What was the biggest thing u discovered about your sign when u first started studying astrology, that u decided was so spot on, and related so incredibly well to you, that you decided "damn, there must be some truth to this"
for me, it would have to be the first time i read an extensive analysis on virgo written by an amazing author and astrologer (too bad i cant remember the name anymore) and amidst it was an excerpt explaining virgos rulership of the hands. this pulled me in because im ambidextrous, a trait that is not very common. also, the nervous system rulership raelly spoke to me, because i have several nervous issues (minor tourettes syndrome and tremors) and anxiety problems, which i am on medication for. i remember thinking it was so eery accurate.
i don't know. Was just observing my world and the people in it and everything just sort of clicked.. people really do display the traits of their signs, and to extremes.
i'm pretty good at guessing peoples signs once ive gotten to know them
When my stepfather (a Virgo as well) was trying to console me from my mother's (Taurus) constant criticizing me of me carrying a book everywhere as a child, and he told me "you're a real Virgo kid, alright--don't listen to her, there's nothing wrong with reading" and gave me a conspiratorial grin as he showed me the book HE had hidden from her in his pocket, LOL. I loved knowing it was normal for my sign to be such a bookworm, because boy was I...
I always had this uncanny memory and I would often recall things other people had long forgotten. Most memory based exams were fairly easy for me. When I started reading up on Virgos, good memory was what stuck out.
The Virgoanian stare was what caught me.. I mean I just thought the analytical, introverted, and really sexual part of me was just something that anyone could have.. Though when I herd about the stare, I couldn't stop laughing at how awesome this was, the ambidextrous thing.. Not too sure, I can safely say I suffer from learned helplessness when it comes to math so I probably could excel at math. My semantic memory is unusually better than anyone I've met so far so that's another trait. And the fact that I love psychoanalysis just stacks more truth to Astrology.
Perfectionism. I saw it definitely in myself, other Virgo friends and Virgo celebrities, etc. There was no denying it whatsoever. Everything usually has to be just so.
Unfortunately it may have been what Linda Goodman said about Virgos (especially males) being unlucky in love: I have tried so hard to fight this but it does sometimes seem to be my lonely destiny.
