I'm looking for some perspective from others on this forum who have fire moon signs (specifically Aries)....
I think I am the only one left...
- What do you take from your earth/fire combination? Aries & Virgo seem to have very little in common; do you feel like you have split personalities? If not, can you "feel" your moon taking over at times?
I find it to be the best but worst combination for a person. I tend to be of service, but i know when to keep myself from being a door mat and a tool, but if i can't construct a proper procedure, I instantly show my temper.
- Which signs have you had the best experiences with, in terms of romantic compatibility? Earth/Water or Air/Fire? Is it easy to just "move on" with your life and in the process stop initiating contact with someone?
I don't know my previous relationships moon placements, but i know my fiance's and she's a leo mon with a pisces sun.
We work dynamically together because we understand to give each other space and comfort at the same time, so we aren't pissed off at each other, then i would have with my previous ex's.
I have found it difficult to become involved with women, due to my high standards or cap placements i have, but because the leo ones I usually become childishly romantic (in a cute way), but if i feel rejection whenever i show my emotions i back off quickly, and i'm gone and my temper goes (moon in aries).
- Do most people regard you as cocky or arrogant? Do you have a short-fuse? How often do you go out and have fun (be social)?

No, people find me to be calm, but as soon as they get to know me more *here comes the contradiction* , they view more to be far more strange and peculiar. If i am insulted by people, I usually put them off and never take them seriously unless they want to manipulate me or mold me, which i rebel (aries moon), and as for socializing, I love to go out and have fun, but i usually find myself being the "source", and i get all the heavy work, so i often rebel from that to get everyone away from me, so i can calm down from everyone's demands. On a work setting, I have a short-fuse, but the anger is usually tossed onto myself f
I rather like and embrace my Aries moon, it complements and edges my Tau in Fire. It makes me impatient, very much so. If I want I'd like that yesterday, thank you. And in a rather imperious tone. The energy is amazing, when my moon is zipping along I could do anything. Put the stubborn shoulder behind it, channel it. Force unto itself. And yes, can definitely tell when that moon is aflame. I associate much with fire. Enjoy watching it, it pops up in my speech a lot.
I call my moon my 'boot up the ass'.
I do have a flash in the pan temper, can be rude without meaning to be, and have a knack for slicing through BS and getting to the heart of something. Makes me a bit of a cave woman from time to time. The one that gets things done.
Upon first meeting someone they think I am icy, or stuck up. I don't know how many have told me that their first impression was wrong. I guard myself until I sound someone out. To take advantage of me is a mistake. I ruthlessly remove someone from my life if they do that.
I deeply enjoy good sarcastic, dry humor. Rude, crass and filthy too.
I am a complete home body. I do like to go out and have fun when I get the itch, but am content to just be outdoors and have fun too. Not necessary to go out to clubs. My friends call it 'getting out the crow bar' when they've had enough and want to haul me along.

Western and Vedic give me the same exact chart. Are you sure you are putting in the proper time of birth? Remember if you are born at 7:00 pm it would be 19 for the hour not 7. 7 would refer to been born at 7:00 am.
Actually, I was born at 7:00 AM, but I'm still having trouble finding consistent information online... Just now, I tried a couple of Western sites: one says Aries 4.20, the other Pisces 29.57. Maybe this has to do with being born on the other side of the world? If anyone knows of a reputable website that could solve this once and for all, that would be awesome...

Thank you for the link.. It's a bit alarming to read that Vedic is more accurate and yet my personality goes more in line with virgo sun/aries moon (than leo sun/pisces moon). I found it interesting what he said about both systems:

Doesn't that sound like a gimmick to you? So basically one is right, but just in case it isn't, the other zodiac was sorta half-true in the first place, so you're in good hands either way....

I find Aries and Virgo have a lot in common.
Direct, honest, hard working, decisive.
I would'nt say split personalities, I would say moody.

Never dated an Earth sign.
Dated a Libra, I was often perturbed by her... choices.
Dated an Aries, was great, just had no challenge.
Dated a Sagittarius, was great, but she left because she kept her problems to herself.
Dated several Scorpios, really tired of the bubble they live in.

I don't go out to be social often, but when I do, I can be quite social. Again depends on my mood.

I find it easier to approach people, as compared to other Virgos, but I am more aggressive, so I tend to say things that i think wouldn\'t hurt the lady, but she\'ll take it in, and i have to end up apologizing or remind myself that she isn\'t a person to throw around like a football.
Usually, I am attracted by sensitive women, but the ones who stay are the independent ones, and i like that for some reason...I guess if she isn\'t so clumsy and needs my help all the time, I won\'t feel like becoming much of a father figure and stay as a lover, but a good put down is when a woman doesn\'t like how i act around people and demands me to act a certain way...Just sucks, man. I know when to act civil, but if i have to start changing my personality for everyone, then she\'s the wrong person for me, plain and simple.
