Do you feel cursed as a Virgo?

So lately I have been feeling very bad about myself and for the past 3 years I have had a string of very bad luck to car accidents to job problems to meeting the man of my dreams to only have him be super busy with work and dump me. I have been reading up on virgos and I'm really wishing that I were another sign. We're like the worry wart people that have to work so hard for everything. No luck is on our side. Can you write back with your opinions on this with similar experiences or better yet things that contradict it. Thanks!
Yes it's tough being perfect . . . but the stars have chosen us to carry out this responsibility. j/k

f'ing right! lmao....but as a Virgo, I don't feel cursed at all; Whom ever said life is easy is fool and I'll call 'em on it everytime; you've got to be determinded/confident to get the most out of it. I delight in a struggle or challenge then to come out of it, without a hair out of place, or a scar on me....see? It's one of the many benefits of perfection....cursed? Me? not at all....lol

(Virgo is without a DOUBT THE MOST POORLY UNDERSTOOD/AND UNDERESTIMATED SIGN OF ALL; I don't even think I'll talk about how biased astrology is.) lol Life makes you who you are for better or worse and you have the greatest gift of all; the ability to choose; to sit back and be a victim, or to step up and seize your destiny. I'd rather show people what it means to be a Virgo, than to have someone speak it for me. That's for damn true! I know what makes me a Virgo, and I know what doen't so who does an astrologist think they are telling me that "that's not very virgoan" or 'that's not becoming of a Virgo; you're not using your gifts' you can't take half the drek these 'people' (yes that's right people, they're not gods bearing divine scripture)speak seriously. They're people which means they're still stuck in their desire to be personal, and talk about things from a subjective view point meaning they'll see something only through the hue they wish to. That's the gift of idividuality. People can say what they want, as far as I'm concerned, I'm going to be me, and all it means.....NO one, but NO ONE tells me what to do, or how to be.

When he was younger, he would go through depressions because he wants to be perfect and when he didn't have anybody to constantly express to him that he is perfect, even when he's not ... it would bring him down because then only had himself to please and this just won't do for a Virgo because they never feel like they are good enough for themselves = strives for perfection.
With you, like him .. once you find a partner who believes in you and your abilities, no matter what, you won't feel cursed any longer.
Have you ever heard of Quantum Physics? What you think about, what you concentrate on ... your reality is being created. If you think about how bad your life is, then it will be bad. Instead, try to think about the good things .. the beauty of it, what brings a smile to your face .. and then you will find that your life will get turned around.

you're not a weakling so stop feeling sorry for yourself (well you could be, but I'm trying to cheer you up). Listen, when I read half of the reccourent b.s. that came out on astrology about Virgo I almost wanted to grab up the nearest astrologist, and monster him (punch him through his teeth and rip out his tounge). But I returned to the rational part of myself, and realized it's all lies; By me just being who I am, and being a Virgo, I contradict all the slime and ooze spewed out. Most of the crap they talk about is just looking at the symbology of the sign. The sign for Virgo is a Woman but more truly an angel/goddess; and we all know that women are often looked upon throughout history as weak, modest,shy, basically not even to be uttered in the same league as with a man ....ya know the damsel in distress ...well, I'm here to let ya know that YOU'RE A VIRGO. So ulitmately who's opinion of Virgo matters more? Yours, or there's?.
If one person thinks he's got the right to walk around like an asshole and treat people like shit and grunt 'yeah, I'm a Scorpio/Aries/Leo what up?!' then he deserves from this Virgo to be punched in his face; I'm not as sensitive as I lead on....when it comes down to it, power really is all that matters...
Being a Virgo is fun. Yes they have a lot of nervous energy. But they also have the power to change themselves and their circumstances. Also being a mutable sign Virgos tend to forget and move on from things rather than brooding.

I was born on Sep 1 too. I agree with some of the things you say, but I think my attitude is a little different. In love ... I have had the best and the worst in recent times. My last break up was only last week and it was ugly! But you know what, I really believe that I was in that relationship to learn more about myself, grow and be better able to deal with my soul mate WHEN he comes around. I don't hold grudges and I embrace lessons - as hard as that may be sometimes. I cry a lot too (when I'm alone). It's strange because I don't want the outside world to see me in my weak moments. So I cry alone - to let go of the emotions inside. And that helps me a lot. Accidents and stuff ... yes, I've had them. If you are anything like me, you always want to come out on top. So, you know what, I bought myself a better car. I was due for one anyway, I just didn't want to let go of my baby (the old car) just yet. So the Universe let go of it for me. And now I'm enjoying my Merc. About jobs ... I almost got fired last year. Not because I didn't know how to do my job, but because of personal differences with my boss. Guess what ... I now work for an Investment bank on Wall Street. Been there for a year and I have never felt so appreciated in a job! And it was so much fun rubbing that fact at my old boss' face. They still invite me to their functions (because I'm now Alumni) and I gladly accept.
I can brood like nobodies buissness but I move on in my own time; my life really hasn't been about adaptability as I've always had the choice (yes it makes all the difference) to be with the group and conform and loose myself, or be alone with my ideas, really just having the ability to choose, to step up to lead, or to fly your own route says you don't have to just merrily go along with something that doesn't work for you in general so why just adapt?;

you'd be suprised of far off some of these astrologers are.....an introvert (this is esentially what the zodiac is; a 12 point summary of the general system of introversion and extroversion) is harder to understand than an extrovert because the energy of an introvert lies 'inside' them and isn't as easy to figure out as the extrovert who lies on the surface for all to see so generalities don't work for introverts....you've got to investigate an introvert, you can't speculate like you could for an extrovert. An introvert is self-disciplined and relies of of internal devices to gauge their personality and how much of it to show; an extrovert dosen't have the depth to understand this because they usually are typified to be the idealist, and the irrational thinking person that think everyone is innately good.

VIrgo freely flies between the masses or on it's own goals/purposes; the wings on her back in my opinion represent the power of objectivity, choice, freedom....so, what do you choose want2beloved? To wallow in self-pity, or to stand up and start to demand positivity in your life?.
I agree with your comments Virgoexalted. I think it easy for Virgos to dwell in self pity. I have a lot of Virgo friends and we all go through this. But like you said in one of your posts ... we have choices. Ahhh, the beauty of having choices. And that's why it's also easy for us to move on and conquer our situations.
I sure didn't say self-pity. I wouldn't waste my time feeling sorry for myself. Feeling sorry for yourself contradicts the general idea that I was getting at; you are in control/can engage your own destiny so how does wallowing in self-pitty get you there? that being a rational thinking person, I don't see any point to self-pity. A choice/dream ALONE is worthless without the discipline necessary to execute them and the mind to direct your destiny. I don't have confidence in any specific thing I do, or some kind of trait I have; but in the general idea that I can make a difference in my own, or someone elses life and effect my own destiny; it takes a lot of self-confidence, (in my case gained through realization/awareness. The right words (regardless of their intent be they benevolent or malifecent) can significantly alter the course of your life by altering your perception. In order to succeed (by this I mean meeting your own potential success is not limited to material wealth/acquisition) you need a clear, pure mind that is uneffected by a toxic society, and your own personal demons (No Virgos aren't immune or without them) someone who is centered enough with themselves that they know just who they are in times of pressure. Maintaing your beliefs all the while being big enough to respect, and appreciate others; the only thing I don't appreciate is ignorance, self-pity, regret, and closed mindedness.
What I admire in EVERY VIRGO is that sincerity.....the ability to freely open yourself up at WILL and speak from the depths of your being that is amazing....the Virgo Women who do this mystify me I mean MYSTIFY me....to be so straight forward, but to still be a mystery... I'm glad I've met them....now a bitter, and disillusioned one will be harsh and crititcal of the 'pure' one out of envy....criticism is in subtext a source of envy.... The nature of Virgo in my opinion is to 'know' themselves....how do you expect outside forces to be aware of YOUR own potential? It's up to you to show, weild, hide ect. I've gotta say that everything that they've said is based off of what is seen on the surface, and what planet the sign is given.....Virgo is a deeper, larger soul than what is expressed through Mercury I believe Mercury just doesn't do Virgo any good....it's just a temporary dwelling for the sign....but they don't want to acknowledge it. I say it with a heavy heart because our true innermost nature is not recognized in the astrological community.....sad, to think that such a globally recognized source of wisdom could be so biased....There is a hidden strength to everyone but that's up to the individual to express....I don't think anyone is weak, just 'unaware' of who they are, and nothing is more sad than seeing a floundering soul.....
and that's the whole point of astrology; to express the souls journey through each of these phases of life; but how can we understand the end result of the journey if we are inaccurate/unaware of our travels? Everything matters no matter what the size of it's scale.
