Hmmmm

Now... I should probably post this on the Aries board... but I don't like wandering to the other boards much.

Here goes.

Saturday, I wasn't planning on going to visit her, mainly because the weekend before, when her and I drove all over northwestern ohio, I ended up overspending. So having little money, I figured it would be best to wait until next pay day to go see her. (I only get paid on the 15th and last day of each month, it sucks)

I was going to call her Saturday night after finishing up some school work (yeah, I was short a class for graduation so I'm stuck one more term). But she ended up calling me in the early afternoon. Her brother-in-law is in the army reserves and was going to be at drill, and her sister was going to be going out of town to stay with him, hence, Aries gal was going to be staying home alone.

She wanted me to come up. I explained I was broke and I'd only have enough money for gas to get there and back and hopefully make it through the week, so we weren't going to be able to go out or do anything. She said that was fine and we could just stay in.

So, I agreed and drove up to visit her. Then we ended up going out to dinner (Saturday and Sunday)... and she paid for everything over the weekend, food, drinks, movies (rentals)... I felt bad. But she insisted on it because of all the things I've done for her (buying her food, dates, etc). So she said it was fine.

Basically on every date I've taken her on, she always offers to pay me back, and I just let her say that, because I don't expect it (old fashioned me). But she insists on "getting even". Everytime I take her somewhere, she says she owes me, or she'll do something nice for me.

I dunno, are Aries gals always this generous? It confuses me, because I've never had (let) a gal pay for anything (pride I guess), but at the same time, she's willing to do that just to have me be with her, it kind of makes me feel good somewhat 🙂

But now I owe her 🙂

I say this: It seems as though she loves you and cares and wants to be a part of your life that is not just on the taking end. Let her do what she wants to, to contribute to the whole. She's letting you know that she doesn't just want you in her life for what you can give to her, but also wants to give to you, where it is appropriate, which, now, it is, so that you can be together. I relate to this very much, so just don't feel like you OWE, but if you don't love her back, stop now and bow out. So that means NO disappearing acts, no balogne...you love her: accept. You don't: go back to where you came from.

I haven't pulled a disappearing act with her since August... she's got me.
