Virgos Being Our selfs?
I am always myself but due to the mutability of our sign, that means everyone sees a different side of the picture.
I can mingle with all groups save the "fakers/pretenders" and get along well having deep conversation.

Ditto. People fail to understand how easily we can show different aspects of ourselves to different people at different times. It's not our fault we're so marvelously complex and have layers, while many subdue themselves to only being ONE WAY at all times so everyone else can understand them. Gods bless the sheeple.
That said, I am completely and unabashedly myself...once I get to know that group or person. I'm outrageous and some of the stuff that comes out of my mouth would make a sailor blush (I have a Sag ascendant) so I have to gauge how open I can be ahead of time. That's where the Virgo Analyzing and the Cancer "Secretiveness" comes into play. It's not so much shyness, but for the protection of virgin ears. LOL!

Yep! This is us to a tee! In class people will be like "how do you know that?" when I answer an obscure question. It's just from years of being naturally curious and an avid reader. I also watch a lot of "educational" television- so I'll watch Planet Earth before I'll watch 24 or some such nonsense. Real life is better then fiction.
The downside of Virgos is that many of the ones I've met are pathological liars. I know I used to lie quite a bit, but I grew out of it and found it's much better to be genuine. Some Virgos though, NEVER mature past that. My ex lied about EVERYTHING. He'd lie just to lie, and then wondered why no one wanted to promote him at work (he's in the Army) unfortunately, I didn't tell him the truth until we broke up- that maybe his lies were what was stopping him.

Television has become obsolete to me. I only watch a handful of shows online now.

I have been raised to be very honest and I despise lies.

Yeah, I've noticed that with virgos too. Many tend to lie not to hurt people but just to shut them up. I began to do that but stopped and kept things genuine, aries influence (if they don't like the truth then they can take off elsewhere), like you said, but there's still the problem with others who lie and accuse us for misinterpretation because everyone wants the lies to be known as factual which non of "us" approve. It sucks to be given information after a while because we just don't believe in the crap others may say.click to expand

Not nearly as much as I used to. I'll actually do tactical evasion if I think the person won't like the truth. Change the subject, ask them what they think and then expound upon it so that the onus doesn't rest on my thoughts or opinion. But no, I hate lying, it's counterproductive and you always get caught.

Some people call "tactical evasion" lying.
The funny thing about it is, is that it gets the truth out of other people.
Playing dumb is one of the easiest ways to discern someone's true intent.
Yeah i have to change in front of people.. so like im little geeky in sum areas i like looking at history ch i like anime star trek etc.. and i also like to hang out and party and be wild and goof off.. sum of my friends can't handle my geeky side and sum of them can't handle my wild side... i only have two friends that can handle both and they are my true friends.. when it cums to girls im naturaly goofy so i have to turn that way down.. alot girls get turn off by that i don't know if any other virgo goes through that..
