The Stellium A Stellium is a configuration that occurs when three or more planets are in the same sign or are in the same house. This configuration is based on the conjunction. But instead of the usual 2 planets within 12 degrees of each other, you have 3 or more planets. A stellium often brings great power and focus upon the affairs ruled by the house and the tendencies shown by the sign involved. Strong will power, self-awareness, and a direct stimulation to action will be shown in the affairs of both the sign and house. The house in which the stellium resides, is often considered the 'power house' of the birthchart. It is a focal point of energy, whereby an individual takes on the many of the characteristics of the sign the stellium is in. When the planets are in very close conjunction, the orb aspect is tightened; and the stellium becomes like a 'super planet'. The key issue with Stelliums is one of balance. When three or more planets are in the same Sign, the energy and lessons of that Sign become extremely significant to the individual. Individuals with a Stellium often find that they tend to devote a large percentage of their time and energy towards the types of activities that stimulate and allow them to express their Stellium, by both Sign and House. What is important, then, is for these individuals to make a conscious effort to find some balance and perspective in their lives, which they can do by choosing to explore the energy and activities represented by the opposite sign and house from their Stellium. This will tend to be easiest when there are planets transiting opposite the Stellium, although it can obviously be done at any time. {Mars being our most activated planet, will give much added strength and influence to the house and sign it is in, as well. Mars activates both sign and house into action! So, although Mars in Leo in my 5th is oppositional in aspect across from my Aqua stellium; so too, this is where i also find balance; that constant back and forth synergy between both the Aqua & Leo energies.} So for me: 11th House Aquarian Stellium {the 11th being aqua's natural house cusp ruler} MOON in Aqua MERCURY in Aqua SATURN in Aqua Early SUN in Pisces also resides in the 11th

I have a 3 planet stellium in Sagittarius (Mercury, Mars, and Neptune), but not all of the planets fall in the same house. I also have 3 planets in Scorpio, but they do not form a stellium.

No problem DK, here's a little more info for You..! =) "Whats the tight saturn uranus orb mean?" The tighter and closer the Degree of 2 Planets the stronger and more intense the influence. This is called the orb of influence or aspect. The orb of separation for your saturn and uranus is only (0 deg. 10 min.) A few words about your saturn - uranus conjunction: Great self-reliance, and determination. Indicates a masterful manner with others, an original personality..*top that off with your other 2 original aqua placements..LOL* DK, i take it you're sag rising; therefore a first house stellium; the house of self and image; your drive, your aura, what you project to others.. Mars Uranus and Saturn in the first..wow! This 1st House Stellium gives you 'Great' strength of character, and a bigger than life image to others. Any house in a person's chart that has one or more planets in it (especially the stellium) is emphasized and strengthened by their presence. MARS in the First: You are impulsive and independant, and dislike taking advice from others. You approach new projects with energy and confidence, and are capable of hard work. You have strong sex desires and are passionate in lovemaking. Good points: Strong body, self-assertive, and couragous. Bad points: can be inconsiderate, pushy, domineering and accident prone. Watch that head, DK!! =) (You make take on certain Arian characteristics, whether it be in looks or manner.) URANUS in the First: You have an inventive mind, and may take up unusual interests or hobbies. Your life is often marked by sudden unexpected beginnings. You have a high-strung personality and an independant way of looking at things. You can be strong-willed about getting your own way. Good points: original, creative, intuitive. Bad points: inconsiderate, stubborn, erractic. (Uranus in the first will strengthen your aqua personality even more!) SATURN in the First: You are persistant, have organizing ability, and are capable of self-discipline. You are patient and want your talents and work to be recognized. Good points: industrious, good powers of endurance, a keen sense of responsibility. Bad points: stubborn and set in ways, overly cautious at times, secretive. "I have SUN, MARS, and PLUTO all in Scorpio; is this a stellium?" Yes, bluestar, this is certainly a stellium. Since your Ascendant is in Libra, i'm assuming you have Scorpio on your second house cusp. Therefore, you would have a: 2nd House Scorpio Stellium SUN: Scorpio 14.55 MARS: Scorpio 15.05 PLUTO: Scorpio 20.07 You also have (very) powerful, assertive planets bluestar in this stellium; all in the equally powerful sign of Scorpio! Very interesting combination! And in the house of money and possessions too..LOL* =) Sun conjunct Mars: (tight orb) Hard worker. Adventurous. Restless. Enthusiastic. Mars conjunct Pluto: High emotional level. Quick tempered. You will definately have to look closer at ALL the conjunctions, these three planets have with each other, bluestar!! You have a very intense stellium! -The Second House deals with a person's finances, or the area in life that pertains to assets and personal worth in terms of worldly goods; shows gain or loss according to conditions affecting this house. Denotes ears and throat. -The sign of Scorpio deals with legacies, wills, inheritances, etc -the endings of. So i find this scorp stellium a good fit for the second house.
{Here's a run-down of these three planets in your second house stellium.} SUN in the Second: You tend to attract money, but it comes into and goes out of your life rather quickly. You like to spend on luxuries, and many of your possessions increase in value over time. You often gain through influential people. Good points: generous, great reserves of strength, persistant, creative in finacial matters. Bad points: possessive, greedy, ostentatious, money and possessions become status symbols. MARS in the Second: You have good earning power and make gains through your own effort and competativeness. Money is important to you, and you aggressively go after it. You tend to have frequent finacial crisis, but you recover quickly. Good points: efficient, enterprising about new profit-making ideas, often have your own bussiness. Bad points: impulsive spender, lavish, careless, vulnerable to losses because of fire, haste or rashness. (Mars being the planet of fire.) Be extra careful about protecting and keeping your money and possessions safe, bluestar. PLUTO in the Second: You are adventurous about money, and not afraid of taking risks. You like to diversify, and during your lifetime there may be several changes in your source of income.

'Saturn is in 10 Degrees Capricorn. Uranus is in 03 Degrees Capricorn. Neptune is in 10 Degrees Capricorn.' "so what does this mean" You do indeed have a Stellium, SilverNitrate 11th House Capricorn Stellium SATURN: Capricorn 10.00 URANUS: Capricorn 03.00 NEPTUNE: Capricorn 10.00 Since your Rising Sign is in Pisces, and unless you have interrcepted houses; this would put your 3 Stellium planets into the 11th. (The house position is very important, so double check yourself sometime, that these planets are indeed in the 11th house.) The tighter and closer the Degree of 2 Planets the stronger and more intense the influence. (You have a very tight zero degree orb of influence between Saturn and Neptune, SilverNitrate.) Also, any house in a person's chart that has one or more planets in it (especially the stellium) is emphasized and strengthened by their presence. Saturn conjunct Neptune: (tight orb) Hard-working and authoritative. An excellent aspect that combines idealism with practicality. Saturn conjunct Uranus: Great self-reliance and determination. Indicates a masterful manner with others, an original personality. (Of course, you'll want to look deeper into ALL possible aspects between these 3 Stellium planets, SilverNitrate.) -The 11th House is associated with friends, companions, hopes and wishes. Pertains to the ankles. -Capricorn is the sign governing reputation, career, standing in the community. It's natives seek honor, praise, and approval in the world at large. A Capricorn Stellium gives you a great work ethic, an earthy stability, much determination and discipline, and an air of authority. Capricorn uses cunning instead of force to seize the opportunity. (Remember, the key issue with Stelliums is one of balance. What is important, then, is for individuals to make a conscious effort to find some balance and perspective in their lives, which they can do by choosing to explore the energy and activities represented by the opposite sign and house from their Stellium. So for you, that would be your Cancer planets, most likely in your 5th house.)

continued, cap stellium
{SN, Here's a run-down of these three planets in your 11th house stellium.} SATURN in the Eleventh: You prefer to form a few true and lasting friendships, rather than cultivate many superficial aquaintances. You have high aspirations, but must often cope with mundane delays and obstacles. The discipline you learn early in life brings freedom later on. Good point: determination to reach objectives. Bad point: may be victimized by unscrupulous or selfish motives on the part of others. URANUS in the Eleventh: Your attachments and friendships often form suddenly. You are attracted to people with unusual interests and from different walks of life; you may be involved with the occult, and most likely have a deep interest in astrology and the esoteric. Your ideals and ambitions are not run-of-the-mill, and you are often thought of as a unique personality. Good point: lively and inventive attitude toward achieving goals. Bad point: may suffer enstrangements with friends, and consequent emotional upsets. (Curiously, many famous astrologers have Uranus in the 11th house; there is a natural affinity and talent.) NEPTUNE in the Eleventh: You are drawn to artistic, sensitive people, and are likely to form friendships, because of goals you share in common. You are inclined to be an idealistic, compassionate person, concerned with giving help to others. You may join a humanitarian organization or a group with visionary aims. Good point: intuitive to the needs of others. Bad point: you may suffer because of unreliable and treacherous friends. i also want to point out that a person generally is not astrologically mature until about the age of about 21. You are still growing into your planets. Your outer planets may take even longer, which happens to be the 3 planets in your stellium. So in time, you will gradually feel the strengthening influence and force of this Stellium, as you get older. *SilverNitrate; besides your cap stellium;.*Your Mars in Leo is a *very* strong positon to have in your Birthchart..*same as moi, btw! Not only that, you also have Mars and Venus conjunct in Leo, as well..wow! ..okay, hope this info helps you some.. =)

"Hey Mystic, what is your opinion on the triple threats? My mother, for instance, is a SUN, MOON and RISING Piscean (yikes! hehe).. I love her to death, but she isn't the greatest force to be reckoned with (personality-wise I mean, obviously cos Pisceans are peace lovers)" Wow! That's alot of Pisces, bluestars! She is a *Triple Piscean* ..kind of rare indeed. Now i think what you mean is..*she is very introspective, and peace-loving? Where maybe you want a little more fire and movement. hmmmmm, i'm guessing maybe her passions may lie more in the world of subtly, feelings and the inner mind. Perhaps her passions may activate to a higher octave in the world of art, music, the esoteric. 'sort of like if you put a paint brush in her hand, look out! wow, i mysefl have never met a triple piscean before, and with you as a scorpio, that is alot of water!

I think this is correct: 1st House Piscean Stellium SUN in Pisces MOON in Pisces MERCURY in Pisces JUPITER in Aquarius also in the 1st that makes me attention seeking, moody & talkative with a tendency to say whatever comes into my head - that pretty much sums me up. Did wonder where the tendency to seek attention came from, only appears occassionally. I am suppose to be looking for something on the opposite side to balance out?

sun-leo moon-leo jupiter-leo venus-virgo uranus-virgo pluto-virgo "does this count..........." Hey there, chocolate..! i'm looking at your chart right now... wow! Looks like you have a *double stellium* , now that is rare!! *i also see you have Interrcepted Houses like i do.. Your's are in Leo & Aquarius.. so that means unfortunately i can't go any further with your first 3 planets in Leo unless i have the exact degree of your house-cusps, and perferably the degrees of ALL 6 stellium planets, for the sake of accuracy. Just off the top of my head though, it does look like your Leo Stellium would be in either the 8th or 9th House. But i'm not sure, it's much better to have the house and planetary degrees for the best accuracy...

Ok, I definately have a stellium in Saggitarius. I am though a little confused on the degrees. I have. Jupiter Uranus Saggitarius all within 12 degrees. Neptune But I also have: Mars Venus Virgo Mercury Sun Moon Libra Pluto
So, do I actually have three stelliums in my chart? or do they have to be within several degrees of each other?

"So, do I actually have three stelliums in my chart? or do they have to be within several degrees of each other?" I looke dup your chart last night, and didn't think that I found any in it. From what I understood, they all three have to be conjunct to each other, which is within 12 degrees of each other...but, maybe I misunderstood it? Sagittarius: Jupiter Sagittarius 7?31'36 in house 7 direct Uranus Sagittarius 6?13'53 in house 7 direct Neptune Sagittarius 26?40'24 in house 8 direct
Virgo: Mercury Virgo 25?40'40 in house 5 direct Venus Virgo 0?12'29 in house 4 direct Mars Virgo 3?48'41 in house 4 direct
Libra: Sun Libra 12?19'09 in house 5 direct Moon Libra 7?59'08 in house 5 direct Pluto Libra 28?46'18 in house 6 direct

"So, do I actually have three stelliums in my chart? or do they have to be within several degrees of each other?" Your right, alcheme, they do have to be at least within 12 degrees of each other to be considered true Stelliums. Neptune Sagittarius 26?40'24 /Mercury Virgo 25?40'40 /Pluto Libra 28?46'18 ..all are in much later degrees. So officially i would say not; however there is still a certain amount of strength, just by the (number) of planets in each prospective house. So even though you don't have traditional stelliums by degree, any house in a person's chart that has one or more planets in it is still emphasized and strengthened by their presence. All those Sag, Virgo, and Libra planets are still a very strong influences in your birthchart, as a whole. And of course, understanding (aspects) between all your planets is very important, too..

Thanx alot for extra info chocolate, just what i needed! However, i need you to double-check the House Position of your Moon, because according to my calculations, you are only a mere 5 min. away from a 4th house moon placement, which would make this a true Stellium! Otherwise that 5 minute difference would place it back in the third. The planetary degree has to be higher than the house cusp degree. So this is very important. That's the thing about astrology, it's very percise to the minute. Here's the url to a great site where you can double-check the Moon's exact house position. http://www.astrotheme.fr/en/offres_theme_natal.php What i have so far: SUN: Leo 12. 52 in House 4 MOON: Leo 11.18 in House 3 or 4? (

Hi there chocolate, well i finally finished..! btw, thanx so much for waiting..! Isn't it great having Taurus Rising, gives us that extra patience! LOL* Okay, although you don't have a true Leo Stellium, as the Moon is out of house with Sun and Jupiter, you do have a powerful Virgo Stellium in the 5th, according to the original planet/house longitudes you gave me earlier. This is what i had suspected..! 5th House Virgo Stellium VENUS: Virgo 13.47 URANUS: Virgo 22.15 PLUTO: Virgo 19.06 -------------- -VENUS will impart passion, diplomacy, pleasure and heightened social pursuits to this stellium. -URANUS, the planet of individuation, adds a dimension of uniqueness, independence and perhaps eccentricity to this stellium grouping. -PLUTO is known as the planet of power and transformation, but it is also secretive. When Pluto is prominent in an individual's chart, as it is here in a Stellium, it often imparts a degree of inscrutability to the personality. Sometimes these people employ a deadpan, almost blank expression as a defense in order not to let others know what is going on in their minds. (i'm thinking verrry handy, for a game of poker! LOL*) [Stellium Planets in Conjunction] Venus conjunct Uranus: This conjunction suggests that you are indeed inclined to sudden attractions. This placement gives much sparkle to your personality, making you popular, and socially active. It may be hard for you to stay tied to one person, because your affections are so universal by nature. It's a good idea for you to give your romances the test of time. Avoid rushing into marriage. If you are artistically inclined, this aspect adds a degree of originality to your work or performances. Venus conjunct Pluto: This conjunction shows a great deal of passion and emotional intensity in your affections. Any artisitc abilities, you may possess are given a strong dramatic overtone. You are wildly passionate towards the one you love, as being perhaps jealous and possessive of them, as well. Whatever you feel, you want to feel it down to the deepest level of your existence. (Curiously, your 7th house scorpio descendant also has these very similar characteristics, chocolate. So wow, double the power, there!) Of course, one must also be realistic in a sense, because no relationship can be that intense and that interesting ALL the time. At times you may not care whether the emotions you feel are good or bad, as long as they are powerful.

~continued... Venus conjunct Pluto: These intense relationships, even if they do not last, have a way of transforming you and that is why you instictively seek them out, or why they seem to come to you. Your powers to attract are very magnetic and strong. You arouse deep responses in your romantic partners, and your commitment in emotional relationships is complete. Uranus conjunct Pluto: This is somewhat more of a generational influence. When these planets are in contact with each other, political structures will be shaken and disturbed in order to allow new methods of government principles to emerge. Pluto relates to political power, and there is power here to help you change outdated social systems and structures, should you desire to do so. However this power should never be used for selfish reasons or gain. Some form of involvement with the masses is indicated. You have much will-power and stamina, if you don't get side-tracked with too many projects. So focus on one thing at a time, before moving onto the next. In some manner, you may make an imprint upon society.. --Virgo is the the sign of work, health, service and self-improvement. It symblizes perfectionism, is discriminating and industrious, analytical and painstaking; seeking to know and understand. To find the truth and obtain all information available. --The 5th House is involved with social affairs, pleasure, fun, children, speculation, romance, and the lighter side of the emotions. Pertains to the heart, upper back, and sides. --This cluster of planetary energy bundled up in Virgo may give you a somewhat humble, if not self-effacing, attitude at times. Yet, it also gives you an industrious, perfectionistic flair, and an intelligent, discriminating mind that seeks the truth! [Here now, is a description of Planets: Venus, Uranus, and Pluto inside your 5th house stellium, chocolate.] VENUS in the Fifth: You like social life, and being in the spotlight. You attract romance, and usually have many lovers. You take pleasure in creative work, and are affectionate with children. Creative talent in the performing arts is often associated with this placement. Good point: you have the talent to succeed in the artistic and entertainment world. Bad point: may be self-indulgent and overly fond of applause.

~continued... Planets in your 5th house stellium: URANUS in the Fifth: You are prone to sudden infatuations which also may end abruptly. You may be engaged to marry, and then break the engagement. You may like novelty, the unusual, and experimentation in sex. Good point: highly innovative and inventive, in creative expression. Bad point: offspring can cause you much trouble unless you channel their energies in the right direction at an early age. PLUTO in the Fifth: You are impetuous and passionate, and will follow your desires where they lead you. You exaggerate the importance of your love affairs, until you become intensely involved. In your romantic relationships, there is an attempt to dominate, or to attract a partner who attempts to dominate you. You may also have a strong or powerful artistic bent. Good point: you feel responsibility to loved ones. Bad point: you may harbor resentment against a past love. [Remember, the key issue with Stelliums is one of balance. What is important, is to make a conscious effort to find some balance and perspective in your life, which you can do by choosing to explore the energy and activities represented by the opposite sign and house from your Stellium. So for you, that would be your 11th piscean house, chocolate. Although you have no traditional planets in Pisces; except asteroid chiron, you do have creative, artisitc, passionate Venus on your side, as a part of this important and powerful cluster known as your Virgo Stellium.] FAMOUS CELEB WITH A VIRGO STELLIUM: Keanu Reeves--Mercury, the Sun, and the generational planets Uranus and Pluto, all together in Virgo! ..'btw, Keanu; a great actor with a (very) big heart!' Hey, don't mention it chocolate; you're so very welcome..'my pleasure as always! 'you're so right, i do adore astrology and the para-sciences in general; always have; and have learned much over the years, through a few courses/studied, and just living the real world, with real people has helped me the most. i guess i'm kind of a born again people-watcher; must be my own (aqua stellium) working overtime..lol! =) Of course, i'll never know enough, but that's what makes it so interesting and fun; the constant exploring, searching and stretching; finding your own mix of intuition, combined with 1000 + year old facts in this highly interesting, mysterious artsy kind-of-science, i'll always love, and believe.. "Stellium is one of balance.......and that i do have im very grounded and centered." Good for you, chocolate; i'm happy that you've found your own sense of groundedness and peace in the world! And with all that Virgo, no wonder the Virgo mania!! LOL* i'm so glad you enjoyed the read, chocolate.. *take care, BEST always...!!

I was doing a random Google search for something astrologically related, when I came across this thread. Just wanted to toss a reply to this one even though it's been a while since the last one. I have 6 planets in Virgo in the 12th house. 5 are part of a stellium. Mercury 24Vir55, Sun 21Vir13, Uranus 20Vir06, Pluto 18Vir22, Moon 16Vir58, and Venus off to the side at 6Vir49. Ascendant is at 27Vir12. A triple Virgo on top of everything. 7:05 AM CDT, 14 Sept 66, 42N22 87W51 :-)

I have a Cap stellium in the first house. SUN MERCURY NEPTUNE in Cap in the 1st house I also have SATURN URANUS ASC. in Sag in the 1st house. Does the Ascendant play a part in this? Since it rules the first house I thought it would but I may be wrong. What are the influences of this Cap and possibly Sag stellium? What would be the opposites - the placement of Cancer/the Moon? I have a Moon in Aries in the 4th house... would this need to be activated to balance it?
HI new here, but as i saw the stellium theme.. I have a stellium in libra in 10th house Pluto sun saturn venus libra mercury (this one on the 9th house) and then mars and neptune in 1st house sagitarius so... its libra but all unbalanced huh..

Hi VRV .. Although Saturn & Uranus are Conjunct and in a (strong) tight orb to one another, this isn't a true stellium, because Neptune in Cap is not only out of sign; astrologers can be sticky about this, but Neptune would be way out of acceptable orb allowance for a Conjunction. However, here's some info for you on your tight Saturn-Uranus Aspect. Saturn conjunct Uranus: Depending on other factors in your chart, this aspect will either bring out greater magnetism or greater confusion. The struggle here is between the conservative and the liberal, the traditional and the innovative, the conventional and the eccentric, the real and down-to-earth and the visionary. Internal tension is created as you go from one side to the other, back and forth. This aspect, though, can give you the power to positively blend these different qualities in ways that are truly beneficial to all. It may not come easily, but if given the necessary repeated effort, it is certainly possible to do. You are capable of making great reforms by using discipline and structure in bringing about needed change. Your sense of order, practicality and method allows you to see the job through to the end if you will just stick with it. You must be patient as good things take time to build. There should be the ability to fuse ideas with practical application, to ground and anchor those sometimes slightly intangible and ephemeral Uranian ideas, thus transferring them, from the level of mind into material existence. You should be able to take advantage of your personal resources and talents; and these can be effectively expressed through efficient organisation. Often, you will find enjoyment from becoming involved in situations where you can create order from chaos. While this may appear Saturnian in nature, Uranus is not chaotic for the sake of it, but is only disruptive in order to create the conditions for a higher order to be superimposed. You will need to draw through the (Saturn) qualities of boundary-making and structure, so that your life and inner nature begin to take distinct form again, creating a stable foundation from which to work.

Hi c-man, you have a 3 planet stellium in the 6th House. By planetary degree, Mars in Taurus (26.33) is technically posited inside your 7th house. However, Mars is still considered influential in association (conjunction) with Sun & Mercury. And some astrologers may still consider it part of the stellia, although out-of-house. Yet one must consider its loose orb to the Moon. Sun-Mercury are your tightest conjunctions, Moon is loosely conjunct to sun-mercury-mars.
6th House Taurus Stellium (Earth-Fixed-Feminine) SUN: Taurus 20.45 MOON: Taurus 10.33 MERCURY: Taurus 21.48 With a stellium of "personal planets" in Taurus, a talent in artistic ventures, an eye and great love for beauty would likely be paramount. This earthy Taurean stellium will also create a tremendous focus of the steady, possessive, possession-oriented, sensual energy of Taurus. It may also reinforce a drive for pleasure from the material world?could be through food, drink, making money, collecting possessions, creating or enjoying beauty or nature, etc. This STRONG focal point of energy would manifest itself mainly as related to (Mercury) communication (all forms of..) (Moon) feelings, emotions, the home, family (Sun) your will-direction, ego, core-self & as further related to (6th House) of jobs-skills, service, detail-organizing, health. And since this sensual, earthy-fixed stellium involves your personal "inner" planets, your stellium will probably be explored more on personal issues or those closer to the heart. Since you have no planets in (opposition) to this Stellium, and Scorpio rests on both your hidden 12th house cusp and first house ASC, it may be your greater challenge to find some balance & perspective (both "inner & outer") as it pertains to the energies of Scorpio. Taurus & the 6th House will definately be a MAJOR focal point in your chart..! Hope this has helped some..s*
