Interesting case indeed.

What's interesting too is that Mr. Ashton decided to retire after this case and at there was a witness that declared that Casey's dad had confessed to her (her love affair) that it was all an accident and that it all snowballed out of control.

I also find interesting the allegations of sexual abuse against Casey's father...I wonder if there is any correlation between that kind of crime and pathological lying acts.

I think all three of them (mom, Casey, and dad) are protecting either Casey or her dad, for various reasons. They are not telling the full story...

However, she should have been held accountable for obstruction during the process in a different way.

Sadly no justice was done for little Cayle today, but this shouldn't be so surprising to all of us considering the corruption in our world. This case was just more advertised than others for some reason...

Nonetheless, may God bless that little girl (she is in a much better place) and those who genuinely sought for justice and truth with a pue heart. And may He restore those that are lost.

I felt from day one they were protecting Casey. Something just didn't seem right, and I remember getting that vibe.

That poor baby.

I'm holding fast to Karma coming through.

Here's what the jurors knew:

Nothing, because they were idiots that followed a rule of Maritime law and not the law of honor. They follow a stupid rule, which got a guilty person free to have more kids. They knew what you all knew, that she was guilty of the death of her daughter using chloroform to put her to sleep so she could go out and be a skank. She did it before, it didn't kill the child, she used a higher dosage, it killed the child. Done! What's this dialogue about? Or, am I being a bit too Earthy?

GeminiMind, Casey's mom declared that she was the one googling for the word chloroform, but later on this statement was rebuked by her own co-workers...this confused everyone.

This, in my mind, leaves only two people in the house...Casey and her dad, but why would that lady make that important clue so confusing?

Other than that there wasn't much clue as to how exactly things went down (going by factual evidence) and sadly not an accepted scientific way to proove that it was Casey's hand the one who did that and even if someone that had done it that way.

There is no question that Casey acted in strange ways, post-Cayley's death, but since they left the body out for so long it and since no one in the immediate family cooperated or confessed more...because I believe there is more...it was hard to convince the jury with proven methods as to how things went down.

Whoever planned things out (whereas Casey or her dad or both) understood the concept of timing and decomposition in these kind of trials.

Just based on other things, it would have been easy to reach a conclusion (as most people have), but since they have to base things in legalistic matters, things can easily get covered up or changed if someone knowledgeable or in power gets in the midts of it all.

The jury which was well balanced saw ALL evidence provided. When you are sworn in as a juror there is specific guidelines to come to a verdict based on that evidence. Now...clearly this woman is an egg donor and does not deserve the title of Mother...but here's a what if...

What if she was one of those self serving, selfish, me, me, me type of people..you know..the classic narcissist and did not enjoy being a mother and just dumped the child whenever she could for her own selfish reasons, and lack of brains. (I see this all the time in custody cases)...Maybe she dumped the child off with the wrong person one day, someone as brainless as she and it resulted in death by negligence? The only guilt then we may have seen or recognize in body language could be the small amount she holds for not being a mother and dumping her child along with this entire ordeal. The time to time smiles we caught her doing was her brainless thoughts of being free from the child (classic unempathetic narcissism) and not worrying about having to take care of the child anymore. Maybe if we didn't jump to conclusions from the beginning and there was a better investigative team on board, there would be more evidence to prosecute & to get a guilty verdict. I dunno...I'm taking a look from outside the box. At a minimum, I believe she should serve life for doing what she did and what she IS found guilty of...3/4 of that for NOT REPORTING FOR A MONTH that her child was missing, which to be fair does have an impact on a negative investigation.

Honestly, I have to agree with this.

From the pictures google images brought up she looks mad self-centered and DUMB.

I haven't followed the case, but I can tell just by looking at those pictures that she did NOT feel motherhood or at least having a child should interfere with the life she had going on before becoming a mother.

That poor child may have dodged a bullet because with a mother like that there's only one kind of person you can grow up to become.

She clearly didn't love her child, because the kid was a burden to her.

Did she mean to hurt the child? Possibly. But from the look of her she's just a dumb little girl who thinks it's all about her.

And there are a LOT of those in the world.

Well form what my wife looked up and told me the prosecution didn't have a case. They didn't even come to the table to say what really killed the child , most of the evidence that came to light, was if she had did it this is the reason why. I don't think she killed her kid. reason one when she lied about were she worked it got busted two when she lied about who was watching the kid it got busted basically when her mouth opened up lies came out. why you think the judge didn't let the issue on the father come to light. i really think that she fucked up with watching the kid the kid died. And im tired of people comparing this case to the OJ one. One the OJ case was botched by the dumb ass police doing stupid shit. this case was botched by the Prosecution for coming to the table with half ass evidence. In the end no one was their to see the killing take place. And when it comes to how the jury weighted on the case Honor has shit to do with looking at facts and hearing what happens. Hell if Honor was used do you realized how many people would have been guilty of shit they didn't do. But hey I'm not on the band wagon to go out and hang this women it reminds me of the mob mind from when whites hated black and would come up with any reason to lynch a black man.

The parents have professional insiders' knowledge of how things work and how to make things happen. We have a young girl who wanted to keep partying. They probably were too tired or wouldn't babysit all the time.So casey gave her baby to whoever would watch her.A three yr olds are so full of energy and can talk to tell the world what happened.casey would have wanted her asleep quickly so she could keep going out.Kaylee mentioned "aunite zanny" would watch her.

So many questions here;Is it zantax or a person with a "zan" in their name?Did casey get zantax from mom the nurse??Or soome of the wild folks she was swinging with??Did parents help move the body? How would it look to the world if a child drowned in a cop and nurses' pool—(If that's what happened).Somebody was really tired of Kayleee screaming and missing the girl who gave birth to her.But who??If anyone saw casey abuse her child, and if they came forward, they probably had "legal issues" of their own that needing tending to.

At the closing statements, the defense said"if you think she was a no good bleep, etc",that took the sting out of it and to have someone say it out loud to her face was satisfation for all, jury included. The prosecution played childish games and over sensationalized their side and when the he laughed at defense, everyone sensed his arrogance and lack of self control. They might have considered that to be so wrong for what was a stake.

The family knows what really happened, what grandparents who haven't seen their very own grandchild,(both knowing what death smells like, smelled it in their OWN daughters car )then wait A MONTH to call 911 ——?? They are all accessories after the fact at the very least.IF they are ever found guilty of anything connected to this, the parents should lose their professional licenses and casey should be sterilized.

Looks like most people in here made up their minds about her guilt without any facts .... that's why none of you are competent to be a jurer.

Everything all of you said is false ... and you don't even care to know it because you don't care to know the truth.

So I'm assuming by this dumb ass comment you made it makes YOU more competent to be a jurer? Nah... it makes you inept. Since you know so damn much, what is your theory as to what happend ms. PICSES?

Devil's Advocate.....

The state tested Caylee's hair for 11 different types of drugs, including Xanax. The test results were inconclusive.

Cindy Anthony, Casey's mother, testified on the stand that she said that the car smelled like there had been a dead body in because she wanted the police to get to her home faster.

They didn't smell the smell and then wait 31 days to call it in. They picked up her car from the tow lot on July 15th and that same day the call was made to 911. George Anthony, Casey's dad, after smelling the smell did not report such to the police for some time after. In fact, after picking up her car he went to work. There is debate as to his motives for doing so.

And lastly, there was also a bag of rotting garbage in Casey's trunk that had sat there for over two weeks. Decomposing garbage.... tons of forensic testimony that ended up basically washing each other out as to if the smell coming from her car was human decomposition or rotting garbage.

Okay.I hadn't heard any off it.Human smell has a distinct odor tho'.But with dad being a cop, cops would be at his house asap anyways.

I heard today that casey lived with parents, where did would she send a 2yr old with a nanny— Alledgedly some folks in Mass. are claiming their dead son is Kaylee's father. They claim they don't want money.

Regardless of whether he was a police officer or not Cindy Anthony, the mom, was on her third call to police. They still hadn't shown up. The orginal calls were over an arguement with Casey over the "stolen" car and stolen money. She was trying to have her daughter arrested. Only on the third call does Cindy talk about the missing grandaughter and the smell. She testified on the stand she said what she said about the car smelling like there was a dead body in it to get police to the house sooner.

Casey did live with her parents. She also lied about having a job and that is when she supposedly left her daughter with Zanny the Nanny. However, since she was not going into work she may not have left her daughter with anyone. To say what happened with Caylee while Casey was supposedly leaving her with the nanny is purely speculation. There is also plenty to show that her parents would watch her daughter for her when she wanted to go out. Not every time, but often enough.

To the issue of the people in Massachusetts.... that's a whole other ridiculous can of something. The woman cannot link her son to Casey at all, but now she claims she has suddenly remembered her son mentioning these peoples names. He died years ago. They cannot even place her son directly in contact with Casey, only that he was occasionally in her area. To my knowledge that haven't even been able to place him in Florida at the time Casey would have concieved. The mother says she doesn't have any of her son's DNA to submit, but that she has been trying to get them to do DNA tests on her. The whole thing is FISHY, sounds a lot like someone wanting 15 minutes of fame.

I followed this case really closely (I you guys can't tell).I have a Criminal Justice degree even though I do nothing with it. Lol, who actually uses their degrees nowadays anyway? Anyway, I am fasicanted by true crime stories and often follow trials they show on In Session as well as other highly publicized trials. For instance, anyone else following Amanda Knox? Looks like she may finally walk free due to some new DNA evidence. It's always really amazing how much of the "evidence" makes it to mainstream media and how little doesn't.

Some simple "Asking Google" and watching the trial feeds (all of the trial is on the web as are many of the interviews, phone calls, documents, etc etc) can typically shed a lot of light on the "facts" swirling around.

LOL, I know... it's ridiculous right? I watched every minute of the trial practically. If I missed it during the day I'd watch in online that night. What can I say... life gets boring on the road! I have a couple friends who share my obsession though so we debate some of the legal tactics and such which make it all the more fun. We had a hayday with this one... They aren't kidding when they say it is the trial of the century.

The next one we've been reading up on is the doc for Michael Jackson, but honestly... I'm not really that interested. Unless my buddies can convince me it's going be a thriller I may take a breather. I'd say I earned it. LOL!

Your "using" your degree right now.See I didn't know that mom had called 3x.That makes sense now that she was so frantic with her calling! That opens another whole can of worms, did Kaylee die at grandparents or would casey drug her and just keep her room or the car or somewhere or not at all.No one will ever know that.

I know that Amanda Knox was that college student that got charged with murder with her Italian bf .A happy little foursome that went bad??People think they can travel abroad and that U.S. laws will protect them from whatever mess they get into instead of the superseding laws of their host country .

Oh man, this is another thriller. However, it's also another one where she was painted guilty WAY ahead of time. There was absolutely no evidence it was a big ole sex party that went wrong. There also no evidence that Amanda and her boyfriend were involved in the crime. There is however dirty politics, tons of yellow journalism and evidence that was HIGHLY suspicious and tampered with.

You know at one point the media was even trying to say it was a Satanic ritual? Freaking hilarious. They will do anything to sell magazines and papers.... The prosecutor Giuliano Mignini had even previously tried to convict and did convict some under this same baloney in the Monster of Florence case. Also an interesting read. Anyway, this prosecutor is not without blemishes himself. He has had many scrutinies along the way in the Monster of Florence case and was eventually convicted with "abuse of office". In the Knox case there is however plenty to suggest that Meredith Kercher was raped and robbed by a drifter, Rudy Guede. His DNA, handprints, and semen was found at the crime scene.

If you guys really want to get into to it, this is a fascinating case of "trial by the media". Tell me the crazy crap you've heard and I'll tell you the backstory behind it!

Casey lied and said she was out of town and then that she couldn't return because of car troubles. She was however returning during the day when her parents were gone to collect items she needed. Instead of being out of town she was living with her boyfriend Tony Lazzaro during the 31 questionable days.

Cheney Mason her attorney confirmed she will not return to live with her parents.

she didn't get "away" . If she was convicted she would do jail time and be away from society and actually lead a somewhat peaceful/solitary life . However now she is thrown back into society . Just imagine ......the hatred directed towards her , the looks , the utter loathing from women/men ............

If you think about it this is far more sadistic /cruel punishment . Let's just say she will not party in peace any longer....

I don't know if it was her who did this henious act for sure (though i believe she did) but she will reap the fruits of her actions one way or another.

Human law may fail but the divine law of karma spares no one ..............

Agreed. She is an outcast to society now

Simple. If she really did murder her daughter, I'm quite confident that jail time is NOTHING compared to the punishment she's due when she meets her maker

However, if she didn't kill her daughter, SOMEBODY freakin' did.

Just b/c they don't have enough evidence to actually convict her doesn't mean that she is innocent.

What's puzzling is that back in the day before DNA evidence & all the technology advances, people were convicted on "circumstancial evidence" all the time!

There have been people who've gotten the death penalty simply b/c 2 witness claimed the person killed someone, even though there was no evidence. So if simply hear-say (which the Casey Anthony trial had PLENTY of) can get someone convicted in other cases, I wonder what's the difference now?

Just further proves that our criminal justice system is flawed. Why people are so surprised is beyond me.

1 thing's for sure...Casey's attorney just hit the jackpot! Dude is gonna have all kinds of people wanting him to be their attorney. They clowned him in the beginning, claiming that he sucked as an attorney. Welp, not now. Casey's trial was like that of the OJ Simpson trial

Vivid Entertainment Withdraws Porn Offer To Casey Anthony

Earlier today, we told you of how Vivid Entertainment head honcho Steven Hirsch reached out to Murder Mom Casey Anthony through her attorney, in order to secure some sort of contract.

It was unsaid as to how much he was willing to offer Casey, but he was sure that people would want to see a porn flick with her in it. The media outrage at her not guilty verdict was and is very strong. It wass a most heinous crime that happened to little Caylee Anthony, details of which we may never know.

Since making the offer earlier today, he has found out the extent of the public hatred for Casey. He has already retracted the offer, saying that people want nothing to do with her.

He said, —It has become obvious to us that Vivid fans, and people in general, want nothing to do with her and that includes a XXX movie. We were ready to make an offer to Casey to star in one of our feature films. It's clear to me now, however, that there has been un overwhelmingly negative response to our offer and so we've decided to withdraw it. We now believe that we underestimated the emotional response that people are having to the verdict. A movie starring Casey Anthony is not what people want to see.??

Thank God for that, we??re hoping that others will sit up and take notice. Oprah, are you listening?!?? You don't get to badger this woman repeatedly and in the same breath offer her hundreds of thousands of dollars for interviews. Why make her a millionaire? She certainly hasn't done anything to deserve it and those who pander to her in order for her to profit from this sick tragedy should be held accountable.

The child was under her care (I use that loosely, but to say that her parents weren't responsible for Caylee's care) during the 31 days. At first they thought Caylee was with Casey out of town and then she said that Caylee was with the nanny.

Casey brought up the molestation. However, there were some witnesses that corroborated her story. However, this testimony was never presented to the jury for one reason or another.

Also, quick note on hearsay. No one can be convicted on hearsay. I think what you meant to say was that people have been convicted on people's witness testimony. Hearsay is not allowed in court as evidence (except under very specific circumstances and such).
