My first date with a leo

I'm making this thread primarily because CL asked me to lol, but I went out with my first leo tonight. We went to a tea shop in the city and then out for sushi. My consensus: he was actually quite charming; a gentlemen but sarcastic and witty. He made a comment during the night where he said that his Hebrew name (he is Jewish) meant "lion," and that it was very fitting since he was a leo. He was very well put together, dressed well, had his shit together (that spoke to the virgo and leo in me lol). He has a unsung cockiness that he even underhandedly boasted about, but I could enjoy it because I felt like he could back it up. We made great eye contact. He called me spunky. Needless to say... I'd definitely go out with him again.

So CL, I say you should go for it. It could be pretty rewarding.

Hahaha I was thinking he had to be something really regal and just classy; I was going for virgo or libra, maybe even leo again. He as actually born in Colorado, so it's still towards the west, so close enough lol. I'm almost tempted to ask him if he was born around 11am lol. Libra sounds more promising though.

And my rising is in virgo; he didn't come off too reserved or anything; just very cool and charming (I've used that word so much tonight lol).

It looks like he was born in late July from the degree of his sun, so...eh. I don't really approve of the whole chickeny thing. Man the fuck up. That's how you keep a Virgo's interest, keep them on their toes, or off their toes. lol. So, you'll get a nice tame version, but not that intense playfulness. You'll be able to handle him pretty well, Candeh. I hope this extends into a great relationship, as Leos have what Virgos don't and vice versa, so it could be somewhat life-changing, to a certain degree. And heeeeey! I AM going to take your advice. Plan "ignore-now-that-the-nerf-gun-fights-are-over" will be placed into action starting Monday.

I've been hesitating, because he seems so drawn to me, after adding me on IM and on Facebook, and hopping onto everything I post on FB, I've just been giving it time. Like I said in the other thread, he's blonde haired/blue eyed, and admitted that he's only had 3 girlfriends before (he's in his mid-to-late 20s) and neither have been Black. There was only one kid in his ENTIRE graduating class, in hs, so he's not been exposed. I just wanted to see if it was "I" who was intriguing him, or the thought of jungle fever that was doing it.

But I'm ready to put the plan into action, as I'm tired of him bringing his gf up to remind himself she exists, after he adn I have had lengthy conversations that were beyond flirting (which HE starts!) He bragged about her taking him to lunch on Friday, and she stood him up for two hours. I tried not to make eye-contact, lest he see my "she ain't chit" glare.

So yeah...ignoring mode starting in 3...2...

Sorry, I was at work, so I missed a lot of this lol. PV, it's okay! I mean, it is a curious thing. Like after the party on new years and the fight (not between him and I, the whole story is in the gem forum), I texted the gem to make sure he got home okay, but he never texted me back. I was hurt, but I knew he was fine anyway. But I'm okay. I knew that night that the gem and I weren't going to work out in the long run, but we have mutual respect for each other and probably always will.

That's how you keep a Virgo's interest, keep them on their toes, or off their toes. lol. So, you'll get a nice tame version, but not that intense playfulness. You'll be able to handle him pretty well, Candeh. I hope this extends into a great relationship, as Leos have what Virgos don't and vice versa, so it could be somewhat life-changing, to a certain degree. Leo and Virgo is highly underrated, sort of like a best kept secret.

Hahaha, I've tread in bad boy territory before!!! I mean, this is just leo territory I'm in for the first time lol. And no, he was born early August, so he's still an august leo. I'll see if he's tame or not. I feel like I can't judge too quickly, and he kind of gave me butterflies, only because he has this really playful smirk. And leo is one sign I've always wanted to try, so I'll keep my fingers crossed. But he seems like a good guy in general (he joked he had enough emotions to not make him a sociopath -- totally a different conversation there lol).
