Virgo men and anger

Something weird has been going on with my Virgo crush at work lately and I'd love a little insight. Since I've known him, he's been Mr. Laid Back Hard Worker Nose to the Grindstone. When our company did an acquisition last month, he did 98 hours of overtime in the first two weeks. He wasn't compensated as well as some of us, so I think that was the first thing to make him angry. Then I heard him negotiating with the boss for some extra office space, things like that, and the boss was kind of putting him off like, we'll talk about it later kind of thing. On Friday, they got into a huge blowout and the boss threatened to fire my crush, in front of the whole office. They went outside and talked and everything seemed okay. Then I heard that they got into a similar dust up this morning, before I got in, and the boss made the same threat. I saw them outside later and everything seemed okay. The boss is a Gemini, also seemingly very laid back and easy-going. When I saw my Virgo all red faced and upset, I was kind of shocked. I'm kind of worried about him and I feel like there's something outside of work that might be causing this. Virgos don't seem like the type to risk a really great job over little things, so what's your take on this? Is it just stress? He's been normal/extra nice with me lately. I can't figure it out....

These aren't "little things". you do not ever belittle or reprimand an employee in front of fellow staff. working that many hours and not getting paid? that's illegal as hell unless he is salary..
Correct me if I am wrong but I have heard virgos work better as the boss than as an employee, especially if said boss doesn't respect them or others in the work place. Gem boss better watch his back.

Check my post again--READ IT--I never said "little." I totally agree that he busted his be-hind and should have been compensated better than the rest. He is salaried but so are the people in my department. I think he got screwed. I understand his anger, just not why he lost his cool. I've just never seen him do that. He mouthed off to the boss and I do think stress contributed to that, as well as lack of sleep. It is so un-Virgo-like to show that much emotion, and so un-Gemini-like to be the way the boss was on Friday and today. I guess it's all just left me puzzled and wondering if there's something in the stars. I know there's some grand-cross or something happening astrologically. Bottom line is that I don't want my crush to get fired. I wish I knew what to do or say, but I'm almost afraid because all of the emotions seem so raw and macho. That's the only way I know how to put it. As a Capricorn, I don't have a big fear of conflict, but this is just kind of scaring me...

Okay, I guess I just meant little in his asking for some extra office space. That doesn't seem like the root cause of his anger. Deep down, I think he really puts his heart and soul into this job and I actually don't even think it's about the money or the extra space. I think what he really wants above all else is acknowledgement and I don't think he's getting it. He told me he was so tired he was hallucinating, like he felt like he was half awake, half asleep and not in his right mind. I tried to do nice things to pamper him and just take his mind off the stress for a bit. I think it's the pressure that's driving everyone at work a bit crazy. I wish I knew what to do...

Yes, CC, I want to. There's just so little time. He was so sweet to me just before the fight with the boss on Friday. He was telling me all about his plans for making things better in the office. You should see all the color coded charts and blueprints in his office! They're so Virgo and one of the many things that make me crazy for him. Lately, I've been giving him space because I've been insanely busy and so has he. When we do get to chat, I try to take his mind off work. I feel almost like I should talk to the boss because I have a good rapport with him and I have a Gemini moon. I'm also close with our other boss, who's a Capricorn like me, and who I think has a little crush on me. I almost feel like telling them to step off and be nicer to my crush. In some ways, I think they're a bit jealous of him. Just call it my feminine intuition, but they seem to be so hard on him sometimes when I don't think they should.

You did state that. hence why both of us said that same phrase.
Virgos can and do get pissed. Everyone can and does get pissed, toss Astrology aside. If you got treated that way wouldn't you be pissed? As a salaried employee sadly you do get taken advantage of at times, if you don't put your foot down. Sounds like everyone is stressed.
As for speaking up for him, don't even though you really want to, it can cause more issues. Just let him know you are there if he needs anything.

We are better as second in command, not the leader. We aren't good leaders.

Rest assured if he is at the brink with this job, he's already looking for another job. Doesn't matter, he'll find something he will excel at, but he will exhaust all efforts with the Gemini boss first and try to get what's fair. It's like women, where a Virgo can be completely in love with his woman, and she gets him to this point...SEE YA, and poof...he's gone.

Depends on the business, we are just not good in charge of other people but analytical skills are definitely helpful in certain leadership position. Guy Virgos I know have been in leadership position, female Virgos never are - I've had a Virgette recently tell me that she doesn't want to be promoted because of the extra responsibility.
The boss is a Gemini, they're cheats and liars in business, they love getting an unfair deal that abuses the other party and they lie straight to your face (speaking from experience).

Virgo,ussually do very good in followers positions.Due to their perfectionist personalities,they try to do best at the job and give their self 100 procent.Thats why ussually people start to take advantage on them(esp.bosses).Virgo tries to please(service type)and when they feel are taken advantage of them,they explode big time.They need to explode,when they cant take it anymore.Is posible to change jobs as Virgo,when you feel you are screwed up by a boss.
Happened to me,few times, i exploded and moved to other job,where people are nicer and salary even smaller(why should i put up with an idiot person,ewww-Life is too short!)
Is hard to stay in a job where the boss is pig and doesnt apreciate our work.

mika7: that's why you should work for yourself. Use your work ethic to make yourself rich, instead of your bosses. The perfectionist side makes us too scared to go out on our own, that side has to be suppressed sometimes.

Actually ,i do work for myself now,for 3 years-),but iam thinking to start working in the cultural/traditions domain and my immediatte boss will be a Cap lady.
