The truth .........

This came to mind from something said on the Pisces board ... and it has my mind spinning because it's not suppose to be .....


The truth hurts.


Why?


Why should truth be painful? If truth is painful, if it hurts ... then is it logical to assume that a fib isn't painful/hurtful?

What does this mean?

That ego supercedes your brain in what is a priority to nurture?

Truth is the collection of facts that stretch from the eternity and to the eternity, impossible to change, and sometimes heart breaking to follow.




Shattered dreams are usually called the painful truth experience thou.

Aahhhh, I see .. so truth is realized, however pushed aside, as if it isn't in existence ... because it may be too difficult or 'real' to face .... so, life becomes a bliss, in never having to deal with it .. to only, as you say, take an ass chunk when the inevitable cannot be denied any longer.


So, in truth .... truth really doesn't hurt at all .. what hurts is what we've done to ourselves because we refused to face it.

This is exactly right. I guess it all comes down to different stages of human development, and what stage each individual is at. The truth rarely hurts me, If I have been in a period of failing to see the truth then when it does come out, I see this as enlightenment and a lesson learned...To me, the truth is always a positive thing. I really don't know why some people run & hide from the truth, it's honestly not that scary...People's fears make it seem so much worse than it really is.

I was at a spiritual workshop & meditation day recently, in which an interesting concept regarding fear was brought up. FEAR = False Evidence Appearing Real. (it's all an illusion).

Hahaha 🙂 it all comes down to perspective, really...Just putting my thoughts out there for anyone that's interested 🙂 As always, I say: Take from it what you want, and leave the rest!!
