I swear some Taurus just do enough and they come to a dead stop. There are others that keep on doing their job steadily, but then there’s a nice percentage that sort of laze around. A few of them have these weird points of view that almost seems crazy, but good luck trying to convince them otherwise. Venting, boss of lazy Taurus. Next time I will ask for birthdays on their resumes and get a couple of Virgos or Capricorns.
Do Taurus not like to work

Are the tasks simple? A lot of Taurus will not do something if it's too complicated. I guess that's what you mean by they have crazy views on things, so in that case, it prevents them from seeing a reason to do it. They also won't do something if it can wait a while or if it's too small of a task.

Yeah that's what I wanna know. Is the task simple? No sign wants to work hard but smart. Me as a boss I don't like working my peeps hard. I'm all too familiar with that hard labor work shit.

Fug, most of my hobbies are what other people consider work, and Im blessed that I own and operate several businesses. Between my actual work (what makes me money), the gym, all my vehicles which i do all my own shit to (repairs and customizing), building homes, remodeling, woodworking.. hell, I get asked all the time when I actually sleep. But, I like acquiring skills and knowledge with all the shit.. this whole setup is actually really beneficial and benefited by the fact that I have ADHD - I have a whole rotation of fun activities I can bounce around and not get bored with a mundane, boring ass job.
Ive always believed the only difference between a hobby and an actual job, is how much you love doing it.. ill work my ass of for the shit I love. The whole "when you do what you love youll never work a day in your life" thing... I wholeheartedly believe that. Now, if I aint into it, or I feel like we could be doing more, and/or im limited on how far ibcan push something by someone arbitrarily, ill bounce..

I wouldn’t call the work simple. It requires project management and taking initiative.
That’s interesting that you bring up they have to see a reason to do it. I know of 3 Taurus women who are stay at home moms and a Taurus guy who dropped out of the workforce after making a large sum in a startup. They didn’t see a reason to continue working, but are feeling the pinch financially with how things are going in the economy.

It’s not a standard task job. He is expected to manage his own and others work. In a way it is almost like a supervisory position. If he doesn’t oversee things correctly, things fall apart. Right now, my coworkers are coming to me and bringing up their issues. It looks like they don’t have confidence in him.

I’m getting the feeling he doesn’t love it. I also get the feeling he’s going to try to bounce. I don’t have an issue with him bouncing. It’s the in between period where he’s here and not motivated that’s the problem. I think in this economy it might be some time before he can find something. In the meantime he will be just going through the motions.

My 12th house (house of enemies) in Taurus wants to hate them hence why I don't fuck with ands

Are you his boss? His GF? Whats the relationship?
Best advice, and its wild as hell if youre his GF, dont freak out if he quits... I say this because before I started my businesses I had a good gov job with all the perks.. got hurt, had a chief change and the new guy was a deuche, partner got fucked up, I wanted out.. my girlfriend of like 10 years became unbearable. I get it, it was tough.. but there are better ways to approach it. I bounced from her too.. built a pretty good living.
Instead of getting anxious, help him cultivate something new..
If youre his boss? I mean, spice it up for him.

Anyone can be a work horse

adele working for 6 months then disappearing for 7 years

Hm so this dude is a Taurus, huh? Well my suggestion is this. He need to open up a restaurant and get into that since Taurus loves the food and beverage business. Or just work in the business industry for himself that way he can blame himself when things fall apart if he doesn't oversee things correctly. Always best to work for yourself anyway. That's the best I can offer.

All the Taurus women I know are so active and total go-getters (tbh that’s most women these days). The Taurus guys are total bums leeching off daddy’s monies well into their midlife.

You are the boss of a lazy Taurus and that Taurus is supposed to be project managing?
I worked in project management, global digital and physical events for the marketing team. Team work and strong communication amongst all teams within a project is VERY important… very proactive and action-driven. They need to be aware of what every team is doing, and keep meetings activated for updates at least once a week… to make sure movement and momentum is always taking place.
How many meetings are you having with him for updates? Perhaps you need to put on more pressure for him to perform?
My boss was a Taurus and I would hardly say she was lazy… she worked crazy hours and weekends too. She postponed her marriage for (we’re gong on) 4 yrs now because every year gets crazier at work…. And she prioritizes that over her personal life.
Because she seems overwhelmed, over worked, she didn’t really pay attention to my projects… which was fine because o loved the independence and I learned to be my own boss and stronger at project management (it was all on me).
Other teams stopped reaching out to her because she wouldn’t response back or responded at SNAIL PACE 🫠😵💫… so they could come to me as I was fast. When we would have our weekly meetings, I was on top of everything and that helped me be very vocal about what I needed from her and if she didn’t deliver, I’d remind her (slack her, emailed her) several times until I got what I needed. In many ways, I did feel like I had to push her to MOVE. But, her focus was on her superiors and performing for them. So, she was always understanding and apologetic about her slowness with me and I saved her ass MANY TIMES… so in a way it felt like we were a team vs. her being my boss. Respect was always high between both of us.
So, my advice is… crack the whip.
And I agree… Virgo or Capricorn would require less effort on reminding, repeating, pushing… it would go so much faster and you’d have less friction.
