Guess what?

My mom, generally a peace maker has some sort of fight/difference of opinions/values clash/ego battle (In cap language A VERY BIG DRAMA) going on with her brother who is (unfortunately) another Sep. 15th born virgo.

My dad is a virgo too and as folks know I am surrounded by many virgos in life + one Scorp -- my mom.

Both my maternal uncle and mom are on the edge and I HAVE NEVER EVER SEEN MY MOM THIS FIERCE or angry/unemotional/dramatic. Looks like my mom will do what she wants and that is something my virgo uncle is gonna be emotionally (I think virgos are unemotional) hurt for a loooooooooooooooong time and will remember till the END ( per my mom's words!)

Never knew my mom is so strong! Am actually now scared of her - more than ever!

I will say- my uncle had done somethings in the past that were bit unappropriate and so far, every time my mom had given him a freeway and forgiven him. This time, for something he did which was not as bad as his previous deeds, my mom has decided to teach him a lesson.

So, who do we think will win? - A scorp or A virgo?

In my (wise cap opinion) BOTH are going to loose as I do not think upsetting loved ones make any one happy.

I never considered scorps being so much strong/powerful....Seeing new side of mom after these many years!

BTW- my "loyal" VIRGO dad is an observer (and I feel he is gonna be on my mom's side!)

I read 2008 is gonna be great for virgos looks like here it starts!

CapGirl .. below is what is hidden on the Scorp board ....

I think the Virgo has already won .. before it even started by having more emotional strength.

To say that you're mom is being fierce and dramatic is actually contrary to saying she's unemotional. The problem in this scenerio is that the Scorpio's Stinger has been drawn and unfortunately, this stinger doesn't have accurate aim, in most circumstances. And though the Scorpio would deny this .. it is indeed true. Once they find theirselves in this condition .. they lash out, yes, with fierceness, however, it is just flung in whatever direction is available to them, and it's this in which makes them weaker.

To send a troops of fierce soldiers into battle who aren't afraid of taking down the enemy isn't what wins the war ... who wins the war is the cool, calm, collected person who remain uneffected emotionally.

Here's an example of what I mean, according this mis-guided fierceness with The Stinger, and why it makes them weaker ..

"my uncle had done somethings in the past that were bit unappropriate and so far, every time my mom had given him a freeway and forgiven him. This time, for something he did which was not as bad as his previous deeds, my mom has decided to teach him a lesson."

A lesson in life comes from being reprimanded, held accountable for the actual deeds done, according to their severity of the crime/act. To allow a person to commit horrid acts, unpunished .. and then strike out hard against the person when a lessor act was committed isn't teaching a person a lesson at all.

It's like if you have a child ... this kid steals something from a store, but, you overlook it because your mood is good .. next day, he turns the television up too high, and you lash out to strike. This is NOT strength, Capgirl .. this is emotional weakness and does not teach the child right from wrong. What it teaches them is that the parent is a loose cannon and so should always walk on egg-shells around them, keep the door of communication closed ... so they can continue to do their bad deeds.

There is no lesson in here to learn from your mom to your uncle, for in his eyes, he will see that this is just "anger" being projected and not any principals .... for if it was about principals, then she would have struck out according to deeds, justly as appropriate.

She may win the small squirmish .. but, he was already the war by remaining unemotional.

And below is my second posting on the Scorpio board .....

I'll tell you, CapGirl, from my own experiences ...

Husband Virgo
Son Scorpio

Naturally, they fought, as we all do .... and some of the battles even came to physical blows (not many, thank goodness) .. in the end, it was always the Scorpio wreathing with fury, while the Virgo stood solid, uneffected .. and this was at the end ..

Meaning .. this fury in Scorp was now coming from the Virgo having absolutely no emotional effect from the fight. The Scorpio always conceded and backed away because he knew that no matter how angry he got, the Virgo was a solid cold wall that couldn't be emotionally torn down .... you could beat the holy living crap out of them, and still when they stand back up .... there is NO emotion.

CapGirl, we bitch in here all the time about the Virgo being robots. You know damn well that they cannot be given an emotional lesson.

Ok, I unhid it ...

I realized that it was worded wrong ... it shouldn't read that Virgo's have no emotions, or effects .. rather, they won't allow thier feelings to be effected from another person, trying to teach them lessons through anger.

The Virgo may indeed, sit back and ponder (which they do everything anyway) .. but, what I meant was .. not through a emotional manipulation. Like for instance, the fights between father and son. These were just the Scorpio venting out his anger, and not anything rational, so the Virgo isn't going to falter with his emotional stance of: Your emotional chaos isn't going to tear me down.

Does that make sense?

"for Virgos, our weakness lies sometimes in refusing to consider a different point of view"

I agree and disagree with this statement .. from my own experiences, I've learned that (my) Virgo is very receptive to diverse point of views .. however, it depends on how it's presented to him. It's all a matter of the intent in which you verbalize this POV. If it's for control, illogical or slanderous .. then mine will refuse to consider, also. However, if he comprehends that it's philosophizing with intent to gain new perspective for growth, he will eagerly wiegh out what was proposed to him.

You are different from many Virgo's in here. Many say the difference is maturity and I'm not certain I believe this, for there are many who are mature and still aren't like you. I'm thinking it's more about change. Though, Virgo's are mutable and say they are receptive to change and this is true .. however, it's the application that is the burden. I think you guys are quick to be able to see what adjustments are necessary, so this "change" is mainly mental ... it's applying it that makes the difference. There's so many things to wiegh out, the mind has to think in so many different directions regarding the process of this change .. and it takes a while to get it all in order, sometimes to the point of actually being able to put it in place to live.

And I think the big difference with you is that you've learned to go with the flow more readily ... let the chips fall, then sort them out if they are mis-aligned. In reality, this is better anyway because we can't control the chips that others throw at us .. but, we can put them in order once they've been laid.

please, I've never had trouble 'humbling' myself to being open to another view point, I might joke about how stupid is sounds but if it works for that person, than how can it be wrong?. how the hell can someone call themselves an 'intelligent being' if they can't be open and receptive and willing to grow; it kind of defeats the purpose of us being called 'mutables' if we fail at our most basic function no?; that's probably why Virgo is symbolically related to the 'female genitals' they supposed to be 'open' and outgoing. Just my thought...
