VIRGOS AS A WIND SIGN?!?!?!?!?

Well, I have been doing some EXTREME THINKING, and come up with a 'alternative' to explain/express virgo; it is possible, at least in my thinking that the virgin is no longer feminine; she could be a wind sign; the fact that she approaches things from the mental plane, and expresses herself in an unemotional, umbiased and intellectual way are typical HALLMARKS, AND INDICATORS OF WIND; wind signs are known to be intellectual, and rational, and mind over heart; feminine signs are supposed to be feeling, and receptive....yet Virgo approaches things in a, 'logically detached' manner rather than just exploding as the reaction to a situation; earth is usually a sign of the concrete, and worldly; I find myself board with everday conversations, and start thinking higher, rather than just being fine with everything; I question, and don't really like tradition, and am KNOWN FOR JUST COMING UP WITH NEW IDEAS ON THE FLY. I'd been wondering why my Aquarian friend and I a Virgoan got along so well....We both approach things in the same manner; the mind is where we start on our journey to reaction; we want to not just rationalize emotions, but to abstract with each other, to question each others thinking and gain 'understanding' and we both tend to be a little airy in behavior; we debate, and oddly.....HAVE NEVER ARGUED!!!! I AM NOT ONE TO BITE MY TONGUE DOWN EITHER....If he and I are of different elements, and are both opposing in planet, why do we UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER SO WELL??????. I want to understand why he and I work so well together; he and I can talk for HOURS about an Ideal, thoughts, or observations made by each other, or just to have fun; he and I can handle the intensity of our minds, and debate seaselessly about ANYTHING, AND EVERYTHING...any thoughts on this strange combo, or possibility?.

I myself am usually very logical, and almost unemotional; I like to approach things, or detach from them to move on; I am very calm, and want to get to the bottom of things, rather than tyraiding; but as a human, I am capable of it; I like to approach things from a umbiased point-of-view, and don't really like getting to close to anything, but If I like it, I can add it to my sphere, and incorporate it; many parts of virgo are usually expressed as logical, mental, analytical, and of the mental plane/facilities; I just don't quite understand why we get along; is it that we are truthfully of the same element???, and the zodiac never stoped to ponder this thought, or belief????....The system has afterall been found to be FALLABLE and the dates, and possibly other aspects of the sign could be off.....makes you wonder, and question right???? I am always comfortable with the abstract, or the not-so-concrete.....or am I just a 'NEW' virgo...???? I like to question, and reason to get to the bottom of something; I believe that there is a reasoning for it, even if it is abstract, or theory; and as for perfectionism; isn't that a ideal?...striving to make all orderly, or 'WHOLE'??? The earth signs would probably find that trait, foolish; it isn't attainable, and they as earth recognize this, yet Virgo strives for this 'light as air' concept.....hmmm.

o O, I see your reasoning; it really does make sense if you stop to 'think' lol!!....(corny huh,) Anyway, Aquarians are more 'feeling' than virgos I think; they do try to empathize with the human race and strive for brotherhood, an emotional device if you ask me; they like to empathize and understand the human existence, and can get pretty caught up in human suffering, and the 'feeling' aspect; yet, they don't get too caught up in emotions, at least that is what they say.... As for Scorpio, yeah that makes sense too....I mean, I haven't found a Scorpion in the water have you?????....Scorpions are usually, more reserved in nature, and less inclined to extrovert, and are usually likened to the material things; they do appreciate the aquistion of, and the stock piling of things, and goods for themselves or others, they also, are usually obbsesed with material comfort....they could find a home on land....As for Virgo, she is normally depicted as being the 'winged virgin' and her gift is 'purity of THOUGHT' NOT ANYTHING MATERIAL; what is your interpretation of this???? perhaps that is why I can usually get along with wind signs.....maybe I CAN FLY....

virgoexalted, i have met some virgos who are more 'feeling' and senstive then aquas... Aquas dont make a good water sign coz they dont feel too much for people unless they have some water influence in their chart... they can be downright selfish and detached.......

I don't mean to offend; I am just offering my thought, and view of things; I have a more jovial, witty personality and can be quite freedom-loving, yet my rising sign is the sign of restriction, Capricorn, and my Moon is in Cancer....I want to know the main-stay of my ego(behavior)/Sun Sign of Virgo; what I am saying what are the 'real' parts and bits of virgo????; being that we are now taking into 'possibility' Virgos changing of element; it could explain many of Virgos behaviors.....

I DEFINITELY would not for a sec consider an Aqua SELFISH!!. They do know however that there is a LIMIT to giving; they aren't dumb....I wouldn't be as feeling as I am if I didn't have my moon in Cancer, it's just if your sign is about braching out from just the 'self' how can you be selfish????

I think, and feel as well eliza, you are right....but how I EXPRESS is out of the mental plane, and usually keep emotions out of it....no time for emotions if you express from the mind ya know. Virgos are pretty sensitive, but usually, are a little more tough/oblivious when it comes verbal/emotional exchanges; I for example, and a couple of Virgos approach love from the mind, and can find it a little 'foolish?' to get connected to deeply... but since my moon is in cancer, I have the ability to also 'feel' and 'want' of it's gifts...

Aquas can be somewhat selfish based on what i've experianced.
I used to share some secrets with a close aqua friend, and he TOLD EVERYONE. Didn't even care about my fragile cancer feelings Sad now I distance myself from him >=P

I am naive to a degree; but I have experienced; I was not sheltered, and have lived a hard, ARRDUOUS LIFE; Perhaps I am naive, but I don't think you go through an arrdous life to come out without any insight or understanding to the inner workings of human nature....If a person dosen't like my view, well screw 'em; I will continue on alone; I enjoy being alone to collect thoughts, and prepare; I usually have enough ideas to keep busy anyway...also to o O, don't feel so bad for me...I don't want anyone's pitty, but since you are sincere I just wanna thank you for that; I am a Fair-Minded type in that if you go a mile for me, I go a mile for you!! This is all too true eliza, this is one of the many reasons that we are far from being water types, just because there's some dude pouring water doesn't mean we are supposed to be water types...but I have to disagree with you with the SUPER SELFISH part...remember, we are of the wind element, so being detached ultimately makes people around the aqua feel as though we are selfish, when all it is really just us being unemotional to what is all to important to another...

Virgos are grounded I can admit that, but as a Virgo, do you not 'intellectualize' dyrstr8z; do you prefer to use your mind instead of readily attaching to something???. The process is actually pretty 'grounded' in that it is 'logical' to do so; but most air signs are intellectual, and approach things in a 'logical' manner; love for instance:
As a Virgo, I have been more intellectual about love rather than highly romantic, earth signs do like to get close and touch but Virgo seems to need to 'conceptualize' it first; the idea of 'being in love'; that was my approach to it, my initial steps toward romance; then, air signs such as Geminis, or Librans are usually very intellectual, and communacative and prefer to intellectualize their feelings in attempt to not feel, but to get through the 'feeling' process, becuase isn't it logical to bypass the feeling phase, if you already understand the concept??? Concepts, and theories are pretty airy anyway; I have no problem talking about what happens in the clouds, and am probably just a 'Winged' Virgin; I think your kinda missing the point here though drstyr8z; the point is that I am trying to explain that Virgos Expression, it's way of life is actually quite windy, in nature....we are intellectuals, and don't quite fit with other earth signs, and have been habitually called a 'mental sign'....I don't quite think earth signs are very 'mental' ya know???? Virgos dealings are usually about; 'let's make sense of this' or 'let's attempt to try this' to be intellectual is to reside in the mind, and that my friend is a typical trait of most Virgoans; we like to 'think things through' or at least be able to conceptualize the idea of something; things are sorta reduced to an exercise of reasoning and logic, not just how it works in intrest to reality....I never had to fully understand a theory, or see how it worked in reality, becuase I was such a mental person...the need to concrete something, and to see how, it works on the earth plane is apart of perhaps Capricorn, and perhaps Taurus, they tend to 'do' as Virgo tends to 'intellectualize, or rationalize' before they act; they need their mental facility, rather than that which goes on around them in the 'world'......preetty airy to me

What makes you so sure, eliza that Virgo is not typefied as 'Unemotional' 'Callous' and 'Logically Detached'??....I have usually shocked people with my degree of indifference to a people's personal problems. I do out of kindness, and generosity in my heart, and that is MULTIPLIED BY ABOUT 10 FOLD, BECUASE OF MY MOON IN CANCER!! THIS IS AN EXALTATION, MEANING THAT CANCER'S NATURE IS ALSO BROUGHT OUT IN A PERSON; it makes a Hard person even more sensitive, and negative to criticisms, but Virgo, wants to be of her mind(Wind), not of her body(Earth)....perhaps this is why Virgos don't typically make such a big deal of sex??? Becuase they are logical????.
