People are judging him for his Aries sun, and forgetting all about his Taurus moon.
I am Taurus sun and Aries moon, and I tell ya: when I date a woman, I want to spend months, years, with that same lady.
You, being Gemini, expects him to feed your ears with beautiful words. It's not gonna happen, and I dare to say this Taurus moon man will not make any move unless you touch him or say anything extremely-direct.
We taurus are not good in making guesses or reading signals, and pretty insecure.
