Social Gatherings?
I AM AWESOME.
I make a great hostess. I love love organizing and entertaining everybody. No one is allowed to stay in a corner and sulk.

My Virgo is well-rounded in that all of the above he can do with ease.
In a small crowd or large ... whether he's the guest or the host ... he's fine with all roles. By nature, he is double-natured when it comes to the company of other people .... he can be by himself for hours on end, or the life of a party. To wear many hats is something he does well.
Of course, there are events he doesn't want to attend, so the exception to the rule applies.
Mine has no problem whatsoever initiating contact with people he doesn't know yet. He can enter a bar and within an hour know everyone there.

So you'd rather have a "job" to do? Me too. Hosting is natural for me.
I kind of figured virgos were well rounded and could give or take either way. That's the impression I get anyway.

My guy has virgo moon and he is that way. He just prefers a very small group and likes manning the grill to keep busy.

Virgos, how are you at social gatherings? Would you rather have a "job" to do to keep busy? Would you rather participate in small talk? Would you prefer a large group or a small one? Do you like meeting new people or would you prefer to just hang with people you already know? Would you prefer to go to a social event or would you just prefer to stay at home?

I will chat up anyone and everyone and will make sure people are enjoying themselves.
I try not to come across as too..overbearing? It's just that I'm excited like a child when meeting new people, new subjects for me to probe into their minds 😄
I'm a Libra-Virgo cusper and I'm mostly antisocial. I'm more talkative in small intimate settings and 1-on-1s, and I'd rather stay indoors and play board games with a close group of friends than to attend a party where I don't know half the people.

Pretending to be something I'm not just to try it on to see if I enjoy it and see how others behave. This can only last a short while then I got bored. I like changing environment, changing crowds and changing scene. This doesn't mean I have tons of friends. Most of what I have is acquaintances. But if I got invited to a gathering or I host a gathering, I will make it my goal to know everybody there, even when it is not in my nature to do so. There will be pictures, I collect emails and will send them these pictures on their birthday or as an invite for the next gathering, etc, etc, etc.
Communications with others is like an outlet for me to de-stress.
