Virgo guy opened up and then closed up again

I've made a post about him before but I've been thinking. He's become really distant and cold and I'm so confused. For a while he had been talkative and he'd ask me questions and my opinion on some things and he'd tell a lot of stories about himself. Then I believe, that one day we had been talking and this girl came up and asked if we were dating and I said 'no' then the girl said 'oh' walked off. When she was gone he said 'Wow that was really awkward'
I did somewhat the same. I introduced him my friend instead of my boyfriend even after talking about being exclusive. Not sure if he noticed or not....I'm sure he did.
I'm confused with mine too since he's so unemotional. It's either up or down. I shouldn't read into it so much. He calls me everyday but I still worry. On his good days he seems to open up when his happy and excited.
@Gemini74 Yeah my virgo guy does that as well when he's happy. We're not together just friends. I meant to add more to this but after he said that I started laughing to make the mood lighter you know because it was a bit awkward because I do like him but I don't know how he feels towards me. Then after my nervous fit of laughter he finished what he was saying and wasn't as talkative anymore after that. Or maybe it was before that when he became distant but this event really made him distant. But the point is I understand why he suddenly became closed off. I want someone to explain what I could have did wrong. What are the things that make virgo people distant and cold?
Virgo men are enigmas. I think that once they say something, they immediately "process" it in their mind, & if their statement is found lacking in any way (to them) they have no problem ditching it.
the rest of us are still digesting what they said, unaware that they have moved on mentally. It's that Mercury thing - lightning fast, analytical & not hanging on to anything for very long.
And don't they seem "befuddled" when we bring up something they once said. We took it to heart. Silly us!
