We are pretty much The Inquisition.

LOL. I was hanging out with my siblings last night and when I went to the kitchen, I asked if any of them needed anything. My little sister asked me to bring her some water. The following conversation ensued.

Sis: "If you're getting up, would you bring me some water please?"
Me: "Sure. Glass or cup?"
Sis: "Uhh, one of the new cups we got for Christmas."
Me: "Okay. Colour preference? Ice or no ice? How many cubes?"
Sis: "2 cubes, and uhhhhhh green, I guess?"
Me: "I'm sorry! Some people don't like ice, or don't like too much of it! I want to make sure I get you what you ask for."

At this point, she just started laughing and told me she knows and appreciates the "20 questions" I can sometimes go through. Thank God for people who appreciate the quirks in others 🙂

I hate it. It drives me insane and I have 2 Virgo placements.

I'm like why do you need to know and what difference does it make. It is present in every Virgo I know to some degree.

My sister watches the news 24 hours a day and then calls and says "did you know"..no I did not know that there was recall on hot dog buns !!!!

Although my co-workers who are Virgos are quick to tell me when I am not explaining something very well. That I love. They are always the first to speak up like...wait can you repeat that please, so you are saying, well what happens if....You definitely want t a Virgo to practice a presentation in front of.

How else are you gonna find out things?! lol

This is what bothers me the most..some signs like Geminis just ask questions for the sake of asking it's like their brains are forcing words out of their mouths or something.

Virgos on the other hand ask a question and then stare at you until you answer. They are seriously waiting to see what you will say but then there is THIS... If she says A..I am going to ask this next...If she says B...I am going to ask this next....ok she said B...ready set go...then back to stare while waiting. The silence is deafening. That eerie silence while you are thinking of how best to answer the question so the MADNESS will stop.

I usually snap at that point....Like I DONT KNOW !!! LMAO. I literally just laughed because this is so real.

Only dumb question is the one not asked! 😉

Ah and here is where I would disagree. some folks do become unnerved by a Virgo seeking info, but while anyone who is conversing can end up manipulating a conversation...often times the Virgo's I know don't pre-package their responses. Its not to say that we don't weigh potential outcomes in a conversation, what you probably will say in a given situation and so on n so forth, but I am more interested in the responses that are the most genuine. A vague answer is a superficial answer, the virgos I know (myself included here) are typically allergic to superficiality.

Most Virgo's I know do what's called active listening. They actually listen and digest what others say to them, verbally and non verbally. They aren't thinking of the next thing to say. The stare does sometimes make one feel as if they are dissecting you LOL.

Not frequently, and usually not about anything of great importance. More often than not I can spin their focus onto something else if I don't feel like sharing. When they don't pick up on the hint though, then it becomes an interrogation.

80% out of irritation due to lack of basic observational skills on the part of the other person.

Me: *sits down to read a book*
Them: What are you doing?
Me: What does it look like I'm doing?
Them: What are you reading?
Me: You can see the book. The title's right there...

15% because whatever the information is, it's not relevant to that person or anything going on at the time and not worth sharing. Attempts to pressure something out of me for the sake of it or implications that I'm hiding something cause me to push back in kind until my patience wears thin enough that I just cut the situation off and walk away. Maybe it's my fixed rising but I don't like feeling like I'm being pushed around or manipulated, and once my heels dig in there's no budging on my part.

5% because whatever is on my mind they really wouldn't want to hear and/or probably wouldn't listen to anyway.

That mostly holds true for everyone although I will say that I am more willing to share and open with persons whom I'm close and feel are trustworthy.

I dont necessarily become annoyed, but I do tune them out...until I hear something that worth wild to discuss or something I need to know.

Yup, yup makes a lot of sense... they use logic to draw them in... but this includes Caps too! I only say this because of my Virg rising I tend to draw in a lot of earth and I usually have no probs convincing of anything 🙂
