My question is Do virgos get jealous? And how do you know?
I asked this question earlier...but realized it has gone unnoticed in a thread. haha
Several Virgos I know say they don't get jealous or care. But then they are contantly talking about how their man is talking to this woman or the other and they hate it. They act really possessive and don't want them associating with certain people. I have a friend that her virgo man doesn't want her talking about other men, and detours her by leading her away from situations (in public) that she is chatting with other men. So what is the deal Virgos?

Virgo men do in fact get jealous but they look at this emotion as a sign of weakness so they tried their best to hide it. But if you know him you can tell when he's jealous--the one i am/was involved with used to get a stern expression on his face almost as if he was upset and when he was under a few drinks he would vocalize his disapproval. Dont do it on purpose though--they will resent that.. Mine also used to be quite rude (ignore me or not be polite) when my male friends came to look for me and he was jealous or slam his door since he lives in my building. They also make it a point of their duty to show up in your vicinity almost as if to offer a sort of "threatening presence"

The question asked is stupid and insignificant (no offence)
Everyone get jealous some shows it some don??t, nothing Virgo-ish about it.

Uh some people don't get jealous. It's called trust.

Hm.
You are too young to understand, jealousy is part of the human nature but acting upon it is important thing to control not the feeling itself.
Jealousy to some degree is a healthy emotion which means you care.

SL,
Virgos are more possessive than jealous.
Uh some people don't get jealous. It's called trust.
I would agree in that the kernel of jealousy is suspicion. Virgos aren't overly suspicious of their lovers (like Scorpios), so they tend to not get as jealous as others...
But, cause a trust issue, and we can get jealous.
Yeah, we're tight-lipped about it, but you'll see it in our behaviors - I get lock-jawed & very quiet when I'm upset...
I got jealous once with Debra, and really showed my butt - she set me straight (and will pick at me about it years later).

When a Virgo is upset, he gets quiet.
Jealousy happens to us.
The easiest way to get me upset is to demonstrate to me that you can do something with someone else and not do it with me.
My Scorpio exs were NOTORIOUS for always making a big scene when they met someone while we were out.
A loud exclamation and a big warm hug.
Yet I would get no such thing. They would tell you a million things about how they feel and how much they want you on the phone, yet get stupid and hold back what they SHOULD be doing when they finally see you.
Virgos like ACTION. Consistent, honest and genuine.

That is the Scorpio game, you learned it at a very young age, Cajun .... a life lesson that will take you very far, for every Scorpio female baits/snags using that tactic. The purpose of it is to try and make you think she is in big demand, and look how lucky you are for winning such a prize possession.
To topic ...... I've never seen my Virgo jealous. Perhaps he may feel it, however, he would never show it because he knows I would never play him at it ... so, if I get attention from men, it's not because I am playing him for it, it's because of my being real attributes that has attracted a man to me.
"I have a friend that her virgo man doesn't want her talking about other men, and detours her by leading her away from situations (in public) that she is chatting with other men."
That sounds more like a respect thing ... why would this female friend of yours be talking about other men in the first place? Is she trying to make him jealous of her?
See, this is the game I was talking about, and why my Virgo never gets jealous of me because I don't play him like that. There's no reason for her to be talking about other men to him, nor her chatting other men in public when he is with her?
I'd be willing to wager that your friend is a jealous person herself, and because people can only anticipate in others what they are capable of understanding .... because she is a jealous person, she believes that she has to make him jealous so she can feel validated.
"how their man is talking to this woman or the other and they hate it"
this sounds passive/aggressive ..... and Virgos do have a touch of this.
keep in mind though, to dislike something, doesn't equal being jealous. I can be upset about something somebody did, and not like that they did it at all ... but, that doesn't mean I am harboring some kind of jealousy.
Seriously, I can't ever remember any of my Virgo people getting jealous .. again, I'm sure they do experience this emotion .. but, they are conscientious about how they are viewed, so would remain composed/collected.

Very interesting...Well I have a lot of fire sign friends and then oddly enough the other 50 % are Virgos. The friend was a Saggie. She loves talking to other male friends/ meeting people but her Virgo always interupts. How would you guys explain the difference between being possessive and jealous? These are two things that can often get confused with each other.

P-Angel, if it's one thing Pisces women know how to do, is be the girlfriend/significant other to a man.
They are faithful and never step close to boundaries. All the Pisces women I know are incredibly committed and shoot down all advances from any man. They are friendly but always mindful of what their man thinks and how he feels.
Jealousy for a Virgo man, is when he sees his girlfriend paying more attention to another man, passing compliments to another man or spending time with another man whilst not acknowledging him, giving him the same thing in equal or excess amounts.
Possessiveness for a Virgo man, is wanting his girlfriend to be HIS. She should know not to be too friendly with other men. My first paragraph in this post to P-Angel is a pretty good example.
My Sag girlfriend loves to go around hugging every man she knows, pisses me off.
Taking pictures in other men's arms, pissed me off to high hell.
She does things in typical Sag fashion and is oblivious to my feelings.
Hikoro! I totally know what you're talking about.
I've dated many "submissive" men, who just give
me everything I wanted. I think Scorpio women
are more driven towards the "bad boys". It
gives us something worth figuring out.
I love my Virgo more than the world,
He's had his downfalls, but we've
somehow worked through them. He
gets's extremely jealous of
other men. He knows that
I will always be faithful
to him, but he just
does not trust
other guys.
Anyway, I like it that way, it shows that he cares.
I think it's sexy and dominant. We're always in
some kind of competition, whether it be sexually
or just in general. :]
I'm a Scorpio and I don't 'play games'. I like my privacy and quiet life with less of an audience. I hate physical contact with anyone that's not close to me and am still uncomfortable with it unless it's my partner. My boyfriend is a Virgo and we get along just fine. That's generalising and it pisses me off. You probably did something to make her feel less important first.

How do you know when a Virgo is jealous?
They grow quiet and distant.
But he will never tell you.
Keep in mind, these men are quite traditional.
Man respects Woman.
Woman respects Man.
One Guy.
One Girl.
