Hello all! I am a newbie on the site and just wanted to get some advice. I'm a Libra Sun and Taurus Moon. My new boyfriend (we've been dating for almost three months on the 12th) is a Cancer Sun and Scorpio Moon. I just don't get him a lot of times. When I'm with him, he is funny and caring. The bedroom is where I can SEE his vulnerability and love for me. He says he loves me but then he agrees with me when I say "I know you need time to really share your feelings about me." When I tell him about something that shows that I need someone to be supportive, he will send me these text messages like "you have my heart." He just won't say it in person. And I feel like I usually start the conversation on how I feel about him. He keeps saying that he appreciates my "patience" with him and I'm a pretty patient person but shoot!!!! This is hard and I don't ever remember being in a relationship and working so hard! I'm used to men just being "all in" for me. I'm not trying to brag, but I have always been the person calling the shots in the relationship (except for my last husband who divorced me because he was intimidated by my career!!). I REALLY love him but I'm so confused. It's hard because the holidays are here and I don't know how to conduct myself. On Thanksgiving, we both spent it with our families but we texted throughout the day. I feel like he has so much control over me and I don't want to seem like I'm chasing him because I'm old-fashioned and I just don't do that! He told me that his last girlfriend scared him off when they were together 6months and she started saying how they should be married in another 1.5yrs!! He's been cheated on and I think some of his "caution" in our relationship comes from this. I've tried to keep to myself and not text him (which is his main form of communication) but then he texts me and says "why aren't you "calling" me?) and can be very demanding of an answer right then and there. How should I move him forward in the relationship? Help!!
