Since Valentines is right around the corner, I thought it'd be sweet to share some of your favorite beautiful songs (doesn't have to be love songs, btw). Feel free to post as many times as you like 🙂

I remember teaching myself how to play the first half of this as a little girl. I really need to get back into the piano (-_-) it was so mellowing...

I posted that vid on here a few months ago, and admitted I cried like a baby.

The girl in the classroom at the beginning did it for me.

Fast forward to about 2:40 but DEFINITELY STAY FOR THE ENDING!!!!!!!

and yes, I'm listening to yours--always open to new music, especially since I don't listen to the radio. I get so many new wonderful songs to add to my collection from other people's recommendations sometimes.

lol we both got errors I guess. Yes that's me playing a song I wrote for a scorp. Thanks again.

Ugh, mental note to self: if you get an error message, don't keep retrying; it probably went through...

My little brother had to play this song in junior high (he played violin) and hearing him play it over and over again made me hate it for a while, lol. Years later, I've learned a new appreciation for it.

And man oh man do I want to learn guitar. It would bump my emo chick status up so much...

I never listened to Debarge before (I think he was popular in the 80s? what did I know about music then? lol)
But this song is beautiful. Only criticism I have is he sings it like Herbert, from "Family Guy", like he has denture problems...

Lol I'm glad I posted it then. Bloc Party is a great band, but this song is just... ugh. It has one of my favorite verses:

Head on my chest, a silent smile
A private kind of happiness
You see giant proclamations are all very well
But our love is louder than words

It just gives me chills, and I can relate to it with every person I've ever felt strongly about.

It's because you and I have good taste. Obviously. 😄
