Virgo Male Used The L Word...

I have been friends with a virgo male, he's the text book virgo that most read about but i'm confused, we joke around a lot so i asked him would he be my valentine and his answer was of course I will, I tell him he's so sweet to me and he says I love you too....now I know from what I read on dxp virgo men are complicated, well this virgo seems to be a bit different.

Again nothing intimate has happened between us outside of a meeting of the minds, yes we can talk for hours and yes he mostly does all the talking lol...what do you fellow veteran's make of this, of course I didn't text him back b/c I don't know what to say after him saying the L word, I'm an Aqua female and feelings kind of scare of me too.

Has anyone encountered a virgo saying I love you in the beginning of developing a friendship?

Now I feel all weird inside, i guess i should let it pass and not deal with it...

If you guys are friends then he means i love you in a friendship kinda way. i promise you he's not in love with you but i bet he's been thinking about what he said. He probably thinks you took it the wrong way. I wouldnt start acting all werid towards him just act like nothing is wrong and continue on the path you were on. I say i love you alot but sometimes it means nothing i say it in a joking way or because i want my way and most people can read the reason behind it.

yeah most likely....if you guys were joking around....and he was joking around with you....then it meant nothing..h....when he's staring at you dead in your eyes and looking serious and is quite close to you and he says that ....then it means something...lol

but most likely it was in a friendly way........I say, yeah I love you too ....to my friends when they are joking around with me.....because I really do appreciate their friendship

he probably meant it on friendly terms. my virguy friends and acquaintances tell me they love me ALL the time. nonstop.

thanks guys, we talked again and i acted as if it didn't happen, we jus picked up the conversation as normal, i appreciate his frienship and wouldn't want to mess it up, so i lurk on the virgo board a lot and i know some of you are like experts on the virgo male, frienship is totally important to me because i have so few male friends as it is. I was unsure b/c i hear a lot of women complain that virgo men have a hard time expressing feelings so him opening up quickly on an emotional level sort of threw me off a bit. I will take the L word as a friendly gesture and see it as him being comfortable with me to express himself.
