Virgo/Aries Disaster

I just got out of a relationship with an Aries yesterday, and to put it lightly, it was devastating. We were together for fourteen months, and shared a lot of dreams and ambitions together. We wanted to have a family together, but something terrible went wrong.

She critisized me. It wasn't the first time she had ever done it, and I just got so fed up with dealing with her. And so I gave her some of her own medicine back (as artfully as us Virgos do it), and she couldn't take it. It damaged her pride, and the relationship ended right there and then.

Has anybody else ever been in a relationship with an Aries? Any tips for how to get over this as quickly as possible - the pain is surreal because we were doing so well, and I thought we were happy, and I felt secure (something essential for me) and then this came up. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Also, for future reference, what is your take on the best signs to date for a female Virgo? I'm looking for security, somebody with a big heart, can be slightly protective, but not to the point of being ridiculous. I was thinking maybe a Cancer - but like I said, I need a little bit of advice.

The past signs that I've dated that didn't work out: Aries, Aquarius, Saggitarius, Libra, Taurus, Virgo.

I might try here later. I tried yesterday, but she was too angry to work things out. I took blame for the things said, and she just kept putting me down and making me seem lower than herself. It's been getting harder over the past few months, but I still care about her.

Actually, we strongly avoid conflicts. At least I do, for the most part. I'm pretty sure the rest of them do as well...unless I'm just totally wrong about that. Earth signs like there to be peace and security surrounding them. When something hits a nerve though, I get pretty touchy. I could blame that on my Gemini Moon and Mars, who supposedly make great debaters. *whistles* But I just seriously can't stand ignorance. Otherwise I would wave it off with a brush-off reply, and that would be that.

fallenangel: I can just share my personal experience with Arians...I'm a straight virgo female. Hopefully it will shed some light/help you.

I personally but heads with Aries in one on one relationships and never figured it out till the death of my uncle who was aries...(we had a lot of communication issues) at the end, we did not talk to each other period. He died 5mths later from a heart attack. And we were not on speaking terms. I was willing to let things go...he felt he did nothing wrong and I should be kissing his ass and beg forgiveness. He criticized me too...unforgivably. In conversations which were usually quite intellectual he always wanted his point of view to be heard the most. Great guy in general just "but" heads 8/10 times.

2. I dated one recently and it lasted for 5wks. He was bossy, chaotic...difficult to make plans in advance and stick to them, easily bored, his longest relationship was 1yr. Brash...

On a good note I've found this arian to be honest, try to stick to his word, gets angry easily but don't stay angry, fun/energetic/spontaneous...and draws me out of my shell.

The most passionate romantic affair I've had was with a cancer. I would do it again!

If there is any truth to astrology...aries and virgo should not attempt a love relationship if they are looking for "the one". I tried it and realized it's a joke. A fling, Yes. They are NOT compatible period! They can make it as friends, but not lovers in a committed relationship. Both will feel uneasy most of the time.

According to one great book in history...The Bible, God is described as a holy trinity. There is God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit (neither male/female...immortal, invisible)...yet all ONE. So, God is actually a Spirit...since the holy trinity is ONE. He does not have a penis, vagina etc. Never heard of him suffering from PMS, Menopause either...and todate I'd say God must be pretty old...lol.Nothing suggesting "female" anyway. However, the Hindu's will not eat Beef as a Cow is sacred to them and some Hindu's will go as far as saying Cow is their God. Buddhists have a philosophy...rather and their hero is Buddha. For many, God is nature...the trees, the birds etc. And for so many of us who are materialist we will worship our money in a heart beat...and that's our god. You'd be surprised what some people's gods are...and don't laugh, that's their god! Can you imagine being out on a date with a Hindu...and you had no idea that he would scouf at you eating a burger. Then he adds, "how could you eat beef, that's my God!" well, it happened to me and I could not freak out about it, just respect it and add, "If you had told you that offended you I'd have ordered chicken". But, inside...I was shocked, actually I was cracking up. I really did not know.

The Bible and even the Koran influenced many cultures to force women to be subservient/inferior to men. According to history, Mary found Jesus's grave empty and told his followers (the chosen 12) he had risen. They did not believe her, because it was coming from "a woman's mouth" according to history, not religion here. Today, our word is just as good as a man. We've come a far way. This is the 21st Century and anything a man do, I say we "women" can do it better! Could God be famale...absolutely! However, we were taught otherwise since we were kids...in fact that's called "indoctrination".

So, is God a man or woman? I'd say God is whatever "you" perceive your God to be.

And by the way I am a Christian. But, I try to look at things from other people's point of view, in an effort to understand how they arrived at the conclusions they did. I choose my path, and my decisions are mine alone. I came into this world alone and I will return the same.

I find that at times on this site, some people are either quick to judge, "impose" their sometimes uneducated or selfish views instead of sharing facts or life experiences. Let's be nice to each other, honest and as unbiased as possible...understanding that "NO ONE KNOWS IT ALL"...that's why I'm here...to learn from all of you.

Togetherness is the meaning of life ?one can not be without the existence of the opposite side?, same old story of the chicken and egg!

And about being in love, anyone can be in love with what ever they wish for be it piece of stone or vegetables or animals or human and whatever gender, you guys are pretty much wrong about the concept of love.

I am still one of the very few (if not the only) example in this stupid site who lived with an Aries woman long enough to say that they are simply great and challenging, honest, beautiful, fiery, intelligent, sexy, bossy but agreeable most of the time.

I don't believe in astrocrap, but since you guys are so damn busy with this concept I would rather say ?TRY IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT? but try it and experience it on your own and don't weigh and judge the ?pros and cons? by other people's point of view and advices!

Yes I agree with you......there is alot of judging that goes on in here.....I also come here to learn from other people although I don't like what I've seen so far....I always try to be courteous of other people except for the mean ones.......but here most people seems hell bent ( no pun) on arguing all the time
