Bullies

During the culmination of my self analysis it dawned on me, that I had some traits of a bully over my years. A dominant figure who would tease and make fun of others, for my own entertainment.

A bully is understood to be an intimidating individual who imposes their will through fear and violence.

Now I never went so far as to abuse or beat people up, but they generally knew retaliation would be grave if they were to try anything.

Studies in the 90s alluded to those kind of bullies being persons with low self esteem, who pride themselves on dominating others.

My question is this, what signs have you noticed to be bullies?
What planetary influences causes one to have bully qualities?

I keep thinking it's the Leo in my chart that has me this way, or perhaps it's the Mars in Aries... hmm

At around age 6-7 there was this ugly little girl who used to go around bullying kids. Even back then my adrenaline raced at the thought of her doing to me what she did to them (walking up to them, slapping their cheek really hard, then skipping away laughing) and when the day came for her to try me, I ducked, pulled back up and slapped the SH.IT out of her. Only difference was that I didn't skip away, I just folded my arms and looked down at her (she fell back) with a smirk. She never told on me, and I was hailed a lil bit of a hero by the other kids who hadn't defended themselves, but I left that school shortly after (my teacher was a racist--made a lot of derrogatory comments about Black people as well as Hispanics, and my mother found out and almost ended my teacher's life...we decided another school was best for me, lol), and at my next elementary school I was a bit of a bully.

There was an incident, where this little girl who got picked on a lot by my bully peers, named Ana, was crying on the bus by herself, and I broke from the pack to go find out what was wrong. I don't remember what she said, but my heart softened and I made friends with her...she later turned out to be psycho, and I distanced myself, but I was glad she broke me out of my lil "clique" because I really wasn't feeling the whole "mean girl" vibe, I'm more the class clown. I never bullied again.

The signs I've encountered who had tendencies to be bullies were:

Aries (usually because of insecurities they try to project). And they can be merciless, jeez...
Geminis (the ones I've known were cuckoo for cocoa puffs, nuff said)
Leos (the "king/queen of the jungle" mentality got/gets to a lot of Leos I knew/know)
Some Capricorns and Cancers, but they gotta be abused to go there, in my experiences...
Libras, sometimes
But mostly Taurus. Unfortunately, in my personal life, I've never known a Taurus female who wasn't a loud, manipulative, ego driven, rude, insecure biznitch. I know some were abused (verbally, physically) as kids, but don't know what the problem was with the rest, and don't give a sh.it, really. They just need to stay outta my face, or lose teeth; go see a therapist for that sh.it, don't get hurt by someone's fist just because you "think" you're a baaad bi.tch.

I've been bullied, mostly during middle school (high school was a different story), but what I remember the most was my "friendship" with a virgo girl when I was younger. We were sort of forced to be friends; my mother and her mother had known each other forever, and my brother and her brother were best friends (and still are after many years). So, it was kind of obvious that we had to be friends too; however, the more I look back, the more I realized we were not meant to be friends. This virgo (her birthday was two weeks after mine, making her a second decan, but she was a year older than myself) was more abrasive and heads on; I was more timid and still hadn't really found myself or the need to take charge (I mean, I was 9). Needless to say, this virgo bossed me around quite a bit; she treated me like shit half the time and I often felt sad around her. There were times when I didn't even want to go to her house, but I had to because my mother and brother would. There were also times where we were actually pretty close, but they were random moments. For the most part, I was kind of this virgos puppet, and at around 10, I was pretty fragile because my brother had just left for the army and this was before (and I don't like to talk about it much) my depression kicked in. I have this one vivid memory or me and the virgo playing around and we were "pretending to fight" and punch each other in the stomach; I remember she did it too hard and I fell over, and she didn't even check to see if I was okay. We eventually had a falling out because of a situation that involved her, another friend of mine, and me stuck in the middle. I remember I got in trouble for it, and the only thing I did was choose the side of the friend I knew treated me better. She started to hate me and blamed me for certain things, especially for apparently starting a rumor that I didn't even know about; I remember she came up to me one day, had a picture of her and I, ripped it up in front of me, and threw it in my face; this was in front of everyone, too.

Over a number of years, we started speaking to each other again, and one day, we went to the mall. We were walking and she apologized for all that she did during the time we stopped speaking, but she said if I were in her shoes, I would have done the same because I had "really hurt her." I just remained quiet because there was no use getting through to her that I had said nothing, I had done nothing, and if I were in here shoes, I

I wouldn't have done the things she did to me. This virgo has moved away now and is living her life, but right before she did, we reconnected on facebook. Needless to say, I no longer hate her, but I know that we were just never meant to be friends. It was toxic, and my mother never really noticed. However, she did realize that we were very different and there were some things that were swept under the table that shouldn't have been, only because we were kids.

I'm sorry to have just gone off on this thread, but it reminded me of her, virgos, and bullying. As of now, none of the virgos I know really bully anyway, but only because we're mostly adults now and focused on our own lives.

To contribute to this thread, Aries and Geminis are the ones I know for sure would bully other people, just from observing some.

That's messed up, Candeh--dang. I never really had Virgo friends, growing up, so I can't even agree or disagree. The only thing I can say about our sign is that we're (in my opinion, of course) generally very quiet--we're not ones to pick fights. But once you pick a fight with us, be prepared for the volcanic blast, lmfao. It's a "poke the bear" thing, why the f would you mess with someone who's not even bothering you? People just mistake "quiet" or "shy" for "punk" but the Virgos I've known have been anything but. I usually don't get along with other Virgos, I really never did before this site (and another, I met a lot of Virgos on another forum that I really clicked with)--but my reasons were usually because they tried to pull classic type Virgo shiznit on me that I saw coming from a mile away, lmfao. The ones I knew were usually the negative stereotype Virgos, and it turned me off. But when I meet Virgos who embrace the positive sides of being Virgos, it's such a pleasure! They're so funny, and sweet, and even when they get depressed (and boy do they) I just want to wrap my arms around them, and rock them back and forth to soothe them, because I know they're truly loving people, and just falling prey to the blahs.

It's the same w/Taurus, to be honest--before this site, I never met Taurus that I actually "liked"--members like Venusianbull are really great examples of the other side, and I've met a few more that were like a breath of fresh air when it came to bulls, gives me hope, lol. Taurus men, however, have never given off a bully vibe to me--even the controlling ones--they've always come off as lovably sweet to me, it's just always been the women.

LOL. No, it's definitely not the Leo in your chart. Leos themselves don't sink into that part of the darkside (i.e bullying) Leos are too kind hearted to do that, and even if they were provoked it wouldn't be a bullying thing, it would be an intense confrontation bordering on physical violence. But hopefully it would never come to that. I guess it would be an Aries thing, maybe Scorpio?

No Scorpio in my chart really, c'ept for Pluto.
But yeah, Scorpios can definitely be bullies.

Bullies target people w/that confident air when they get bored of the "easy prey".
I notice those that like to prey on the weak will regard those with confidence as "cocky" or "arrogant" instead of saying what they REALLY mean, which is "too strong to put up with your bitch bullshat/too intelligent to succumb to taking orders from you".

I do love it when some regard Virgos as "conceited" or "stuck-up". They're usually the ones who prey on the signs that don't mind being kicked around. It's pathetic, but as long as they know not to try that sh.it with us...

Cappy girls only seem cold to strangers, once you get some sort of friendship/acquaintance status with them, they are the sweetest people you'll ever meet. In my experience it is Taurus women that love to play the cold bitch card, never met such a complacent/self-serving sign.

personally, i don't think any sign has a monopoly on potentially being a bully and having low self esteem. I've interacted with tons of people in my lifetime in many types of scenarios.
Bullies and people with low self esteem came in all genders, shapes, sizes and ethnic backgrounds etc.

I cant say I was a bully, I cant remember being mean to someone for the hell of it, but my sister tells me now that I was a bully in school because girls were scared of me and I was like shocked "who me", lol...I definately didnt like to see weaklings get picked on so sometimes I would stick my nose where it didnt belong just so those bullies who were picking on the weaklings were getting their asses kicked by me.

Awww, lol--yeah, that was me too. Til this day, I will still fight for the underdog. No fear.

I know. I realized this much later, years later. When this happened, I was only about 12 or 13. At the time, when being stuck in the middle, I was driven by fear and not wanting to upset anyway (such a virgo desire). In the end, I told a lie (and the whole situation was pretty harmless -- it occured because of a middle school yearbook), because while I knew what was right, in my heart I didn't want the one friend I knew who treated me like a friend to get in trouble because of one small thing. In the end, I did take the fall, but it really showed me what kind of person that virgo friend was. I suppose it was me finally thinking for myself, even if I did get in trouble for it.

I saw the angry her far before that. And she already lashed out with the rumor thing and the picture ripping; something I didn't even have a part of. I never once found out who started it, why it happened, but that's a rumor. If she really knew me, which she didn't even after all those years, she would have known I wouldn't have done such a thing. Yes, I told a small lie which I paid for, but the things she did were far more upsetting.

Hmmm... this is a good example of Virgo on Virgo violence, lol.

I was best friends with this August 24th guy, but he was pathological liar. He used to introduce me to chicks, screw them then lie to leave them. Thing is they would befriend me too, and when one questioned me on his "parting story", I told her what he said, doesn't sound like the truth.

He got upset and stopped talking to me, then went on to lie about me to my ex Sag at the time. We were like brothers, the only difference is I was open and honest... he was closed and a liar.

I was the laughing stock or the bullied weirdo back in my days. Hell, my change of direction for the need of extreme music was part of my image, and the strangeness of thoughts i had through out my adolescent years.

Nah, I'll respond for cajun. I have met some very cold pisces. During my college years, I took a speech class, and i would usually tell people stories about my adventures, and being an august virgo, I would come up with random stupid shit because people usually assumed things about me, but i did that only as a joke (i usually told them i was joking or lying after), and there was this pisces chick who was always mad. She would always give her presence off as if she was so disturbed by the environment she was in because people had to talk about their "personal" life, and i don't think she liked talking about her personal life openly. I guess she must have hated the world or something, but it didn't bother me. I'm a very jolly virgo probably as jolly as shaka, and I remember she would always stare at me, but i'd look away, and i remember during a break she came up to me and asked if i had a cigarette, and i told her, "no" and smiled to try and come off nice. She gave the loudest sigh and walked away as if i was a problem for not having a cigarette I felt hurt...not really, but she stopped going to that class after the 8th week of class.

Another example: A pisces chick was in a psychology class i attended, and she only talked to people for cigarettes, and i remember standing outside of the class talking to a leo chick, and she abruptly said loudly, "ARGGHHH, I DON'T LIKE THIS CLASSS" and stormed off.

Pisces are pissy...

I have never met a really negative capricorn, just ones who are caught up on boyfriends or family.
Scorpios are fucking psycho, so i stay a few fet if not cities away from them...

But seriously....cap women and gemini women I've experienced are the bullies in school. I saw most tauruses as hedonists or very serious loners and tom boys. Sagis were in ever activity-male and female. Taurus dudes were popular and didn't care that they were. LOL Leo dudes always stood out. Libra dude challenged the grain, libra women were the chicks with drama everyday. Virgo chicks were the ones cursing people out in class. Aries dudes were bullies. Aries women were the creative type. Aquarius women were always in fistfights but had excellent grades. Leo women were in and out popularity's favor. LOL scorpio women were the ones in the back of the class wearing black and purple-not goths...there weren't any goths at my school. Capricorn dudes were musicians. Virgo dudes were quirky. Except september virgos- they were athletes and womanizers...they did NOT get along with the libra dudes. Some epic fights there. And the gemini dudes did everything....just half assed except if they were athletes. Libras were of course the most plentiful.

I should've started hating scorpio women back then. Lmao
Oh and honorable mention, in the workplace libra women seek the way everyone else is going and immediately establish themselves in the bandwagon....often over a friendship, too. And when managers, libra women tend to find reasons to reprimand rather than ways to be efficient. Sorry...just observations if we have to be general.

Pisces as cyber-bullies? I think not. They're quite low-key and 'Prince Pisces' is pretty cool. I think that title would have to go to another tribe...

I've had friendships with fire girls (Aries & Leo)and I can assure you it was non-stop DRAMA. Drama as in their personal lives. It was as if problems just followed them. I had a steady and calming influence on them. I tried my best to help keep them grounded but it just became too much after a while. Every other day it was something new...sigh.

I see all the work those scorp chicks tried to do on you in the other thread was all for naught eh?

I agree to an extent, but i never had any problems with all the taur-gals i have met, but the one thing i do is watch my words and actions because they tend to pick up on it quickly, and become attracted to you if you don't want that from them, and if they have boyfriend's they may want to leave them or cheat on them with you. I'd give an example, but i give too many and if you have dealt with this scenario then you may know what i mean...

Hm,i know a september virgo and he helped me through hard time when others were bullying on me during middle school..but he only helped me once since he was in another school and we were just both on the same trip at that time...I remember that i as an aqua i was mostly a loner during my younger years,so ti'll the age of 14 i was nonstop bullied/looked down at/i had a lot of fights,A lot of fist fights,once I even almost got my leg broken by this soccer player,and bullies love it when their target is a loner so I was an easy target.I remember i took fights for this other girl(taurus) who was bullied,but then she said that i did nothing for her ever,and that I am just praising myself for how cool I am that I don't do anything for her.and she said this in a way to directly hurt me,not in a sad "im-so-sorry-for-myself" way.....stupid bitch,yeaaaa,getting myself more hated at that time,getting into fights was a big NOTHING,yea sure.
After a lot of fights,when I had more friends,was going out more and also wasn't afraid to fight then the bullying kinda stopped,so it was enough of a childhood trauma for me which caused me for many years a low self esteem cause I was a victim of verbal abuse and also phisical bullying. Maaaan,i remember how those years sucked 😛 . Anyways,virgo's are waaay too sweet and kind to be bullies. 😄

It's really about putting yourself on an 'even keel'. They will respect you. I never saw Caps as bullies. Probably because my sister is a typical cap and I love her to death. I find caps to just be really sweet underneath it all and I don't find them to be too concerned with other people's lives. making money and creating a nice life for themselves seems to be their main focus. Caps can be controlling however and I learned this when I worked with a Cap man but then he soon learned that Virgos take no shorts. I think bulls are definitely the bullies of the earth signs. My best friend is a Capricorn sun, Scorp moon and she's awesome. She can come across as cold and moody until you get to know her, but she's really a sweet and warm-hearted person underneath it all.

Nah, I have tried to be cool with many of them, and i just ended up feeling confused and left at the short-end of the relationship (friend wise), so i do my best to avoid pisces...mostly, the ones born from march 11th to march 18th.
