Mars in Cancer attracted to Venus in Scorpio

I feel like my Mars in Cancer is obsessed with the placement, Venus in Scorpio.

The guy I've been dealing with for 80yrs is a Cancer Mars and I'm a Scorpio Venus.
I may have ran him away for the last time a few days ago.
He told me earlier this week how he's not one to go back to anything, and likes to move forward. I asked him what explains the constant back and forth we have, and he changed the subject.
I don't get he's the obsessed one though, I feel slightly more obsessed.

my partner has mars in cancer and i have vis. if he is obsessed he hides it very well. ha!

Ok soo yesterday he said we are always breaking up, sigh I'm soo confused. I told him it's him that does the disappear thing not me, I just set boundaries and then he seems to come around, yes I'm flattered a Lil excited and also soo confused.
