Virgo man /W Aries girl

Im currently dating an Aries and although I love her company and we have a great time together there are times I want to bang my head against the pervibal wall. Anyone have any insight to this combination?

And exactly why would this Aries make you want to bang your head against the pervibal wall?

The other day I met her for dinner after she got off work, she had hurt her wrist somehow and it was very sore, the minute I tried to say/give/show any compassion she gets all offended as if I'm being condescending.

lol, namor .. my Virgo husband feels the same way about our DIA .. sometimes, he can't take it and it drives him nuts.

With the wrist thing .. she wasn't looking for you to go, "Oh poor baby, are you alright", or something similiar to show compassion. What she was looking for your admiration at how strong she is .. she made it to dinner with a smile on her face, eventhough she was injured.

"Wow, baby .. you're my little tough girl."

They don't want pity when they express an injury or any kind of set-back in life, they want you to be impressed with their diligence and strength.

Oh, and another thing .. if she's anything like my daughter-in-law, which she does sound like from what you said about the wrist .. "mysterious" events will occur often, for this reason.

thanks for the replys. The injury is no mystery, and I know she would never do anything like that just for attention, of that I am sure. I have never really dealt with an aries like her, Super type A personality, strong willed, confidant, analyzing, many outstanding qualities.

This is pretty much the first aries girl and even though i've dated a few type A personalites, they were either Taures, or Leo's. I prefer dating a strong willed woman, If I ask a woman what she wants to do for a date I want an answer not "what ever you want to do" that drives me nuts. As far as her intelligents, wow, I am well read in many subjects but she blows me away, she challanges my mind and thought process and that is so cool. of course 8 years of psychology will do that 😉 About the only subject I can talk about and make her eyes roll up is anything computers.

Its actually nice to date a woman like this for a change, usually I'll date/meet the type that seem to have a confidence problem and my virgo nature wants to take over. She's quite aware of our differences and has said she couldn't believe I havent run away screaming, I guess men she's met rairly make it past a single date.

I undertand about drive, this woman is always on the go, but she knows and gives me my space so things seem to be working out.

In my experience with Aries girl, one very close to me the other not so much, they put on a very strong will on the outside and they are quite sensitive and passionate on the inside. However the similarity is they use some of their aggressiveness and strong-will to mask some of their insecurities.

Queenscorpio, my Aries is a very passionate woman, man-o-man is she, if she has any insecurities she's hidden them so well I may never find them. well, there may be one but she gives so little information about her emotional states that its pure speculation on my part.

well, im so damn confused, I'd swear Im dating a dang vulcan!

Aries girl and I went out on the 27th, just a quick dinner after she got off work then browsed around B&N for a CD for my sisters bday. It was a nice evening, We chatted again on the 1st, but I didnt see her over the weekend, she had "stuff" to do. So I bought this halmark card this weekend and wrote a short poem with my feelings and drove over this evening and put it on the winshield of her car at her work

( can't deliver it to her home since Im not allowed there nor know where it is) another story for another time

So I waited eagerly for her to get off work and see the card, Im parked about 30 ft away, as close as I could (gym parking lot) she comes out, sees the card, gets in her car and drives off. no phone call, doesn't even look around. So im thinking that went over like a lead balloon.

get home, im online checking mail, text her and say "wow i was hoping for a call or something" then started chatting online with some friends, and she pops up on YIM and says thanks for the card. I said I was hoping she would have called when she saw the card, she said nope, wouldn't have called even if she had her phone with her. Her only comment was she couldn't believe I let her walk away. 😢

I know that chatting online can be hard since you don't get the inflections, tones and expressions like you do in person, but I swear she's got no emotions this time and could have cared less if I had given her the card or not.

So much for the virgo trying to be romantic.

namor .. you didn't believe me when I insinuated before .. so, now I'll be blunt ..

.. Aries loves the attention of drama .. to have thanked you would be comforting, curteous .. however, to ignore it causes an uproar in you emotionally .. or, at least, that was the aim.

Think about that .. why would someone be so indifferent over something that special? Answer: To cause adverse emotional spikes.

ok let me address a couple things, first, I have not been to her house, she has a son age 26 that moved back in after a financial/girlfriend disaster, and is saving money back up to get his own place. Aries girl said she didn't want to cause any discontent/awkward situations, I have no reason to not believe her at this time so I havent pushed. I find it very strange but she's Puerto Rican and it may be a cultural thing!

I can go to her work, Shes a fitness instructor at a large nation wide chain and does classes at several locations around town. This location is very busy and the only place to park was very far away. I didn't sit or wait at her car since it is patrolled and they dont like people just hanging around and im not a member, so I sat in my car.

maybe im asking to much, but had someone left me a card with a heart felt note I would have called and said thanks then, not waiting hours later, Had I not been online she would have not said anything at all. Besides, I did call to ask how she liked the card and got her voice mail

DearDiary, In not sure she as ever called me, unless it was when we were to meet and I was caught in traffic and late.

well, damn i feel dumb, just had a long chat with aries girl, first her damn phone won't charge so she hasn't been keeping it with her, no wonder my calls havent been returned. and of course she would not tell me she was having a problem with it until i brought up the "no returned calls" or answering the phone to start with, How very Aries is that!

I also now understand why I was getting the feeling she was being distant.

First let me preface this with two things, she hates dealing with confusion and stress and I have had alot of work related stress, so she has been giving me space to get my crap together, of course not telling me that was what she was doing did nothing but add to the stress. LOL anyway, lots of stuff cleared the air, I feel better, we'll see how saturday night goes.
