Perfectionism Beyond Redemption...

I either explode or go quiet...me chooses quiet....if I had a pair of scissors I would have cut his ponytail off then and there......we go back to his where he proceeds to tell his cousin of the fantastic hotel HE CHOSE! (eh, it was my suggested preference...that's forgotten!!!!
Her will bide her time.....decisions have to be made about Mister Ponytail!!!.....do I choose the serial flatliner perfectionist! or go look for pastures new!!!! Time will tell........

OMG!!! I can only say one thing...This is NOT a typical Virgo (not me or the one's I know!)...Critical, YES but that is superfragolisticexpialadosis!!! What a pain in the ass! One of the swankiest hotels in Dublin last weekend and following happens....
On arrival Mr. Virgo checks the bed-linen...spotless to me...but he decides he has to change the double bed sheets as there's some "perceived!" mark on it....there's an extra single bed and even though no-one on planet earth will be sleeping in it that night...he checks that too and decides to change that bed-linen.....
....Not enough bubbles in the bottles of bubbly......criticizes that.
...pillows puffed up at least 50 times.....too soft......
....not enough channels on the tv....at least 100!.....criticizes that.
.....dusts down the screen!! of the tv next.......then proceeds to dust the dv player.....
.....replaces the ice-box, even though the porter has just brought it to the room...one never knows how long it could have been left there!!!!.......
....cleans glasses in the bathroom before they can be used even though spotless.....
......starts to polish my cell phone - slight make-up on it.........
......starts to clean his comb.......disapperars in shower for nearly an hour.....doesn't like the smell of the soap!......towels not big enough...they'd wrap twice around two giants....
Next it's my turn....criticizes that I don't ring him often enough!
Had put a little false tan on.....too streaky!!!!
Nail polish chipped.......
Wear too much make-up......
I can feel the tension mounting, creeping up in me like a hot iron.........(say nothing Alana - best make the most of the big nite out.....but after passion is satisfied, and he wants to change the bed linen once again!!!.....her flips.......WTF do you want, WTF are you doing?.....can you not just BE and enjoy the MOMENT—? her shouts!!!!
"Lower your voice....next door will hear us!!!" he retorts......I go to sleep - breakfast (beautiful in my opionon and I am hard to please food-wise) arrives "too early" - 9.30 is the requested time he gave for it himself...he is asleep when the waiter knocks...me shrouds myself in huge towel to answer the door - "don't go like that" he barks...put something decent on!!!!.....bacon too cold, eggs not scrambled enough....tea too weak.....toast not brown enough.....have to vacate room too early....12 midday which is the international norm.......on our way out, the receptionist enquires - everything alright Mr. V? Oh, just perfect, he replies.....we trot out into the sunlight....wasn't that a great hotel.........and he means it!
