How do you try to present yourself to the outside world?

I am conservative in clothing mostly. That's just a choice for me..I don't like to draw attention and I'm not really good with matching colors so I'd look like a fool. Mostly shades of red and black.

Not conservative in life style or behavior...but I do value logic and common sense. The latter seems to fade away with each passing year so I try to endorse it...which might be considered as conservative.

Refined..more like I discriminate a lot..certain books, movies, songs catch my attention. Don't know if it's refined though..we all have different tastes.

I don't go with the trends of the moment and I don't follow the glamor of tabloids etc...a lot of popular things are lost on me. I cling unto what I like and I deem as worthy.

Conservative, efficient, reliable...those are all keywords you could type in to find me haha. jk jk...but seriously yes, I find myself almost to the point of boring in every approach i take! Trying to become more of a risk take in my later years 😛

I am with Damnata. I like what I like, but not to the point of following what's 'in'. My girls try to keep me young and updated and I will try new things, only if I'm comfortable with it. Not trying to say I'm original, but I HATE when people don't have a mind of their own in their decision-making. I have a group of friends (2 of them my age) that will go along with each other and do the same things, wear similar outfits. It gets really crazy at times - that's when it's time to disassociate and be by myself. Or go hang out with the guys lol. I sometimes feel I bond more with them because they are more real and down to earth and not so superficial. Let's talk about real life, not drama, hair, makeup, nail sht.

well, my husband is virgo rising and he dresses very nicely. He won't go out without looking really nice, even with jeans, it has to be expensive jeans. Lol.
he does have a Double virgo father, and also my sister's man is a virgo sun 2nd decan, but ironically he doesn't dress as nice as hubs and father in law which is odd. He's all holey jeans and metallica t-shirt kind of guy with rock concert stubs in his pockets. So weird!! but when i did his chart, he's got libra venus/moon with 11th house stellium, leo mars. don't know his rising though. But he goes about like a virgo in other ways, such as 2 jobs, can't sit still, has to be working lol
other than that, he dresses like a hobo, but beneath it all, he is quite frugal.

I think the concepts of what constitute being "refined" and "conservative" are largely subjective.

When making purchases I am (mostly) frugal, choosing quality items over more common ones. I prefer to have few possessions which may be more costly but last longer and be more effective than many that are cheap, defective, and frequently needing replacement. I'm very picky about what I eat, the way I keep my things, my dress and how I present myself to the world. You won't catch me outside wearing anything stained or with holes in it, obviously ill-fitting, or being unclean. I can't say that I have much appreciation for unintelligible, lowbrow or excessively vulgar entertainment, or that kind of behavior in others for that matter.

I suppose my idea of conservative behavior is mostly acting within reason around social norms. I don't feel any need to bare my flesh or sexualize myself for attention. While some of my actions behind closed doors have been known to raise an eyebrow or two I generally keep them to myself, and you probably won't find me engaging in PDA any time soon. I'm not overly vocal about my politics, theological beliefs, dietary inclinations or moral values or much of anything else that others appear enjoy stirring one another into a pointless frenzy with.

I like to approach the world with a calm, logical demeanor and a live and let live attitude while minding my own business.

I am conservative in thoughts, I am reliable and punctual. I believe in good manners and old fashion. I am Virgo moon and rising. Aries sun, so I do tend to be a little spontanious and I don't always think before I speak or react. However, all the other Virgo qualities, I have. Think, Analyze, Clean, and like things a certian way. So yes, I am refined, but I am also very liberal and an idealist. Its actuallu a nightmare sometimes, what I do to myself..lol

Even as a male, I feel that I'm pretty conservative when I dress. I'm very particular about sleeve length on my t-shirts because if I show too much skin my arms look skinny and it looks pathetic.

As far as my views and actions... I'm really only conservative and shy in front of strangers and people whom I don't know very well. Around my friends I can be pretty loud and obnoxious; it kinda feels like I switch my personality as I leave my house to get to class and then switch it back when I get home and start hanging out with my roomies.

Noticing a lot of similarities haha

I was told last night that even when I am just hanging out that I always look like put a lot of thought into what I am wearing.

I don't notice it but I will admit that even just staying and watching TV I will check my look in the mirror. Even if I am alone.
