I've noticed several who appear to be suffering from a bad case of ignorance with a touch of bliss. In an effort to alleviate the widespread epidemic, let us put our heads together and search for the cure.
Note the cause:
"The recipe for perpetual ignorance is: be satisfied with your opinions and content with your knowledge." -- Elbert Hubbard
Your challenge is to contrive an equally potent formula that can address the symptoms of ignorance.
The decision to actually go to rehab and listen and learn its all up to you. You cannot allow awareness if your not open to it. To become open it must be for you, thus being your own decision.
"I say one, first have to stop being judgmental of himself/herself. We often say that people are judgmental to us, when very often, we are the one's starting the process by judging ourselves unfairly going through our life's experiences. As we go, we become stained by our own personal judgment, which keeps us from seeing things for what they are. We now see things according to the position we put ourselves in and not their simple nature."
Oh, I thought this was about the band. We just saw them in concert recently, and they RULE! 🙂
What allows people to remain in ignorant bliss, is lack of personal experience regarding whatever it is they are ignorant about. The solution then, would be to throw them into that experience. This would be difficult to do unless the ignorant were all gathered in a lab somewhere. And I really don't want to be in that lab.... 😛
