I just discovered I'm sag/sun virgo/moon and the object of my affection is a virgo/sun virgo/moon guy. I read that the moon sign plays a major role in relationship compatability? Do you all find this to be true?? I ask because for whatever reason I 'get' this guy and I'm wondering if it has to do sharing the same moon sign (since apparently Sag and Virgo see the world differently). hmm

I don't know, lilo .. everybody has their different theories on what planets need to be where, for compatibility .. and I'm not convinced that any of it really matters.
A person could fall for a total bumb ... and to you, he's awesome. I'm believing that we, as people, fall first-look for reasons why later. Also, I believe that qualities we find in one person that is an attraction, those same qualities will repel you with another person.
One person can stimulate you, the other can't .. even if thier planets are in the same placement? Why? Because we have fallen and that's what we WANT to see.
However, if I had to think about planet placements ... I would think that the woman's moon should be compatible with his Venus, since the female aim in a relationship is domestically oriented ... and since his Venus shows how he would be "In Love", he would want to embrace the woman he is in love with as it relates to her as the woman of his home, his children ... her moon.
Thanks P-Angel. Interesting. So I looked up his Venus, and well, it's Virgo AGAIN. Which is good I guess since that's where my moon is, but is it?? Is this like a triple 6?

You're welcome, lilo ... though, I really don't know much about astrology, and usually depend on other people to tell me what stuff means.
My assessments of planets is in reverse .. meaning, I look at people and how they act and then associate it with a planet, rather than the other way around.
My husbands 5 personal planets are:
Sun - Virgo
Moon - Aries
Mercury - Virgo
Venus - Cancer
Mars - Pisces
And whether this has any compatibility with my planets, I've no clue, however, his Venus/my Moon is both in Cancer.
Thanks pL and P-Angel. I find this all very fascinating. I only took note of the fact he was a Virgo because my mom, dad and oldest brother are all Virgos as well as two previous bosses and a close friend. Def similarities among all and I relate quite well, must be my moon. What is Mercury all about? Arent all Virgo's the same in this regard?

Although, like I said .. I don't really know. My assessments of planets are based on observing behaviour first, and then association with planet placements.
If you go to: cafeastrology.com you'll find definitions for the planets. There are other sites that are probably more accurate, however, that one is pretty simplified and you should be able to find the info your seeking.

U virgos are VERY CHARMING but it's not easy to have Caps fall for you folks.
It's generally the other way around, virgos generally fall hard for Caps.

well, im a virgo moon, and i dated 'incompatible' sun signs because we had compatible moon signs before.

There you go!
Tell me, what can that Sun and Moon and what ever other starts , sitting many lightyears away from us can do to us and our relationships? IF WE COMMIT TO SOMETHING, IT IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE, IT CAN WORK IF WE WILL MAKE IT WORK. It has nothing to do with Astrology.

I know a lot of Virgo Sag couples -- it seems to work well both ways, though I know more Virgo men who get together with Sag women. The Virgs keep the relationship steady, and the Saggies supply inspiration. With the Virg women/Sag man relationship, the Vir-Girl is very into her career, and her Saggie hubby helps her (he's a genius with computers, very intuitive). They have two kids and seem very happy.
Mutable/mutable seems to be a good combo, because both partners seems to go with the flow, can turn on a dime, and keep each other interested.
I'm grateful for my Virg moon, Gem rising, because as a Scorp i have a tendency to get pretty stubborn at times.
