Advice for wanting to be an entrepreneur?

Hello to all. I'm in college right now majoring in Managerial Sciences with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. I plan on opening my own food truck in the near future and would like any advice on running a food truck, or running a restaurant, or even just running a business in general. I'm all ears. smile
Thanks for the open and honest advice. Yeah it is a really huge risk but wow I didn't know that there was an 80% failure rate. The reason I wanted to do a food truck because where I live, there aren't that many food trucks so I thought that there would be a market for it. Also I thought food trucks would be cheaper than brick and mortar restaurants.
Lol, nice! Well, I'm here in the ATL, we're starting to become more open-minded (slowly, but surely), so I think that I might have a shot- especially in the downtown/midtown areas. As for what to sell on my truck, I was thinking of sticking to something I'm great at doing: baking and making drinks like juices, teas, coffee drinks, and smoothies. I've worked at several juice bars and smoothie shops during my high school and college years, plus I always juice, bake, and cook at home for myself and others and the reviews have been honest, but positive. Several of my peers think that it's a good idea to start my own business so I'm like, why not? As for catering, that's a goof idea and does make a whole lot of sense, but I wonder if I could get a lot of catering requests with the type of food and drinks I make? Maybe if it was like for breakfast or lunch...
