Been with this Cancerian guy for about 2 months. At first, everything was fantastic! But these past two weeks he's SUDDENLY been doing this:
-Slimming down communication
-Seeming distant
-Being slow & random with calling me back and texting me back
-He tells me that he loves me sooo much and misses me, but just lately ain't been acting like it.
I asked if he still wanted a relationship & if he was happy. He told me yes! I also asked him he felt like I was smothering him and he state "Not at all. You're my lady!"
Is this typical of Cancerian man who is cheating or no longer happy in a relationship?

I really liked the guy, but I don't want to be putting in efforts into a dead end. I know I broke things off with him, but I didn't want us to be out of each other's lives COMPLETELY....I just wanted to cut off the intimacy due to inconsistency on his behalf.

i think you need to take the all or nothing approach with him. your selling yourself short. tell him what you want. if he doesnt want the same thing or cant give it to you, then step. save yourself months of "analyzing"

Thanks for all the comments! Well the situation was something I was wondering about. Nothing that has me caught up....just one of those things that you makes you think. I was just really curious on some outside insight...
I call them a drug due to their mystery.....it keeps me coming back! But yea, I just really enjoy you all's insight!

Ok well I don't understand that slang.. but it sounds like he really did care about you. But obviously he knows he *shouldn't* be bitter because it was supposed to be strictly casual, but he started to care when he wasn't supposed to. So he didn't talk to you because he was hurt, but isn't angry with you/bitter because he knows he never should have let himself care like that. So yeah, he would have helped you, you made it into his inner circle, and he cares. Most of the time Scorpio would have stung you when he was hurt, but in this case just retreated because he knew it was his own fault for allowing himself to care, and thus his own fault for causing the pain. He probably stung himself a bunch of times 'why do I care about her? stupid stupid stupid'.
That's the way I see it.

Oh wow! I never looked at it that way. That is very interesting. I Scorpios are great at hiding their true feelings because I would've never thought that he cared for me enough. You know, it's like when you're not into anything serious with anyone, you don't too much expect feelings to go far. That was my whole out look on things. I just didn't want to get too attached and involved in something that I felt/thought wasn't going to progress into anything more.
We are actually back to speaking terms and some "funny business" happened, but things actually seem the same. Nothing seems to have changed between us, but best believe that I am keeping my eyes and ears open!

What was the discussion that you two had about? What did you discuss? What was your mood at that time? What emotions were you experiencing? Just curious.

We discussed what happened to me while I was stranded and just how the situation occurred. My mood was more so in a shock due to us talking after so long. My emotions were beginning to rise, but stayed still because I didn't think things would've happened how he claimed they would have. So it was more so like I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I didn't wanna hold my breathe either.

Man, I was super stumped on what was going on, but you all gave me some helpful insight! =)Things seem to be improving (for now), but I hope that this is an on going progression. I really liked the guy, but just hated how we were on bad terms. Seemed like there was sooo much tension between us.
