"(Copied from my My Space page) My name's Heather, and I'm a 30-year-old former music industry professional, specializing in promotions and PR. I've ditched the music biz for greener pastures, and will be returning to school in 2007 to complete the English degree I began many moons ago. Having just left a job at Harvard where I was a staff assistant, I'm temping full-time until my move to Seattle sometime in February or March. My dream is to one day parlay my love of photography and writing into a professional career. I've sold some prints, and licensed a few images, so I could be on my way! So, at the moment, I live in Boston, MA (more specifically, the coastal town of Revere), where I've spent the second half of my life, thus far (the first half having been spent in NY, with a minor detour to Orlando for two years in my early twenties). Next stop: Seattle! On a regular basis, I dream about visiting places like New Zealand, Australia, England, Scotland, Japan, and the cities of ancient Greece. I also have this fantasy of living on a Tibetan mountaintop--but I like toilets too much. I've got an amazing boyfriend (and best friend) named Steve, with whom I'm in the process of planning a future. (We've been together since 2002.) Right now, we're enduring a long distance relationship, as Steve lives in Seattle, where he's just completed his degree in graphic design (or something related), and I'm here in Boston. We see each other for 4-6 weeks at a time every three to six months or so, and spend as much time as possible together on the phone and webcam. It's torture, but we know it's not forever. In fact, as mentioned above, the plan is for me to move out to the Seattle area early in 2007 (I'll be flying out in Februrary to find work and a place for us to live). The other loves of my life are my cats (a.k.a. my sons), Skittles and Winnie, and my ""sister"" cat, Meggie, and my new hamster, Jack (named after Jack Shephard of LOST) -- as well as the much loved and missed BJ, Feisty, Punkin' and Teddy."
