To be honest with you though it actually became a source of contention towards the end of both of those relationships, when they were discovering that they might actually just be *gay* (maybe I turned them, idk)... But I think this is an issue with *some* guys who purport to be bisexual. They're really just gay and "easing" into it by claiming the bi label during limbo. Not all of course, but some for sure.
Yes!! that is the only real problem; some-not ALL- men who claim to be bi are gay and unwilling to accept it or on the down-low and using women as cover-ups.click to expand

@MELLY,
I dated a tauri guy who came out to me and I didnt judge him. Instead I supported him in exploring this side of his sexuality and being there 4 him emotionally.

@sugarfood
You make me think.
I wad thinking the same too. Maybe he's insecure, and afraid that I'd be turn off if he let me know that he's bisexual before we went to date. Maybe he was afraid that I would loose interest, (which I probably would), but he told me after I'm having emotions for him.
Hmmm..... Interesting..

I don't think it is a microcosm. I think most people here are way more open minded than most. Especially in the U.Sclick to expand

My biggest problem would be that he kept this from me. Knowing full well that some people have a problem with dating someone who's not straight, he should have told you from the beginning.
Instead he let you invest time, emotion, and energy into him, then he told you.
I'd be afraid of what else he was keeping from me because he was afraid I might not accept him. And, I'd treat it the same way I'd treat someone who decided not to tell me that they're married, or have kids. I'd dump their azz.

It's incredible how narrow-minded and immature people are even today... The fact that this man is attracted to both sexes is disgusting? Really? How, exactly? Are you disgusted by a man who has slept with other women without a condom before he slept with you? No. Bisexual men aren't the disgusting ones...it's people with these outdated and ignorant views on them who are.
And don't even get me started on that "health consequences" comment, or "he might leave you for another man"... jesus christ. horrid! stop perpetuating this ignorant, outdated crap!

Its good to know that he trusts me. I dont judge my man. I will try to accept every way about him. Simply because I love him and I want to make him feel sastified and happy. Because he has been in alot of things, hardships. And he deserves the bestest.

he said he didn't tell her because he didn't think it should be a problem...and it shouldn't be. How does his sexuality compare to hiding a child or a marriage? He's not cheating on her or hiding a secret life, he's just attracted to men. And all of like 3 weeks was invested into him. Come on now.
Ok...it's like this. Having kids is not a bad thing. Being bi-sexual is not a bad thing. Agreed? Agreed.
However, some people (for various reasons) don't want to date people who have kids.
Some people, (for various reasons) don't want to date people who swing both ways.
IMO, people should be open and honest about themselves when they are inviting other people to share their life. Otherwise, your ability to make an informed decision about that person has been taken from you. It's not right.click to expand

maybe, JUST MAYBE, we should start accepting pedophiles as people who just loves kids,or rapists as people who just like having barbaric sex, or people who partake in incest as people who just like to "keep it in the family" so to speak..FUCK IT right? just, fuck it,fuck everything, lets just literally FUCK EVERYTHINGclick to expand

Just a thought from a straight guy if I found out my GF/Wife was Bi...
Logically...my brain would be saying "It shouldn't matter. She could cheat with a man just as well as a female. Her sexual orientation does not alter her ability to cheat"
Emotionally...there is going to be some conflict. There's always going to be something in the back of my mind that asks "What is a woman giving her that I can't give her?"
I don't think it's a "disgust" thing, more of an "unknown" thing.

Well
If you're not into it, then you're not into it-- no big deal.
Ultimately, *you* are the one who will date (or not date) this guy; no one else.
But he "didn't think it was a big deal"-- and you clearly do.
Soo-- you may want to figure out what both of your expectations are from here.

This is the dumbest and most invalid argument i hear people make. Pedophiles and rapists HARM people and RUIN LIVES by having sexual relations with others AGAINST THEIR WILL. You are not harming anyone by being attracted to the opposite sex unless you actually choose to rape/molest/harm them. Gay people are not harming anyone by being attracted to the same sex. In fact, they're doing this overpopulated and half-starving planet a favor.

au contraire mon frere, being bisexual can definietly harm someone and ruin lives..playing both sides is not healthy nor is it a natural..its a weakness..a person that can't choose a side,be it sexually, or in anything in life is a loser,period...and a person that wants it all is someone who i'd considered greedy, which in its self is also a form of self destructive behaviorclick to expand

It's strange for me just the thought of he's 50% gay.
I like masculine men, I dont mean the body, but the thought, the way he is. I like it manly, but as I've said the thought of he's 50% gay, kills me a little bit.
I told about this to my friend, and her reaction was ' what the heck?'
And I told my elder sister, and she said 'Ew'. So I dont think I'm not alone.
I love him, but love is love. This shit is something else -_-

why was he "supposed" to tell her a month ago? do you tell the new person you're dating about everyone you've fucked within the first few days of knowing them? i doubt it. stuff like that comes up when it comes up. she's not "in love" because she's known him for less than a month. that's ridiculous. she's infatuated with him. she's just now seeing that he's not completely ideal for her and his little bubble of perfection has burst. that's not his problem. more and more people are coming out now than ever before. people need to get used to the fact bisexuals exist. people that like the same gender don't have to hide in the shadows anymore to avoid getting lynched. it's a different world now than it was in the 50s which is where some of you guys seem to have your mindsets from. lol

I don't know why she's being treated like a villain for her feelings. Honestly I think he purposely waited to tell her because he had a feeling that she wouldn't be okay with it. I find that misleading. He was probably hoping once feelings got invested she would just look past this little admission. Not cool.

So because a bi man is attracted to men and women, he wants every man and woman in the world? In that case, i want every man on the planet and you want every woman on the planet, because being attracted to them means "wanting them all" and we can't be attracted to a whole sex but just choose one to love and be faithful to, right?
Sexuality is not a game of dodgeball. There aren't "sides" to choose, there is what you are attracted to and what you aren't. Did you have to choose to be straight? A person who thinks everything in life is two sides, black and white, no gray areas, is narrow-minded loser and needs to get out more, period.

If you are hetero then why would you want to be with someone who is not? At 20 why even consider this.

YOU DO NOT LOVE HIM AFTER 1 MONTH. If you want to stay cool but you do not love him. You just made a whole thread about checking his phone and him flirting with other women.
What about then men that come after him? I think they would have a problem with knowing this.

Attraction is something else, i like to look at girls, feel the beauty and the shape but I cant lick her pussy.
Sorry for my bad language, but this is what I had in my mind.

Rule of thumb. Gay people NEVER do anything wrong. And if you ever mention them doing something wrong, then you're regressive and bigoted.
I personally wouldn't be with a bi woman, just not my thing.
Posted by Mr. Defense
Yep, I'm bigoted. I have good friends of all different races, and I have a good gay friend. He would agree with nearly everything I've said in this thread. He also dislikes bisexuals, feeling like they're indecisive and their sexual preference is irresponsible. I'm inclined to agree. Choose one of the other, you can't be both. I have no problem with people who are completely gay or completely straight. At least they can bite the bullet and be with one gender. Bisexuals are just idiots.
And how is NOT agreeing with interracial dating racist?
Seems like anyone who won't take things to the extreme is considered bigoted in your book. I have no issues with gays, but I also have to like every gay agenda and bisexuals according to you, or else I'm a bigot. News Flash, I don't agree with every gay agenda. There are gay people who don't agree with every gay agenda. Just the way it is.

... most of you girls have sex with men that will fuck whoever will let them. most men will stick their dick into whoever will allow it. he's not any more likely to carry STDs than the guys you're all fucking. no man discriminates sexually the way a woman does. and it doesn't matter whos ass he's sticking his dick in. bisexuals aren't "dirty" and most of them are STD free the same as the rest of humanity.

none of these bitches will own it but they're all afraid he's gonna give her aids because obviously every man that has sex with a man does so indiscriminately and without bothering to use condoms.
they all became very silent when i asked them why they thought he should have told her sooner.click to expand

You got the point there! And I do agree.
I didnt complain about him, I was telling about my "strange" feeling. It's easy for you to say, but you'll fully understand what I meant when/if you get a lover who is attracted to the same sex.
I do not blame him. I do not complain about his attration and I do not judge him. I'm just analysing my feelings, and sharing it with you guys.

I dont understand what the heck Bisexuality is standing for. You either like girls or boys, you cant like both, romantically speaking. It's either black or white, there's no grey.
