I think because ppl have a hard time accepting the fact of "not having a partner". A way to ver this feeling up is to ultimately say the opposite in hope to convince yourself, the ego is your enemy i guess, we all prob have done it in other situations....
then again i agree with the need and want.....and not to get these two confused.
But if someone is really emphasising and justifying a particular issue then it may very well be that its hiding the real issue.

Slightly self-absorbed. I suppose he knows you are keen and has your attention so he feels comfortable to always revert the limelight to him.

I had a similar experience....he always played songs and would say "listen listen to this bit" "listen to these lyrics" or "these words are great listen"
Then again he was really into lyrics but who knows
Either way, dont let a song end it, do it the proper way and talk to him that way you know his true intentions.

I agree...why cant he make a decision now, he cant keep you hanging, you may go forever and is he really willing to face that?
If she is psycho why is he even involved again? Its easy to cut ties.

A taurus let go of what we had because of really bad personal situation and unrelated things going on which couldnt be handled. Though did make the effort to keep in touch and emphasised the fact that he didnt want to be strangers and wants to remain in touch....im still in hope...

Ok so we were texting the other day (initiated by me)and he mentioned he would like to "catch up soon" which i kindly agreed to and so now waiting for the next step to actually set a time.....im guessing there will be no initiating from his end meaning i have to do it....
