I too have my Venus in Gemini, I understand your confusion! I get bored of people easily and I never feel that my need for mental stimulation as well as an emotional connection (I am a Cancer after all??_) is fulfilled.

I think any of the earth signs can work with Cancer....BUT!! they have to be aware and comfortable with the amount of emotional connection Cancer wants/needs. Logically we know that someone working hard, doing nice things, buying us stuff can be a sign that the person loves us but it doesn't really satisfy that deep longing we have, because yes we like luxury and security but we really truly crave an emotional connection that will be the safe harbor in our emotional ocean, that person we can vent/rage to about whatever, who we can lose control with, who gives and takes on an equal footing. This is so true! It didn't work with my ex Cap because he didn't understand this. It's soooo easy for me to open up to water signs and vice versa. It can be easy with some other signs too, but I never feel that same deep emotional connection that I crave so much.
My Taurus friend and I can sometimes go weeks or months without speaking to each other but when we reconnect, it's like we never stopped talking. There's always just this comfortable ease and I feel like I can be myself with no judgements. But when they get angry??_ I just prefer not to deal with that butter, and that's why I'd rather not marry a Taurus. I know a few Taurus guys who seem pretty laid back and chill, but Idk them well enough to say. I think I would do better with a fellow Water sign or even an air sign because of the rest of my chart.
My best friendship has been with a Leo guy, go figure. I have read on several sites that Cancer/Pisces combo is the best, but water signs in general seem to mesh very well. I think Earth signs pair best with each other (Virgo, Capricorn, Taurus).

My Taurus mom comes off as far less emotional than I do but when she gets mad, boy does she RAGE! We have different ways of dealing with our emotions. If I'm going through something, I can feel like I'm drowning in my emotions while Taurus stays levelheaded, which is great because she can always calm me down and make me see the rational side of things.
I wouldn't say every Cancer/Taurus match is the best beyond any other pairing, but it's a good one nonetheless.

not all taureans are like that, cancer. my friends don't always agree with me or what i choose to do with my life and i don't always agree with what they're doing in theirs, but we're friends and love each other regardless. sometimes fights happen but that's bound to happen with two people that are different. as long as you can respect each others opinions, even if you don't agree with them, then you're fine.

Yup. And I've noticed they like to keep people around who agree with them, and will shut you out if you don't. As a Cancer, that can be annoying because I like knowing that my opinion is heard & understood, even if the person doesn't agree with me.

Why are you chasing a guy who is showing no interest in you whatsoever?
As someone who dated a Cap for 3 years and has dealt with many Cap friends, I can say that if he's interested in you, you will know! Caps are usually straightforward and don't like their time to be wasted, and they will be very upfront about letting you know that. Rejecting your Facebook request is a clear sign that he's not interested.
But if you still want to pursue it, TALK TO HIM. Like CluelessCancer said, the indirect thing won't work here. Try communicating with him in person and if that doesn't work, there are plenty of more fish in the sea.

Words are not enough to describe him??_ He's compassionate, sweet, kind, and very mature even though he is a year younger than me. i don't think I am "too harsh" for him as I said previously - he said he likes my sarcasm, and so far we are getting along great. I guess it just depends on the person!

My Cancer friend is interested in a Pisces guy. They seem to be having a great time getting to know each other. I've never seen her this happy. She's got an Aquarius moon and he has a Libra moon. That would help make them more compatible right?
