Have you ever met a new person and you knew instantly that the two of you would be great friends? There was just this connection, the moment you shook hands and were introduced. You don't know why you two were drawn . . you just were and now you have a good friend, for life.
Have you ever just known something, your gut instincts talked to you and the instinct was correct . . it knew?
Have you ever had deja-vu . . your intuition knows things beyond what our conscious mind can even begin to comprehend.
Our souls just know things and it drives us towards people, vocations, items, situations . . sometimes, it's so powerful within us that it gives us waking visions. And that's just "ONE" soul, our own.
So, wouldn't it be logical to believe that if there were "TWO" souls, you and your soulmate, with all this power . . that they would be drawn together and nothing in this physical world would be able to stop it?
Wouldn't a force that strong be like magnets, and these two souls wouldn't have a choice, except subconsiously move in this world toward each other?
I have had that moments with certain people... i somehow knew they would have an impact on my life the second i saw them... and guess what... about 97% of the time i have been right...
Thus far I have had with these many individuals: -Friendship based on the same views -Our desk end up next to one another at work -We end up loving one another (not necessarily romantically but virguy was an exception lol) -End up having the same ethnic background -Looking for the same thing in life along with many other things
One friend I have, the way we met was truly strange!
She worked in her dads fruit store... one day I saw her and for some strange reason I looked at her a little longer than I usually would another person, for no reason and she did the same with me... well, a week later we started at the same IT course at the same campus in the same class!!!!!!!!! We had never spoken or seen one another before that day at her dads fruit store.
I still say hello whenever I go my the fruit store now, that was almost 5 years ago lol
And yet . . we never find our "soulmate". How is that possible? Like in your account of meeting your friend . . you were drawn together, you had no control over it.
So, how can there be a "soulmate", the one and only person to whom you were suppose to born unto? I guess it's like religion in this aspect . . just believe without any support of evidence. But, that seems so delusional. Don't think I can do that.
Sometimes, I can pick up the phone before it ever rings to know who's on the other end, but, that can't gravitate towards my Twin Flame . . doesn't make sense to me.
your logic makes sense to me.. i do believe there is a deep connection you can have with someoen but not ONLY that one person, you can have the same connection with many people.
And yes... i too pick up the phone knowing who it is.. and the moment i start to think about a certain person and call them... they say they were just thinking about me!
My Vigguy friend, whenever i start thinking about him, he suddenly appears, calls or makes a major announcment hehe
I would love to believe there is that one and only person... but thus far i havent seen anything to convince me that its true, no logical evidence....To me your argument is valid.
For some people there is a soulmate. I think I'm getting impatient with the idea now. I'm 26 and where is HE—?? Does he even exist for me? Then the reality sets in, maybe he doesn't exist for me.
It is something to hold onto... because so many questions about life cannot be answered, and as inquisitive as humans are, we NEED answers... so we make them up as a society and all is good. (Like God, and like "The ONE")
It gives comfort to those who cannot just live without knowing the answers.
And I think I've said this before too, about the Aries girl, if it doesn't last, whoopty doo-dah-day... there's more women out there. Maybe sounds like I'm being negative? But I like to refer to it as being REAL.
So I guess the real point I'm making is: Just enjoy every moment. Enjoy your inquisitive moments, enjoy your emotional moments, enjoy your analytical moments, enjoy your love-making moments, enjoy your parting moments, enjoy it all.
Maybe people in general should stop answering questions where the answers are different for everyone? Like: What is love? What is the meaning of life? Is there "The One"? etc... The answers to those questions will have different answers based on who you ask. Many will have similar answers, many will have no answers, and many will have answers that deviate from the norm.
soulmates exist. it's part of oneself. we have one heart one soul. it's not an illusion based on God's fiction. we choose the person we want to give our heart and soul completely, in that way that person becomes our soulmate.
others see love as a disease, others they see it as a blessing.
