Funny story, IMO...

My eldest son sends me a message, "Sorry mom, just now seeing this."

It's a message on messenger from 2013 from a childhood BFF that I'd been trying to find for years...

She's looking for me and reaches out to my son, who, for whatever reason didn't see it or whatever, that send me the 4-year-old message to me.

Long story short, we've connected tonight are d have been on the phone several times just "catching up" after 30 years!!!

Now, these are the kind of old relationships reaching out that I could use more of! smile

Most AWESOME night in a very, very, long time!!!

My heart is happy!!!

edit: it's been 30 years since we've seen each other, or spoken to each other!
Awww that's great! I too reconnected with someone I hadn't spoken too in a while and we both agreed we wouldn't allow so much time to past before one of us reaches out again but she's an Aqua and I know she's all over the place lol. So I don't really put communication expectations on her but I see now not to leave communication solely up to her lol.

As for romantic, my Scorpio and I have been super lovey we each other and this rx has certainly brought us closer. I've come across a few of your post about your Scorpio ex and sorry he treated you badly but there are good Scorpios out there. My cousin is married to a Scorpio and he treats her like a queen, they've been married 15 yrs, she's a Cancer and I couldn't ask for a better man than my Scorpio.

However I have witnessed some not so great Scorpios so it's certainly a toss up with them for sure and my sister who's also a Cancer ironically can't stand them lol and married a Libra but she's also Air dominant so that probably plays a big part of it but she does approve of my Scorpio and says I found a needle in a haystack lol.
This happened with a friend of my mom's about a year ago. My brother and I had helped her reach out to friends she had from when we were kids. One she did get in touch with and talk to, and the other didn't get back to us til last year. She'd actually responded back in 2011 or 2012 and had only seen my brother's response last year.

He showed it to me because he wasn't sure how to respond considering my mom had died since we last heard from this lady. I was going to call her but I forgot and am not sure how to respond, myself. I don't know her all that well either.

Regardless, overall, it's amazing how much social media can play a role in getting back in touch with people from the past.

As for my experience, it taught me a lot of lessons. It's all good. Karma will deliver his in the end. I'm not worried. Just feel bad for the current girl. Except that's not my problem either.

The first thing I thought when I saw the message was that she was seeking me out for some negative reason, like terminal cancer or something. It scared me at first. I mean, really, we're all in our early 50's now... reality. But when I saw her latest post on fb in March, it turned everything around for me and was so incredibly exciting. She texted me today and said, "I feel like I just found my long lost favorite toy". smile She's got a great sense of humor!

I'm sad though, for your mom missing out on that connection. Did your mom reminisce about her over the years? I'm sure it would be awkward but if I had the opportunity to do something like that for my mom, I would call her and let her know what happened to your mom and maybe share some fond thoughts that she might have shared with you guys.

I reconnected with a friend as well!

I like this Retrograde. It's been a little difficult in some areas, I didn't want to end things with crab I was seeing but I needed to do it. Otherwise though, this retrograde made me feel like a lot of weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I feel like I'm gaining a lot of the clarity I've lost in recent years as well.

I am even ready to face Mercury and Saturn retrograde with a humble heart and open mind.
I'm embracing it more too, now that I'm beginning to understand what it's all about.

She did on and off. She'd have her kids over to play and all that, and they both had interest in horses in common.

But I found out she was caught up in some city council issues in her city and her daughter is someone who I do not want to bring back into my life for varying reasons, which is why I hesitated. It sounds odd, but my gut was telling me to hold off for some reason. *shrugs*

The gut doesn't lie.
