Hi! This is for those of you that have a knowledge of legal writing. I would like to know how you begin? Do you outline first? Do you make notes on your fact sheets? Do you just write and correct after?
I have found that I think so fast that I just start writing because I am afraid that I will forget my thought if I do not write it......I am not happy with this method and am hoping that there is an easier way...
are you talking about writing as in poems, a book or what?

i tried writing this horror story... it took a few weeks. get a book and write ideas...and hopefully these ideas will look like something. i think you should try and create something..use bold pens..cause when your writing details our minds can make us go crazy, if you know what i mean? tired, lazy... so do that and then start writing! just do a bit at a time (a day perhaps) and CHECK IT AFTER! do another the next and check both...
the main thing is that it makes sense and its what you want...the best you want
hope that helped,

LG - Such a broad question. If you are asking about RFP Contract Writing I can assist you with this as this is what I do. If you are responding to an RFP, you want to read and make notes of the request in an outline checklist format. Than you want to compile the necessary data. It is a good idea to have one person be the general editor and another to be the main contributor as you get one voice. Sometimes hard if you are responding to a RFP that requires differnt items. The checklist is VERY important to not miss any requirements from the RFP. This how RFP's are graded.

Make sure any binding info is approved by attorney before submitting ...also very important.

If you're writing a legal brief, one should follow the CRAC method.
