My mom is a Virgo. She didn't walk out of a date, but got my dad good. Previously I they had gone a date and he spent most of his time upstairs on the phone at the party. The next time they went out my mom quickly looked at her watch and then told him she needed to be home. He took her home and asked why. She told him she had another date. Sure enough, my dad waited around trying to size up the competition. Little did he know no one was coming

I wasn't mad at her after I cooled down that night, but she proved she wasn't worth my time. Running around with other guys on the first date is a baaaaaad sign. lol
Oh, it's definitely not something that should be accepted. It's just that when you said that she tried to apologize, it sounded as if you totally dropped her as a human being afterwards. We all make mistakes and we're not necessarily even aware that we're making them, so it sounds so harsh when someone says that they'll just walk out on that person when they're trying to apologize.
I guess I'm just trying to figure out the Virgo brain and I don't seem to quite understand it :-)click to expand

"She said she would be right back. She came back, when her drink was empty. This went on for about 30 minutes. I had enough, and went to the table, and said that I had to get something from my car, and I would be right back. She had left a bag in the car."
^^Rude & extremely inconsiderate. Good for you! Cell phones are a dealbreaker for me too. Unless the guy has kids and needs to check on them...shut the damn thing off. I see couples at dinner doing this and if I could only act out the thoughts going through my head! lol

ha ha good topic.
First date, He asked me to meet him for dinner. Got there..saw him standing outside with a group of people talking. As soon as he seen me walking toward the group he walked toward me, I met him at the door, smiled he smiled both said hello. I waited for him to open the door, he looked at the door then at me, I looked at the door and looked at him. He did not open it, I turned, walked away and said have a good night. Got in my car and left. He tried to stop me, I heard someone mock him from the group. Total turnoff and spoke volumes with inaction. My Dad and brothers raised me as a lady.

There are differences in what both did. For example, the first one, we didn't know each other. I literally met her the first day, and asked her out on the spot. I didn't know her from anyone. So, when I ditched her, I had no history with her whatsoever. I wasn't mad at her after the fact, but I also didn't want to waste my time with her. In my opinion, her trying to apologize to me days later meant to me that she wanted to try again. I did not, so I was rude to her because I didn't feel like explaining it. She knew what she did, so wasting my time by letting her apologize could have given her the wrong idea about my intentions, which is why I walked away.
That thing right there is why I'll probably never attempt to be with a Virgo again :-) Things don't always go as planned, and it's not necessarily anyone's fault, but if you don't state the real reason why you don't think it's working out and you just come up with something and disappear, then the other person is left wondering what happened.click to expand

She knew what she did though. That's the point here. She knew that she was leaving me alone on what was supposed to be a date, and only coming back when she needed a refill. Do unto others, I guess.
