AQUARIUS/PISCES: also called Aquisces or The Electric eel ..
AQUARIUS/PISCES
:In the ozone, pure and simple. Not of the earth. Don't even try to figure them out. Terminally spaced out. This sign rules lost mail, the government bureaucracy, selfless individualism and decentralized fish.
Tem Tarriktar
Fixed Air & Mutable Water this is perhaps the strangest combination. Both of these signs are unconventional as far as society is concerned. They seem to know things other people don't know. Aquarius desire to know with Pisces intuition could be very helpful. However, they aren't on the same wave length. It takes some objective observation to make this unusual combination fit. Society is no help when it comes to putting it together. Pisces belongs to the mystics while Aquarius belongs to the scientist. Of course, no one fits this pattern exactly. Both must find a part of society in which they feel most comfortable. Those dealing with this cusp of qualities in one chart must find a unique way to blend these two abilities on their own. Most of you will be rather silent about what you are able to recognize since you realize very early that no one else recognizes things as they appear to be to you. If you worry too much about other people, you may put so much pressure on yourself to fit in that you distort the best of what you have. If you are able to deal with the difference you recognize between you and the society in which you find yourself, it is possible for you to develop some real genius qualities. It will be up to you to recognize these differences and not try too hard to get the recognition you would like to have to help you develop your ideas. If you have enough control without looking weird, you will be able to learn something from everyone, even if they understand very little, if anything, about the way you see your world. Psychic phenomena is natural to you. If society laughs at this too early in your life, you will shut it off and deny you ever saw anything. You will learn very soon that others don't see what you see. You will have to decide whether you can find a safe way to be yourself or if it would be safer to try to be more like everyone else.
Singers, actors, authors, and that in-between group which cannot be classified are able to do a good job with this cusp.

^^AQUARIUS/PISCES^^
The Good Side to You:
DYNAMIC
CONVINCING
COURAGEOUS
The Bad Side of You:
NEGATIVE
DEMANDING
EGOTISICAL
*Btw; technically you are only on one side of the zodiac fence. The sun (cannot) be in two signs at once, even (at) the very beginning or edge of a sign-this is impossible due to actual line of arc. However still, this may not negate the past or proceeding (influence) of the neighboring cusp sign/planet.. *You feel what you feel..*
{The bigger question and what astrologers haven't yet found a strong concensus on, is the beginning/ending degree/s; it can vary from only 0 degrees of arc - as there are astrologers who believe this is only a real true cusp-born; to as much as 5/6 days..}
Cusp means past or proceeding influences/energies, (in addition) to the (actual) sun-sign you were born in. As in one door opening wide, before the last one has fully closed.
This is me! I'm technically pisces but only by a few days....but i know i have some aquarius traits in me. Sometimes i'm confused by mysef. The rational logical aquarius vs emotional pisces....Balanced maybe? Or just plain weird.

i know how you feel..LOL sometimes it is hard to decide if cool logic is best? or passion and emotion? Or maybe both? (Throw in 3 more aqua planets in the mix, too..lol) Sometimes i guess wrong -oops! too much emotion, or darn! i don't want to sound too robotic. i guess i try to look for a balance; or what i'm comfortable with at the moment, or at the very least mix it up a bit..lol
At any rate, it is kind of cool to have (both) modes of thought/expression at your disposal..
I love this cusp with a lust
that could set the sun from its dark prison free
I think its more like multiple personalities!
But maybe helps relate to others better than just pisces or aqua alone

..i couldn't agree more. Gives a good balance of both 'emotion' and 'logic' .. Best of both worlds.

Hi, Starblue
For this particular cusp, it falls on Aquarius-Pisces; Febuary 16-22 (Cusp of Sensitivity) From: *The Secret Language of Birthdays* ..
However, i have this very well-read astrological book that does include a few more days for every sign. The astrological consensous being 5 days either way. Thus;
THE CUSPS OF AQUARIUS:
Born January 20th through January 24th
You are Aquarius with Capricorn Tendencies.
Born February 14th through February 18th
You are Aquarius with Pisces tendencies. You have an easygoing charm that fits in well with almost any group. Whereas you may have many aquaintences, those who know you really well are few. You have a lighthearted exterior which often hides deeper feelings. In work you are forward-thinking and progressive, but also cautious. You view life with a somewhat jaded eye, and won't run into anything new without investigation. Nothing offends you more than being unfairly dealt with. You tend to have extravagant tastes and enjoy spending money.
Just some extra info here: "cusp" ...born near the beginning or end of an astrological sign. Technically, the Sun does not move into a new sign at exactly the same moment each year, and the dates for the different sun-signs may vary by a day or so. thanks mystic fish......then this person could be my opposite I'm a Leo/Virgo Cusp
then they could be a Aqua/Pisces Cusp...interesting

"Nice. The Electric Eel."
Thanks, DK..
I am an Aqua/Pisces cusp, born on the 22nd, but I definitely feel more Aqua as I have been perceived as standoffish, and purely logical....however, I have found myself becoming emotional at times... I get so confused also :-) ehehehe....I've dated across the zodiac spectrum, my first was a Leo, then a Taurus, then a Cancer, most recent, a Sagitarrius. I have started seeing an Aquarian, and now that is interesting, ehehehe.

Even though my Birthday is Feb. 11, I swear I see just as much Pisces in me that I do Aquarian...My chart says I'm a full blown Aqua but some of the things said about Aquas (personality wise) that I don't agree with end up being filled in with something Pisces do. Sometimes, I'll read about Aquas & with certain things, I'll say "No, that's not true. I react more like a Pisces in these types of situations more than an Aqua." I find it weird that even though I am not a Cusp of Pisces, atleast I'm not that far off, considering if I had've been born just 3 or 4 days later, I'd be one.
Im a Pisces born 22nd Feb. have to say when I was younger I was definately more in touch with my Piscean qualities more so than Aqua ones. I was a typical Piscean child, loved fantasy, fairy tales, dressing up, make-believe, baths, anything to do with water, any form of escapism, paranormal etc. As i got older, i still got a lot of these tendencies but I'm more rational, logical and practical now. maybe it's just part of growing up, but I definately can analyse things from a completely logical thought process, but if I chose to I can analyse things from a completely 'feeling' perspective. Does anyone else 'get' that?
Im February 21st. I feel very Aqua. Electric Eel is very cool.. I also struggle with how people percieve me and trying to please others. I have always struggled to fit in and when I realized that just was not going to happen I just accepted my freakiness. I wish I could have seen my potential sooner... but we are on the verge of the Aquarian age from the Piscean age...We also have the chinese New year right on the cusp. Its a very significant time. My ex is a jan 10th Aqua his venus is in Pisces and he is very much attune to the piscean needs. I am crazy about Aquarians. I cant get enough of their energy. I almost exclusively date Aquarius once I realized what they were all about. I tend to like-like minded people. I am emotionally drawn to intellectual qualities...something like that. I am very logical myself but I ditrust science because it is so myopic.
...hello...
I just stumbled upon this post (and forum) after searching for the meaning of the Aquarius/Pisces cusp. Thanks ~Mystic_Fish! It's a fantastic description!
Being born on February 22 gave me Aquarius and Pisces intertwined. Water in Air... I have always been in the clouds! I also live in contrasts... simply complex, an analytical dreamer, a brave fraidee-cat, a peaceful warrior, an organized slob, a fish outta water. My wife was the first to notice my negative intuition. With whatever I foresee, the exact opposite happens. I can actually use it to my advantage, though. It's all good! =)
I am on my 5th career (trying to anyway) from Architecture to Graphic Artist to Professor/Trainer to Creative Director and now to Character Animator. All still intertwined, as well. I guess each consistently needs a balance of art and science. I also have a strong connection to the spiritual and mystical. I also design furniture, write children's stories, develop short films, illustrate books, sing in a band, etc...
My battles with people not understanding me continues to this day. I am an outcast (kinda) from my family. They just don't get me and think I'm too strange. Although constantly with new and unique ideas, I still haven't found success. I know that it will come, though. I've already had my greatest successes... my wife and son. I guess I do have everything!
Thanks for listening to my jibber-jabber and thanks for this wonderful forum thread!

"Since Aquarius is the most universal sign and Pisces one of the most intimate, it should not be surprising that many born on this cusp orient themselves to one of two extremes: either the most far-out idealistic pursuits or the most inner, deep, profound ones. Combining such essentially unlike attitudes may be extremely difficult, and many Aquarius-Pisces swing from one to the other. For example, they may deal with abstract concerns, or attempts to surpass objective limitations, while in their private lives, they delve into the world of feelings, people and human affairs."

Hi everyone!
I'm a new believer, I've had always wanted to believe but felt in my heart that I didn't.
I was born on Feb 24th. It wasn't until I read about this cusp that I became a true believer. For once I can say that everything I've read is true, Yay!
Well, I'm in love with a Cancer/Leo cusp. We had a fling when we were kids and I could sense that were really connected somehow even though it didn't work out. Back then we were like water and fire. A casual thing like that was no big deal for her but for me it proved to be more than I could handle. I tried to keep a cool head and back off, even though deep down I was hurting. Oddly enough I could feel that she understood even back then, I think that may be due to her cusp. Back then she was in love with a Scorpio and I was the runner up. It might be that she is attracted to water signs, due to her cusp but feels that they don't work out because of her fiery side.
Well now years later, I still feel that strong connection and I'm not afraid to let my feelings show this time around.
What do you think?
helloo mystic fish and everyone, im 5 degrees into pisces, up till now ive been reading only on pisces but gosh! it really fits what you said!!
um ive got a question i dunno if you could answer it, um. if other signs like ascendant and moon, are harmonious with eachother and with your sun sign, you will be more harmonious with yourself right? and visa versa for less harmonious signs
i would definately say i fit into the aquarius/pisces cusp. my moon sign is scorpio
and from what ive read aquarius is just about one of the worst fits with scorpio. and pisces is one of the best
does the electric eel usually get along with scorpios?
when it comes to relationships i think i can send out the wrong message and especially attract the wrong kind of girls. im only assuming with most of this. i think its a problem and i was wondering if you had anything to say about it?

Hi, DF =) ..I'll try to answer what i can.
Cusp born people are automatically in square aspect with their sun cusp sign from the get-go. (Pisces in Square with Aquarius). So two very different influences merging. That's why cuspers can be (very) contrary at times. For us, the personal vrs the universal. Emotion vrs detachment, and so on. So, yes maybe in a sense, we do (as any cusper) tend to send out mixed or contrary messages at times.
Actually it does help if your moon or ascendant are in harmonious aspect with your Sun, depending of course, on degree or tightness of aspect. I have a nice sextile between my pisces sun and taurus ascendant. Though, i have no aspect between my sun (pisces) and moon (aquarius), which is fine and better than a (formal) opposition or square.
Strictly, as far as sun signs go, and you want to zero in on the more technical aspects between suns; it's been said cuspers do get along quite well with other cuspers and there generally does seem to be a natural attraction born. For instance a Pisces/Aqua cusper and Scorpio/Sag cusper, are in Trine (120 degrees) apart, so these personalities would naturally get along well with little tension. (of course, it helps too if other synastry aspects support this, though no two charts are ever completely compatible at the best. You do need some spark and flame in addition, as too much sameness could get boring or stagnant, on the other hand).
As for Aquarius and Scorpio, yes they are in square apsect and generally quite different signs-aqua is unpredictable and free, whereas Scopio is intense and possessive. Also both signs are "FIXED" in nature and can become stubborn, set and somewhat unyielding to one another. Synastry-wise for Scorpio, according to *Secret Language of Relationships, the Aqua/Pisces cusp gets along best with Scorpio III, The Libra-Scorpio Cusp, Scorpio I for (work). And, of course, the Scorpo/Sag cusp as they are naturally in Trine.
Even with that said, it's still important not to let sun-sign alone be your only or basic guide. Synastry between two people and two charts are complex third entities that form the relationship, including all signs, houses and aspects and all share in mutual compatibility. Though there certainly can be patterns, never let astrology alone be your sole guiding factor. Love, compatibility, chemistry, attraction at the best of times can be its own best mystery. Kind of like "i'm not supposed to, but i am, and i do, and it works"..
Hello...1st post..Feb 21 here.
Very logical at times, hugely involved in reading and thinking about religion. Scientist by profession. Very emotional and needy. Psychic. Sometimes know what people think without them saying anything. Feel their moods.
Conventional on the outside, very work-oriented (cap moon), have fixed likes and dislikes and boundaries (taurus rising), very fast mind (mercury in aqua).
GF is gemini (bang in the middle of gemini) but has mars, venus, and mercury in Taurus. She loves multitasking and communicating (my aqua merc helps to gel with her in communications dept); but she is basically a taurus. My venus is in cap, and that helps too, as well as my taurus ascendant.
Worst enemy: my mind. Always second, third, and fourth guess myself. Damn cap influence, I guess

Hey warm welcome to dxp, JustBarely.. an interesting self-analysis, btw.
Besides my own piscean sun, i can relate to many of your inner planets, myself... *merc in aqua (mind is always on), venus in cap (rather cautious, serious, discriminating, hardworking, committed), taurus rising (tactile, fixed, stubborn to a point or pov, love of the arts, film, music..).
My merc and moon in aquarius are conjunct so thought and emotion tend to blend quite nicely, though at times one can over-think or over-analize a simple emotion, or vice-versa..lol

Hi all,
Just stumbled upon this awesome thread while looking for pisces/aqua cusp (i'm Feb 19) compatiblity with virgo 1 (she's Aug 28). Thanks to mystic fish and all others, I've a much clearer understanding of what my sunsign means!
Also figured that my sunsign doesn't seem to go well with Virgo 1 and that's perhaps correct seeing how its going lol.
After reading what JustBarelyAFish's wrote though, I'm starting to wonder that there is a whole lot more in the mix that I've no idea about and will be researching more!

..nice of you to say, achilles, glad we could be of some help. Happy researching, btw.. =)
What is the psychic phenomena that we have and what does it mean we can turn it off does anyone really know?
Cause i would love to know more and about me its so hard when every other site gives you one or the other and not what you really are..
My sister told me today that i was Aqua/Pisces. which also are the first letters in my First and Middle name..
Ok guys, I've been looking things up on the net recently (haven't do the actual indepth analysis yet though) but it seems almost as if this Pisces-Aquarius cusp is pretty much the worst time to be born in! I personally don't have any radical conclusions (and this is not spam but my genuine thoughts), but comparing with other signs it looks as if every other sign is extremely cheerful and happy while pisces-aquarius cusp is sad and aloof. Looking at financeastrology.com for example -
"The Aquarius-Pisces cusp can be symbolically likened in human terms to the period around seventy-seven years of age...
...By this time the human being should have come to terms with his/her life and to peace with loved ones and friends. Breaking down any armor that remains and showing honest feelings are important now. Rarely will new projects be taken on at this time, but the explorations involved in ending life may come to represent a kind of ultimate peak experience for the highly philosophical...."
I can kinda relate to all this (and more other descriptions of this cusp all around) because I'm on this cusp - I've been extremely good at reading others, very intuitive, great imagination, problem solving skills, intelligence and other traits that we have.....but on the negative side, I can't seem to relate to normal day to day life (laundry, cooking, cleaning, yeah call me lazy lol), don't generally get along with a good fraction of populace (while other cusps effortlessly socialize and what not), don't have the *drive* that people like scorpio-sagg cups or virgo or even gemini have to just enjoy the life and am basically more aloof and introspective (and lazy for that matter) than most other signs......so, is it even a good thing to belong to this particular cusp? Aren't we pisceans and piscean-aquas just naturally "depressed" (not clinically, you know what I mean) as opposed to other signs that don't enjoy the psychic-ness and intuition but are generally more happy (for that very reason that they're not psychics and enjoy the material world)?
Thoughts?
M
PS: on that note, it also raises a question - is it better to be shallow and more sociable and happy than deep and aloof and not so happy? But this is beside the point of my post.
Hi, have just logged onto this site for teh first time and what a revelation it is! i'm a february 23rd girl who has always struggled with fitting in. i'm always wondering what others think of me and, just as mentioned in a previous post, it is to the detriment of the relationship at hand. i've only once been able to snap out of this self analystic, self condemning state and that was with hypnotherapy but regressed after 3 months. combined with a crap upbringing which impressed no self confidence whatsoever upon me, and an as yet untreatable hormone imbalance, sometime it all gets a bit much and my freaky mind goes into overdrive!
Has anyone got any advice for me about an Aquarius-Pisces-cusp man I know and am crazy about? His birthday is 19th Feb. I checked his year of birth and in that year the sun moved from Aquarius to Pisces at 2am on 19th Feb, so he really is cusp. I'm not sure of his birth time.
We get on like a house on fire and have a real connection and everything in common, but tho we hang out socially and it's obvious we'd be great together, he never does anything about it. Then again, all the body language is there and he seems to like being around me, and even a bit nervous.
I'm Aquarius with Cancer ascendent, venus in Pisces, moon in Taurus.
He's got venus in Capricorn and moon in Aquarius.
Should I persevere or give up?!
oh my god that is so me!!!!!
i went to a psychic and she told me what your saying about my personality based on my numerology.
I cant beleive its so true!!!!!
im always confused, indecisive, have many different personas depending on my mood and been told i am psychic and believe it from experiences, but so unsure of myself or how to be or who to be.
Thanks for helping but im still confuded what to do???
just found this site very excited, 1 was born 2/19/45 and do not really know what sign I am, my life is going through drastic changes since 2008? what is up?
Hi everyone, i am 20th feb born,1985, aqua-piscean cusp with a moon rising and share my birthday with kurt cobain. All through these years, i am very confused with my own character. Sometimes i tend to be very outwardly and tends to interact with people and gets popular with them but later on, i tend to contemplate these kind of attitudes and prefer solitude or hanging around with just a few guys i know. Right now i am thinking too much about how people will percieve my writing and even take this, posting, too seriously. It goes with my conversations or my writings towards people. Sometimes i just stumble to interact with people and other time, i just dont care how i do but i would do. Also,I have a natural tendency of thinking only about myself. and so most of time i have neglected my family. Generally when people talk to me about something i generally tend see it from my own experiences which made me think of myself as a jerk. I have hated this behaviour of mine. I also worry a lot and seldom lock myself in a room in the dark inorder to get away from everything. I love solitude and day dreaming. I have completed my 4 years engineering degree and then took a job as a software engineer. The job was interesting at first but later i hated it so much and so i quitted my job and right now i am pursuing my mba. Why i did an mba was the biggest thing to come up for me. I am not a people's person because i cannot come up to something like that everyday because of my mood swings. Sometimes i feel i have a multiple personality problem or so. I am sensitive like anything and stay away from rough people. Seriously, i cannot live like this for the rest of my life. I have so may breaks in my life and i am not good in my relationships with girls. I have had so many girls in my life but not my kinda girls. Right now i am worried about my career whether i would be able to survive a tough two years mba.... Please share your experiences and how you fought this..
I am born on 14th Feb and met this guy born on 18th, so he is a proper Aqua/Pi cusp and it was so strange chat to him. He was so open but yet scared to say certain things in case I wasn't interested. but this diden't bother me. I loved how open he was but I think this was because i understood his weirdness. The first thing he asked me was if I was a Feb person. To which I said yes 14th. He said I looked like a Feb person and felt something about me that he coulden't explain but knew we would understand our weirdness. I never got his number, but I wish I could meet him again. Also the other thing that would annoy me about dating an Aquarius is that they do things based on how they feel at times.

Yes I'm an Aquarius/Pisces cusp

Ok guys .... (for that very reason that they're not psychics and enjoy the material world)?

M
I'm February 20th and I can not relate with how you feel even in the slightest. Maybe when I was in my late teens and I had the luxury of just being lazy, but now in my late 20s, I work 2 jobs, cook, clean, do laundry, do everything for myself, my "third" job (which is freelance) is slow, but I still do it when I clients arise. I am not naturally depressed, but yes I am emotional.
Horoscopes don't define who we are, it really is just an outlet in which we can use to help us make decisions. Some pisces are out of their mind and flakey... but some of us are more grounded, and reliable.
I personally take pride in busting my ass, hustling, and being their for my small circle of friends that I love. Everyone is different. I have been told recently that I am a tough Pisces.. probably because of the environment I grew up in... not because I am a cusp of Aquarius and Pisces. If you feel naturally depressed I humbly suggest to try forming new habits/methods to make yourself happy.
