Virgoan Emotional Spectrum

Personally, this is what I have noticed amongst the Virgo males I interact with.
ANGER
By far and large, these easiest emotion I have seen is anger. We become quiet, our mind starts racing, we think of the person/reason we are angry. We contemplate things from all angles, trying to discern motivations and causes. We wish to be left alone and all whom approach us irritate our concentration. If it is the case of romance, we oft convince ourselves our companion does not love us and does not deserve us.
We conspire of how to word our argument. Our superior memorial abilities and analytical ways of understanding things come into play. We use what we know WILL hurt you and are like a ticking bomb. Often time our fuse will dissipate a reasonable distance before the bomb explodes once left alone. Often time all we need is to have lots of alone time, or to sleep on it and come out fresh.
In the other case, when the person demands to know. We explode, all that we have abhorred about you comes out like a rocket with a spear at it's tip, straight at your heart. We remind you of all of your short comings and rub it in your face.
All a Virgo man needs is space.

Apathy
As a recent topic here shows, we can enter a "mood" whereby, all we do is criticise. The truth is, we mean no harm by it. It's all about helping you see what you should improve to become better. Virgo advice more times than not serves as some of the best you can get.
Very little matters to me in life, as is. My religious faith holds me together. However, not everyone is like this. Some lost souls, as I call them. Live dangerous lives, drag racing and seeking out women simply for sex. In my opinion, they don't care about there lives. They see the logical aspects only and move from finite pleasure to pleasure, with no regards for others. They see life as a means to an end, they live "serving others" and wonder why.
Lust
A strange thing really... and how the Virgo experiences and deals with it, is greatly different to other signs. Only this year, having looked back on my past I have come to realise, how Water signs affect me. I always get a feeling of sexual tension with Pisces, a sexual longing for Scorpio and a pull to sexually comfort Cancer women.
At first my convictions lead me to believe, it should not be so. Why should I only be sexually attracted to a woman? I thought it was wrong, and that I should seek out women who appeals to me intellectually. I have only recently become comfortable with having emotions.
Jovial
I spent my teenage years as a mute. Never talking and always with a serious face. Those who took the time to get to know me, found out how humorous I could be. It is my sensitive nature, my openness and subjectivity to take people's words to heart that cause me to be cautious amongst others.
It is easy for me to be misunderstood, therefore, I will guard myself through being less friend and more quiet. Unless, the people around me understand and accept me, I will not be the usual comedian I am.
Jealousy
Now this one is still a bit strange for me. My girlfriend is a Sagittarius, she is incredibly friendly, knows hundreds of people and as is the way with Sag women, extremely friendly with guys. Now all of this is fine and dandy. But there is a simple understanding with Virgos. "If you can do something with someone else, but you can/do not do it with me, SOMETHING IS WRONG
She goes around hugging every man she knows. It pisses off all men to high hell, whilst your out, walking close together, hand in hand maybe, and the man's girl propels off of him to go hug another guy. I DON'T CARE how long you know him, or who he is. Then she would hang with guys and take pictures, where they are lifting her up and she is in their arms.
I realised after I calmed down from the Almighty Fury within me, that Water signs understand the Virgo in this sense. Sag girls really lack common sense. The Virgo mans believes "That his girlfriend should be his and his alone"
Pride
Generally, we like to serve and do not like to be served.
We like to help but do not like to be helped.
I am not sure, but this may be compounded in me, by my Moon in Leo. I have pride the size of mountain ranges.
Self Worth
I always seem to find myself not feeling good enough. My astronomical standards, escape even my reach. In love, we tend to look at our flaws and the good points of the other, our criticising ways and seeming inability to keep up with the loving capacity of the other. It is often daunting for us to come to terms with letting our selves love and feel.
Emotions cloud judgement, destabilise our logic and open us to being hurt. I don't like playing games I can lose.
I maintain the ability to "switch off" all emotions as a safeguard and I sincerely believe I am the coldest person I know.
Worry and Concern
Yes we are the worry warts of the Zodiac. The few things that escape our manipulative capacity leave open the doors for unpredictable circumstance. You best believe it is sincere, especially where health is concerned. Our troubled digestive system and love for nature, breeds in us a respect for healthy living. Worrying for someone is the easiest way for us to show we care/love them.
Love
Perhaps the most elusive to gain comprehension of, out of everything. My cognitive style and experiences have made me one to believe in personal strength, willpower and self control, being amongst the most important things in life.
I look down on those who are weak, lazy and refuse to help themselves. Those who are slaves to substances and experiences.
I have always liked to think of Love as a Strength! Not a weakness.
Yet, I always see and experience love as a weakness... Love is said to be the most powerful thing that exists, and I believe that...
The only way I could tie it together was with help from my religious faith. God is Love.
To Love someone is to be weak for them. To want their best interest, to long for them, to want to be around them.
Often time it is when we are at our lowest, that miraculous things occur. These are the times when God is able to work in our lives. When we have no defenses up!
When all we have left is hope...
When you love someone, you have let down your defenses and embrace them completely.
For a Virgo, loving someone is to be at their service. To welcome them into your heart, to accept emotions, to accept what I view as weakness. To let go of our self control, within reason, and let our emotions guide us. A seemingly impossible feat...
Standing Ovation!!! Just the fact that you said all that says how mature and in touch you are with yourself as a Virgo! What a revelation!
This is all good to know. I have a friend who has a venus and a moon in virgo. Looks like they caresmile
Interesting about your sag comment. I'm very weary of other men touching me when I have a boyfriend or even really talking to them for that matter.
I am
Virgo : Sun
Leo : Moon
Leo : Venus
Capricorn : Rising
She is
Sagittarius : Sun
Aries : Moon
Scorpio : Venus
Gemini : Rising
She was with a Scorpio who smoked 2 packs a day and drank bottles of Scotch daily for 4 years. He mistreated her, threw her in a drain, abused her, never kissed her, got her to drink and smoke with him, cursed all the time. They both dropped out of college.
She was too "caught up in love" to see he was a freaking loser going nowhere in life. She gives of herself to others without putting her needs first. No common sense I tell you. This kind of story is common from my experience with Sag women.
Now I have been putting her back on the right track. No cursing, less drinking, no smoking, I treat her right.
She has cheated on me within the first month of seven, and I forgave her.
If she does again, this will be the end.

cajun, I have Venus in Leo too..as well as Mars. My moon is in Virgo though, so I guess Im the purer kindTongue my rising is in Libra.
My sag/cap gf has moon in Aries too! funny, the way you describe yours makes mine look like a nun lol, she does have a certain impatience and volatility of feelings, but basically shes very much a capricorn, a bubblier one though (thank god)

*nods rapidly*
The emotional spectrum is impressive Cajun. Well done smile
Good point. I have met enough virgos who want to fix and upgrade their partners but at the end, the tables get turned against them. Sometimes people don't change and the virgos end up with too much garbage on their hands.

you are right. my mother (she was not even a Virgo) was involved in such a help drama for five years. At the end there was neither change nor mercy.
Think about righting a book on human behaviors and actions Cajun. You'll be great at it! Maybe you should be a psychologist!
Well said man, well said!
Thanks smiles, I finished my Bachelor's in Information Systems. I have long been obsessing over psychology though, I greatly appreciate the vote of confidence!!! Big Grin

"I do beleive that your work is to be appreciated. But be careful that you are not about playing the healer. Then once your work is done what do you want to do with that person? keep her in the pocket and find another person who needs your service?"

I can personally attest to this being an issue for me. Heal and Go... did not do good things to people's emotions.

virgotome, the centre of our attention thing is so damn true. We're focused people with lots of energy.
Thanks StringsAttached et CappieSweetie!!!
