It appears to me, basing this off of several threads, one of which is my generosity thread ... that Virgos cannot handle the truth about themselves.

It's normal to find a Virgo speaking highly of themselves with much pride about being upholders of the truth, and detesting liars ... but, then lie themselves and to themselves, while creating excessive drama when the truth is presented to them .... which I can only presume the reason being is to attempt to deflect this truth about them away, no nobody will notice that they actually cannot handle the truth about themselves.

Which also brings to mind another thing .. drama. They will proclaim vehemently, in many cases, to hate drama ... but, then be the ones who create it .. and usually because of what was said above.

Kinda like you lie about having a deep seated hatred of Virgos and Geminis? Never wanting to face the truth that you purposefully hunt Gems and Virgs to pick fights? How DOES that mirror look that reflects back your own pot stirring, drama loving, 52 year old leather face previously beaten by a Gem and denied sex by a Virg? Is it pewter? Gold trim? Wrought iron? I do love iron accents on mirrors....

You can find the same qualities in pisces, just in different areas.

Dear Vulcan,

Hell no!! I am not through with this thread of "truth". In fact, let's actually begin to discuss some things that are in deed true...

1. Pisser loves me, GemsRa. She flicks her bean and clicks her mouse to my image.
2. Pisser may only have seven teeth in her head, but she manages to eat her chocolate Malt-o-Meal just fine.
3. It has been said that the black hole created by Pisser's negative energy is where scientists plan to deposit unstable nuclear bombs.
4. Pisser has such minimal power and lacks any actual substance that her words here on the boards are little more a laughable matter to most.
5. Pisser may occassionally have something insightful to say, but even a broken clock is right twice a day. Nevertheless, that's not the clock I want to time my life by.
6. Geminis and Virgos fuggin rule, if only for the fact that their very existance on this lovely planet cause Pisser physical discomfort.

Love, hugs, kisses and light,

GemsRa

Awwww baby, I'm just making an observation of concern about your observations of concern about my observations and concerns about Pisser's observations and concerns. Let's all discuss shall we? It's obvious you want to be just as much a part of this ridiculousity by making a response about not responding. Passive agressiveness at it's best. Now who doesn't give a rat's ass?

Listen, try not to respond. I'm just stirring shit up anyway... AND... I'm woman enough to admit that I'm only doing it for my own fun. In the open. No screen shot from TyDyed needed.

Wanna debate about nothing all day, but go ahead and in the beginning state that we don't care? All the best debates end that way anyway... pages and pages of ranting and raving and swaying and attempting to conform... all to later post about how we don't care.

I'll just go ahead and tell you now... I don't care. I'm siting in my hotel room, on yet another business trip, listening to clients talk about boring shit all while playing on DXP, facebook and twitter. You wanna be my bright shiny thing on dxp for a couple hours?

Go right ahead. 😄

Do you hold yourself accountible for this humble, non assuming way when you are speaking a truth to another?

Or does it come out taking the tone of a critcal, accusing nature?

It takes a conscious effort to assert it in the humble non assuming way.
However, there will be times when we we are upset or tired, and it comes out critical.

Accusations are a different story all together.

I do see where the finger is pointing, but that is where instinct steps in.
Anger takes over and that's when Virgos lash out. Like a defensive mechanism.

It is only later when I calmed down and go back to analyse what was said can we start piecing things together.

The mature acknowledge, learn, apologise if they lashed out and move forward.
The ignorant ignore and persist.

Dear 8lb17oz Baby Jebus!!!!!!!!!

Cajun, you can't seriously be trying to have a sane conversation with "She who shall not be named".

Listen up Pisser, I see you weaving your web. Trying to spin it so delicately that you can pull that trap tight and attempt to prove your point. Here's what.... everyone has a hard time waking to harsh truths about themselves. It's called self realization and growth and it doesn't have a flipping thing to do with astrology.

Just like your misguided hatred of Geminis and Virgos really has nothing to do with astrology. Gems and Virgs and yes, even the fishes CAN all get along. It isn't your sun sign that made the men in your life hate you; it's your piss poor attitude on... well, everything.

Now I ask you....

If you lash out at someone because a defensive mechanism made you angry .. isn't it your job to fit the pieces?

Most people don't apologize ... I've only met a few people in this world who can admit they are wrong and apologize. I am one of those people.

I'm not sure where the anger part comes in to play. Do you mean angry because the truth exists? Or angry because someone other than yourself notices it? Or angry because .. what?

Why anger, to even make a person lash out in this defensive mechanism?

Well after all these years P...you still have it to bring such bitter and angry emotions to these boards lol. There must be an award for that. 😉

These people are already full bitterness and angry emotions, VGM, I merely open the door for them by showing them the truth about themselves.

The never has been pretty.

Most people are mature enough to take what is beneficial and step aside from what isn't .. but, the ones who are consumed with malice are unable to, and those are the ones you see in here, incapable of helping themselves do anything different once I open the door to their psyche.

I did'nt finish re-wording my sentence. I've been accused of speaking for all Virgos, so I was re-wording it to myself.
It should read I

If you lash out at someone because a defensive mechanism made you angry .. isn't it your job to fit the pieces?

Indeed it is.
I let go of my pride and make amends, but only if I can see and understand where I am wrong.

In my immaturity, I often would'nt care and would just let those people phase out of my life. I saw them as owing to me.

Most people don't apologize ... I've only met a few people in this world who can admit they are wrong and apologize. I am one of those people.

Are you?

I am and I try to be. It is always a battle with pride though.

Angry because someone else notices it and brings it across in a "perceived" harsh or aggressive way.
Our sensitivity and perception often betrays us, going on body language, tone and what was said.

Life is about learning our faults and fighting off our instincts, to be better people and not give into our selfishness and insecurities, in my point of view.

I don't agree with the fighting off the instincts part, however, I get what you mean since these instincts make you want to express anger. I find myself completely opposite to that in that I don't get angry hardly at all, and have to force myself to get mad, when needed.

To be better people and not give in to selfishness and insecurities is a big one to learn in life ... so since we are talking about facing the truth of ones self, wouldn't it be better to own these, rather than not?

Maybe the whole reason why people cannot handle the truth is because they think that to face them is to be them.

It's possible to look at if you are selfish or insecure, for this very growth, without having to be those things.

A testament to being polar opposites, perhaps?

To be better people and not give in to selfishness and insecurities is a big one to learn in life ... so since we are talking about facing the truth of ones self, wouldn't it be better to own these, rather than not?

To own the truth?
It is, but it takes personal insight and strength to do so.

Maybe the whole reason why people cannot handle the truth is because they think that to face them is to be them.

Not certain of your meaning here.

To be the truth which upsets them?

What I meant was .... if a person faced a part of themselves, the truth about themselves on a a particular trait .. then they might feel like they HAVE to be that.

Like, hypothetically, what if you were struggling to with your sexuality ... and it scard you that you might be one way or the other, and you couldn't the truth of it, because if you looked at the fact that like men, then you might HAVE to be queer.

In that scenario, just because you like men, doesn't mean you HAVE to be anything of the sort. It isn't a requirement that you be any way what so ever, just because a part of the truth about you is that you like men.

Life is about choices, and our choices are influenced by so many things.

I agree, just because you realise a truth, doesn't mean you have to live it. It's your choice whether or not to fight it or be it.

a dig that's not a dig but is a dig? HA!

on a side note, the dude with the gay avi IS maturing. he is not responding defensively and long ago, he would have.

overall, i think what he's said is very true of virgo. every sign has to learn how to accept that their positives have a negative. in an immature state, it's difficult to distinguish one from the other. in a mature state, you learn to recognize when you're operating in the negative far more readily. the negative will never go away, you simply learn how to not allow those energies to overcome you.

with respect to immature virgos, i think perceptions of harm in the face of truth are a struggle. the response to criticism is anger, hypocrisy, blaming, defensiveness, evasion and distance.

virgo needs to learn how to do away with "yeah, well what about you?"

i think this is sorta what crypticfish is trying to communicate. very simply, how does this "saintly" sign learn how to accept/acknowledge its own imperfections? as the sign of "perfection," wouldn't it stand to reason they'd have difficulty OPENLY accepting/acknowledging imperfection within themselves?

what's cool for me is that in knowing tons of virgos and now pisces, it's easier to see where each has the potential to go wrong...

virgo forgives your faults. you're imperfect, but they'll "fix" you. ie, "how can YOU be better?"
but you'll never be perfect and this leads to hurt and resentment for both the virgo and the other.

pisces apologizes for theirs. you're imperfect, but pisces will "fix" themselves. ie, "how can I be better?"
but they'll never be perfect and this leads to hurt and resentment for both the pisces and the other.

what if virgo learned how to apologize and face the reality that virgo is NOT perfect? ie, face the truth.

lack of perfection does not make virgo imperfect. insistence of and on perfection does.

a "perfect" state is unachievable, even by you and by virtue of this reality, it gradually becomes easier to stop pointing at others "lack of" and acknowledge your own shortcomings.

"i'm sorry."

"it was my fault"

"i was wrong."

i think the more that virgo learns to embrace these concepts, the better they will be in relationships.

My question is for all virgo men. why is it that when cancer women share our deepest secrets with yall in the mix of an argument you throw it back in our face knowing that it gonna hurt us. Why are virgo men so critical with there words towards women is it that there trying to intentionally hurt us in the worse possible way. How do virgo men really feel about a cancer woman. Sometime i feel that virgo men dont appreciate a good cancer woman who does any and everything for them and this is why we get crushed at the end. Why do virgo men feel that cancer women are sneaky and that we are cheaters, like do they really misunderstand cancer woman because we are sometimes shy or we hold back alot? i need answers.
