My Cancer ex told me to not contact him, I didn't. Three weeks later....he was right back to texting like nothing was ever said. I fell for it, responded back. He picked fight after fight, caused drama, lied, confused, until I told him to not contact me. No contact for two weeks, then he started texting and calling again. Ended up telling him to totally delete me, do not text/call. Said he was done...two days later he attempted contact, I didn't respond. A week later he attempted again.....
Does it end?

I give the delete me.

I've dealt with some messed up scorpios. It's hard not to fall for a scorpio girl, they are amazing, but equally psychotic and have a tendency to be self-destructive and out of control. It's possible that you're attracting a certain type of women. The ones who are not as evolved, and have boundary issues. Anyone who is experienced can figure who got boundary issues within the first get-go.
It takes time to get to know people.
My experience with Cancers is they tend to want immediate results, expect you to feel the same level of intensity in a short amount of time. Whereas Scorps need a little more time, to get the feel if it's real or not. While a Scorp is trying to sort out her/his feeling, it seems as though a Cancer would say, "time's up, guess you don't feel the same way about me"---then moves on. And probably already thinking of, scheming to make a move on some chick at Whole Foods who shops every Thursday night at 7:15 PM.
A Scorp, when he/she wants to get involved in a relationship, it's for a long haul. It seems as though a Cancer can easily start liking someone, then flutter from one relationship to another---while a Scorp is abandoned, left on a lurch.

Yes both hurts but with a "delete me" at least I don't have to drive myself insane for the next few weeks trying to figure out what happened...I'd know he has no more interest. cancerkid, how long have you known these Scorpios? Were you friends with them first?
Personally, I have never been immediate friends with a Scorp from the first get-go. It takes a while to trust, then open up. Scorps I am friends with--I have known them for at least a year before we finally agreed to get coffee, lunch with. And this is for me to go out with a female, to become her friend (I am a female and straight). There has to be some level of familiarity and consistency.
My husband, a Scorp and I were platonic friends close to two years before we got together, engaged within five months, got married four months later. I dated another Scorp, same story---friends first, then aggressive courting afterwards.
I can believe that the Scorps you dated were beautiful, intelligent and cultured--and the attraction was immediate and intense. I think the issue is, a lot of times, a Scorp and Cancer want to get it on as soon as possible, or whatever--but meanwhile, they do not truly know one another.
I am sorry you had a bad experience with Scorps. Key is this: get to know them first, then possibly consider dating. Or just remain as friends.
Or is it possible that an attraction is way too strong, that a friendship at first is virtually impossible? And of course, NO FWB bullshiet.
And BTW, why did you even put up a week, a month of silent treatment or whatever? Right there, that's a problem. Especially with a Scorp. I totally agree with every word. I had to learn the hard way :/ Yep, it hurt, still stings a little from time to time, but I do not EVER want to experience that again. I've not responded to his recent attempts and won't, though I doubt he will stop any time soon.
