Virgos and not getting what they want!

So my Virgo boyfriend has been looking for a house to buy for the last few months. - good for him 🙂 he's 24 and already has a huge deposit saved up for a house. Anyway, being a Virgo he was very picky about what house he would buy which is fair enough. He finally found one he loved and was close to perfect, he put an offer down and was so close to getting it until someone else made an offer as well and he didn't get it. Now he is acting like the worlds biggest sook! It's understandable he would be upset about it but he just won't stop talking about it and whenever I say "just chill out, that house wasn't meant for you, you will find something better" he gets annoyed and says "you don't understand! I won't find something better" etc etc he is being soooo negative about it and won't stop thinking about it. I told him there is no point of continually thinking about it just be patient and keep looking for something better. His negativity is dragging my mood down. Haha what can I do? I know obviously I can't solve the situation, he likes it when I help him look for houses cause I've found a few good ones he has liked but I don't even want to help him since he has been taking out his anger on me over this house. Is there anything i could do? or perhaps I should just pull away and focus on me while he gets over this little issue. It's annoying cause he is so lucky to even be able to afford a house at his age, there are far worse things that happen to people.

yeah he's a cap moon, but aries mars, the only reason he didnt get it is because when he put his offer in he told the agent that he would want a builders inspection to have a look at it before he bought it, which is fair enough. in the end someone else put an offer in and they didnt want a builders inspection so they gave it to them, so now virgo thinks he's made the wrong choice by wanting a inspection. I just dont see the point of dwelling on it ALL day, seriously what is that going to solve? nothing. urgghhh i swear men can be bigger sooks then girls. he was sick a couple of weeks ago with a COLD and was acting like he was dying of a life threatning disease. im sick NOW and he's better and i havent complaind once hahaha. i'll give the guy some space *rolling my eyes*

yeah i know nothing is wrong with an inspection, i said to him, clearly they were afraid what the inspection might cover. Mercury retrograde is the worst time to sign on the dotted line anyway! you're right though i would hate for him to try change my mood in the middle of a funk (even though he does sometimes so now he's being hypocritical) ohwell, i'm not really fussed i just didnt realise this virgo who is sooo calm and collected and usually has himself together so well can throw such a tantrum. i feel a bit sorry for him haha

im a cap moon too, so i know how he feels i guess. i just dont appreciate him taking out his anger on me. im at work now and he is too, maybe i should send him a nice message saying "sorry you didnt get your house, did you want me to have a look at more?" or something. i feel bad now.. but i dont want to go rushing to him after he has been rude to me haha, im not taking it personally though

Im a virgo so I agree when we get in our moods we need space and distance.

Virgos (at least me) plan everything out in their heads and it has to be the exact way or they get very depressed and disappointed.

I ended up looking at houses and found a really good one and sent him the link and he loves it and has already booked with the agent to go look at it and said this is the best one i have found so far. haha, geez, i knew a better one would come up! 🙂


WAGTAIL - there was never a job available, just the possibility that one might come up, but it didnt end up going through so no im not working with him! 🙂

If there were two offers in place then the agent should have said to both parties put your best offer on the table...(best price) the vendors will then chose who they will negotiate with and can only negotiate with one buyer at a time. It wouldn't necessarily have been because he wanted a building inspection, this clause as well as pest inspection is the norm in Australia.

I would suspect that the others had a better offer on the cards with less clauses and therefore they were the first pick to start negotiations with.

I would advise NEVER to drop your building and pest inspection clauses for any home you buy. This is a protection for you as a buyer and an out clause should things not come up to scratch...White ants are everywhere and very expensive to get rid of and you can't see them or know they are eating away at your home until it's too late!

Something else will come along, it's a buyers market still, so allow him a week and then keep looking. Best time to buy imo.
