What's the relevance of the venus-signs in interpreting a venus trine? For example venus leo with venus aries or venus cancer with venus virgo.

That's why I say it's a big risk, not necessarily an ultimate truth. However, under the circumstances (it being long distance and all) it's best to weigh all the chances. I know that I get in my head about things and then sometimes don't see the possibilities that are right in front of me.

It sounds like he might want you to be a bit more assertive. He's asking you to be his girlfriend you need to have a straight answers, otherwise he's going to shut off.
