Posted by RadarI would say yes... I actually have had this in synastry... constantly humping like you need it in your life, lunch breaks, watching the sun come up, anyplace, anytime... humming with arousal between the two.
No matter what the aspect is (conjunct/opposition/square), if this shows up in my synastry with someone, the attraction is immediately evident from the Mars person towards the ASC. It feels like this one aspect is the most certain sign of attraction before even Venus/Mars.

Mars is a "malefic planet" that deals with force, power, conflict, aggression, separation and things along those lines. Unless, someone is drawn to that kind of energy then, yes. Attraction and union are Venus' energy. Anyway, it's impossible to dissect these energies that way as if they work in isolation.

Mars energy is involved in anything that involves application of intense energy.Posted by 7times77Mars is also sex and lust.

Of course mars is the application of intense energy. The Ascendant represents the body...
I've been following a circle of legit, traditional astrologers, albeit they are relatively young, on twitter. I'm grateful for their existence as they have been helping to clear out the misconstrued notions about about astrology and topics within it to younger generations, and to the ones who have had enough of modern astrology's bs.click to expand

Posted by 7times77Yes, I agree with that too. Mars is sex. Venus is love. They are both attraction. The application of synastry adds to the intensity between two people... the degrees/orb, houses, and type of aspect.Posted by VenusAquariusI added that to indicate that you can apply it to Mars in that regard, but sex and attraction are not in the nature of Mars, as many think, but of Venus. That's all I wanted to say in a nutshell. If you agree with that, then okay. If not, that's okay too.Posted by 7times77You disagree with me but I do not disagree with you.Posted by VenusAquariusIt's fine that we disagree about Mars' role on the topic of sex and lust.Posted by 7times77I don't disagree.Posted by VenusAquariusNo. We only disagree.Posted by 7times77You assumed I didn't know.Posted by VenusAquariusJust saying that there are different types of astrology, there is modern astrology and there is traditional/classical astrology and within those two there are more divisions. You say, "Mars energy is involved in anything that involves application of intense energy." To me, that includes sex and lust.click to expand
