I am a Scorp female and I have just met a Virgo man and I am completely taken aback by him. I am so attracred to him and I like him a lot. We seem to be looking for the same thing - I want to get married and start a family in the near future and he has expressed the same interest. We hung out all weekend last weekend (cuddling in the bed) and have talked a lot on the phone. Astrologically speaking, are we compatible? What are the best ways to woo the Virgo man and keep his interest? Any experiences and/or suggestions are very much welcome.

Totally done! He is SO arrogant and full of himself. I was really not that physically attracted to him. I was willing to over look that until I realized how arrogant he is. I decided that the libra and I would probably not work last week. Then, on Thursday an old highschool friend reconnected with me on Facebook. We hung out on Saturday and Sunday and have been talking on the phone. He told me that he likes me and is interested in getting to know me better. So, we decded that we are going to try dating one another. Btw, this is the Virgo who I am smitten with! Lol.Signed Up:

Yes.

Be yourself.
Okay... so you knew this VG in high school. He made the first contact with you through Facebook. Your first weekend together y'all cuddle in bed. Assuming all of this is true, it sounds about right.
I'm a Virgo man married to a Scorpio woman - 3 years in OCT!
Even though I resisted it for a while, I fell hard for her, and I'm a crusty old dude!

Just to share the love on the Virgo Board:

I got a pleasant surprise on Sunday: My original Scorpio Daughter came home from college for Father's Day. She's got a new boyfriend - been dating for just over 2 months - whose birthday is just one day before mine... Yep, he's a September 21st Virgo...
She wants me to meet him when he returns to campus.
We talked about the plusses & minuses of S&V for about an hour. Her descriptions of him sound a lot like me...

Well, from my experiences. The biggest problem I had with Scorpios, is when we talked.
The Scorpio woman would tell me all about these powerful feelings she had and how much she wants me and misses me.
Then when it came time to show it! NOTHING.
I arrived with pent up anticipation, to be smothered, hugged and cuddled and all she does is stand there, staring blankly.
THOROUGHLY annoying.
From what I have learned, oft time the Scorpio is controlling themselves and don't know how to act.
Well I'm telling you NOW!
When you want to kiss him, BLOODY WELL KISS HIM.
Show him your affection!!!

With Debra & I, it's the reverse: I tend to want to talk through things, and all she wants is a hug (or, more!)...

That is one question that I have. I have a Virgo male friend who loves when women play hard to get and who make him chase them. However, i have read that virgo men do not like to chase women as much as other signs and that they like for a woman to be affectionate and loving. There have been times (for example, last night) when I wanted to call him babe or sweetie. But I held back b/c i do not want to be overly aggressive or move to quickly and send him running. Suggestions?

Yes, it is all true. Lol. When you say right do you mean good or typical of a Virgo man?

What I mean is, if he's like me, his attraction for you will be strong, and he'll move faster than you might expect...
Debra & I made love on our second date...
We got married after just 7 months of dating...
We tend to move a lot faster with Scorpios than with other Signs...

I personally move like lightning with women.
I don't want to be friend zoned. All Virgo men need is enough encouragement to chase you.
Don't prolong the chase though...

Good to know. Do Virgo men like a woman who is affectionate and tends to be more agressive or someone who is a little more mysterious?
Thanks so much for all ofthe unput!Signed Up:

Then, call him what you want to call him... do what feels natural for you...
Odds are, he'll like it...

About attraction: In the past, I've been most attracted to women of average height (about 5'4"), with dark hair, and lots of nice curves. Debra is petite (4'11"), blonde, and has an athletic figure. It's not the way she looks, it's who she is that attracts me...
About chemistry: Some astrologers say that Virgo man can get obsessed with Scorpio woman, and I believe it. If you two are like Debra & I, you will be the center of his universe. The good part: He'll be 100% loyal. The bad part: He'll try to unravel all your little secrets...

Very true. Although I know it is best for me to not over think things and just be natural, I know that I will have to hold myself back a bit. If not, I fear that I will give into the chemistry and make myself completely TOO available.Signed Up:

About compatibility: Some people will say about a couple, "They compliment each other." or "They balance each other out." What I've found with S&V is that we unlock potentials in each other - encourage some of those suppressed qualities to come out, like putting a seed in soil and watering it. Debra has loosened me up, and I've opened her up. Yeah, I'm still gonna plan most things, and she's always gonna have her little secrets, but the folks who know us in Real Life are amazed at how we've changed each other...

Thank you!
But, it ain't all moonlight & magnolias!
We've had some BAD arguments, too. S&V have very different ways of speaking, and that leads to misunderstandings -- especially in the beginning. It gets better over time.

Also, what I notice about him is that he is very laid back. He plays the cool role. It appears (at least for now) that he does not want to talk about his feelings too much or answer too many questions. He suggested a few nights ago that I should not ask as many questions and just let things flow. I was not asking questions about him and I, but about him as a person. I guess his point was that I should get to know him naturually opposed to askign a bunch of questions to get to know him. Does this sound typical or does it sound like he is trying to hold back? Certain things that he does lets me know that he is interested. He calls me several times throughout the day, etc. But he just plays it SO cool....

Neither of us like to be questioned.
Let him show & tell you things when he's ready. As he lets you in, you'll know that it's getting more & more serious...

Yes, I can feel the wall that he has up. Not a big wall, but it is there.
Quick question, he is in a radiology program at school. He does not receive financial aid. I was telling him that he should look into it to help him out with his expenses. He has been very busy and has not had a chance to look into it yet. this morning I was bored at work and did a few minutes of research about how he can get financial aid. I sent him an email telling him what I found and with a link to the financial aid form. The email was not long at all - about 3 to 4 sentences long. Do you think that I should have done that? I do not want him to feel like I am already trying to be his g/f or anything. I honestly did it just to be nice, without thinking. But I now how often times things can be misunderstood.Signed Up:

Hey Natural,
I am a scorpio with a virgo.
I have done the latter too, that is, helping him and being of service towards him and he truly adores it.
I can't comment on whether he would appreciate this from your part. My virgo and I love to help others and this is a fact he knows about me. So, it is not a surprise for him when I do thoughtful acts.
Honestly, I think it is a great match, we are like a team together and there is such a beautiful element of friendship among the two of us.
My virgo makes me feel grounded, I feel as if I can truly trust him. A miracle, since Scorpios do not trust easily.
And, I make him feel relaxed and to open up. He knows he can truly be himself with me.
Do know that virgo and scorpio used to be one sign...so now, I can understand the reason behind our strong similarities.
I will tell you this, be patient. This is very important. I can't stress this highly enough. There were many times I wanted to throw the towel, however, I kept observing him and the situation as a whole and now, things just keep getting better and better. :-)
Also, go with the flow (don't bombard him with futuristic questions about 'us' 'the relationship') and be secure.
Thanks.
Yes, I am also getting the impression that I will have to be patient with him. I am really anxious. It has been a really long time since I have met someonewho I really feel a connection with. Especialy, this strong so soon. My anxiety is not helping matters. Lol. But I will be patient and not let him know how anxious I am. Hopefully the anxiety will lessen in a few days. Lol.Signed Up:

I think it was a good thing of you to do.
I don't know how a normal Virgo would act in this case, but for me, my pride would prevent me from taking that unless I NEEDED it.

Sooo he thanked me for providing him with the financial aid information. I think he is going to look into it. This is going towards graduate lelvel courses. Which are a little over 40k a year. I dont think thath he has that kind of moeny lying around.
Last night we talked on the phone untill about 2:30AM. It was a very productive conversation. He started to open up. He asked me if I think my expectations of a man are realistic. He also talked to me about relationships in general. He said that he likes to be in a commited relationhip and that he does not understand why men wait around to commit to a woman. He said that he likes the idea of knowing someone is there who has your back. He also said that in the past he has gotten distrated while he was in a relationship b/c he put so much focus and energy into the relationship that other things did not get taken care of the way they ought to have been. He asked me my opninion on this. I told him that I think that one of the best things about a relationship is not someone distracting you or taking away your foucs but someone helping to keep you focused and on track. I gave him a few examples of what I meant. He then got real quiet. I think he was analyzing what I had to say. Then he asked me, "you read a lot huh?" I told him yes and he said that he likes that. He also discussed his religion a little as well. All in all, it was a very good conversation.
He is leaving town for a wedding today and will not be back until Sunday. Which sucks b/c next weekend I will be out of town. So, we really wont be able to spend much time together. But he offered to take me to the airpot next week. Obviously, I am going to take him up on his offer. I cant wait to see him! I have not been this excited about a guy in a LONG time. I just hope the feeling is mutual.

No Im not kidding! How much did you think it costs to go to grad school> The masters program that I am in costs a little ove 37k/yr.
Update...
Yesterday we talked during the day and had a really good convo. This weekend he was supposed to go out of town to be in a wedding on Saturday. Which sucked b/c i am going out of town next wkend and we would not be able to spend time togehter for 2 wks. Well he called yesterday and said that he arranged his plans so that he could spend Saurday night (after the wedding) and Sunday with me. Need less to say, I was happy. Then we talked again later last night and he was a little subdued and quiet. I also made a joke that I do not think he found too funny. i hope he does not think I was criticizing him. I just hope his mannerisms were a result of being tred after a long day.

Gradutae level...post grad. Not undergrad. But now that i think about it, my undergrauate school cost 33/yr. it is a private college.
