which reminds me, it's been swallowed up by now i'm sure, but you asked if i would be upset if i found out that your posts about your wife and children were fabricated. iirc, someone actually has accused you of that before. and their argument, while certainly refutable, did raise some good points.

i would be a little surprised if it turned out that you weren't who you claim to be as far as your background and your family. that's mainly because you've attacked others for being dishonest, so it would be unexpected. but i wouldn't be bothered by it very much at all. none of my dxp-relationships are that "deep" to a point where i would feel betrayed. in my personal opinion, that's the best way to go about online interaction.

cause no matter how much you try to keep it honest and "real", you really never know who you're dealing with unless you know them in person.

dy, let me get back to being serious for a second again. actually, first of all let me remind you that i e-♥ you again.

now. there is nothing wrong with expecting honesty from others. but this is a message board for crying out loud. people can invent whatever identity they want to. most do, to some extent or another. even you don't use your wife's real name (for privacy, but it still is not 100% true to your real identity).

no one is perfect. i'm not perfect. but if i may offer some constructive criticism, i think that you take it a bit too far dy. i don't know whether it's because you're relentless or because you find it amusing. maybe a combination of the two. once you have presented your case, that's really all you can do. even if you ran a trace on her ip (which is creepy, this is me being honest) and it turned out that she had been lying about where she posted her messages from, dxpers will believe what they want to believe. if they like her, they will continue to do so, and to support her, if only to retain a sense of consistency in their judgments.

i'm not saying that i think eden is a liar, because i don't know (nor care) one way or the other. but those are my thoughts on the matter and on your attacks against purportedly dishonest posters.

another thing to consider is that, compared to some of the other outrageous behavior on dxp, eden is pretty harmless. she doesn't lash out unless provoked. her advice, regardless of whether she has been truthful (again, i have no idea) is often positive and helpful.

anyway, i think i've written enough about this.

My looking up her IP address is a result of DXP no longer displaying them.
