Virgo push and pull

I wanted to gain a little insight into a person I am dating. I have been seeing a female Virgo for about 3 months now. She pursued me, and wanted to be my girlfriend, only to eventually break up multiple times over small, trivial things. I fell in love along the way. She mentioned she was ???falling?? but she is not in love with me. I understand that things like this develop over time. She wants me to see her all the time, stay over practically every night. She doesn??t like to be alone I should add. I don??t know if I am being strung along or if these are virgo traits. One day I am pushed away, another I am pulled. This is almost every day. She says that she doesn??t know how to love or be loved (she is actually in therapy.) She has always told me with her relationships "I am the one before "the one." People usually end it with her. I hang on wondering if all of this back and forth is just the hot and cold thing that Virgos do? She can be so loving, and I see it in her actions but then she says something that cuts deep, so deep it leaves me devastated. She is starting a new job and going back to school so now she doesn??t want anything serious. Gave me permission to go and see other people. That really hurts. On the other hand she talks about us moving in together later, trips away, our birthdays. So she sees a future, but then kind of stops herself. What gives?? My heart says that maybe she knows she hurts me and doesn??t want to completely ruin everything now that her availability is limited. On the other hand, I don??t want to stick around for something better to come along. She did state she isn??t looking for anyone??_I don??t get it.
