Help me understand compatibility and any experiances.

My boyfriend and I are pretty crazy about eachother and I just introduced my son to him about 4 month ago. my boyfriend has had some interaction but because im the mom and this is my first serious relationship as a mom since my sons dad I obviously interfere alot in there chances to get to know eachother. im a do it myself sag. but my boyfriend has been very open about wanting to build a friendship with my son for the sake of us evolving in our relationship. How can I help this? and also are the signs in their favor? what are thinks I should know about my two signs?
